I’ve built strong bonds with dogs over the years — including a deep connection with a pit bull I cared for consistently over a year, and ongoing care for a friend’s anxious dog who takes daily medication. I’ve also dog-sat for a coworker and have a history of being the go-to person for friends’ and family’s dogs, including pets who took to me right away. I’m comfortable with medication schedules, anxious or nervous dogs, and larger breeds, and I prioritize keeping dogs on their normal routine and feeling secure while their people are away.

I have two cats of my own — a senior cat on a twice-daily medication routine and a younger cat with a sensitive temperament — so I’m experienced with calm, low-stress environments. I’m attentive to introductions, keep a clean space, and make sure pets feel secure and comfortable. While I don’t have a private yard, there’s grass right in front of my place, a larger grassy area across my street, and a Power Line trail just across the main road for walks

Jane was great! Benny and Murphy had a wonderful time with her and she sent photos regularly. Even when they woke her up very early, she sent a photo of them snuggling before she got some more rest. Would definitely book again! Thank you Jane for taking care of our babies
When my husband and I were looking for a cat sitter, we got recommended Janie and couldn’t have been happier. Our cat Mittens is not always friendly to all people, but right away warmed up to Janie and we got great pictures of him throughout our whole trip. He was in great hands which allowed us to not worry when we were away. We are going away next month and will use Janie again to watch him.

Schedule
I’m currently job searching , as a long term social worker/therapist, which gives me a flexible daily schedule with plenty of availability for walks, drop-ins, or boarding. I’m generally free during the day and evenings, with consistent availability throughout the week to keep your pet on their routine.
