About: I've personally owned animals my entire life. I've raised 3 dogs in the past and currently own qthat absolutely love other animals and people! I also have 3 cats that are all extremely friendly and love new things. I currently work at an animal shelter working with dogs, cats, small mammals, birds, reptiles, and amphibians. I have experience with friendly animals, reactive animals, and shy animals. I'm very skilled at giving medications as I have to do it daily for my job. My schedule is very flexible and I'm also good in medical cases with animals. I don't have a degree in veterinary sciences, but work with strange cases daily and have a close connection with vet techs. I'm excited to open my heart to new animals! I currently work part time in the mornings and can stop in before my shift to do a check in, potty breaks, and feeding. Once I'm off in the afternoon, I can do more check-ins and walks. In the afternoons, I can stick around longer to spend more time with them. I have experience with positive reinforcement and am also okay with using dog crates if the need is there. I'm experienced with different types of harnesses and collars as well and have worked with dogs with many different allergies.

About: We have owned and cared for dogs our entire lives. We have helped care for our family and friends dogs and want to help out more locally. Unfortunately, our dog of 15 years recently passed away. We are not ready to get another dog yet, but would love the opportunity to help watch or care for yours. We have plenty of experience with helping out elderly dogs, as well as training puppies. We have administered medication and can follow directions easily. We work full time, but have the ability to care for in the morning before work, coming home during lunch, as well as evenings. We will schedule accordingly to make sure we are home to provide quality time with your dog. We treat every dog as if they were ours. About: Hi! My name is Madison, and I’m an experienced and dependable pet lover with a lifelong passion for caring for animals. I currently have one cat of my own, but I grew up with both big and small dogs, as well as indoor and outdoor cats—so I’m very comfortable around pets of all shapes, sizes, and temperaments. While I now work as a server and bartender, I’ve always made time for animals. During college, I volunteered regularly at the local animal shelter, where I walked a wide variety of dogs. That experience taught me a lot about leash and harness handling, and gave me the skills to confidently care for dogs with different energy levels and personalities. Whether you’re looking for someone to walk your pup, check in on your cat, or just give your pets some extra love while you’re away, I’m here to help. My only “guaranteed” times off are Tuesday afternoons and Sundays, which is when I could be available for recurring bookings. About: I’m Jake, and I’m grateful you’d consider letting me spend some time with your pet! I’m a Master of Social Work student, hoping to get in some animal time and make some extra cash. I grew up wanting to be a veterinarian, so I’ve spent years working at a pet shop, volunteering at the zoo, shadowing vets, and working at animal hospitals, where my sole role was walking, feeding, cleaning up after, etc. animals and people’s pets! Before college, I also owned fish, snakes, parrots, a sugar glider, a rat, and probably something else! My family now has a wonderful yellow lab named Toby. I’m comfortable and have had experience around animals of all sorts—especially dogs of all temperaments—and look forward to providing your pets the most loving care. I’m also a runner and would love to take your dog for a jog if you’d like them to move a little extra energy! I’m usually available for sittings during the week, but weekends may vary. This semester, I have internship from 7:00-2:30 MWF, and I have class on Tuesday. So, sittings where pets can be left alone for about 7 hours would be best for me! Typically, I can only plan for sittings that are no longer than one or two weeks, but feel free to reach out to me to so we can work something out. I’m happy to work with you to determine when a service would work best for you! I believe that trust is of utmost importance in pet care. Having had a number of pets throughout my life, I understand the need for trusted providers of pet care. About: I've been taking care of pets since I was a young child (cats, dogs, and the occasional hamster). I've had my own cats the entirety of my adult life, and am the only person trusted with dog sitting my friend's large, energetic, and high-maintenance Doberman, so you can rest easy knowing that I can handle dogs with higher needs. I'm beloved by all cats -- when I was a baby, cats used to come down off of porches and from houses and yards to sniff me in my stroller as I was walked by. I teach one class at the University that occupies my Tuesday afternoons, but otherwise I am available flexible on both weekdays and weekends. I'm an early bird so early walks or visits are no problem. I have an office space in my own home that can act as a private room for your cat, away from my own (or, if your cat is comfortable with other cats, they can be introduced to mine, depending on your comfort and preference). In your home, I'll meet your pet (cat or dog!) where they're at -- and am comfortable crating and threshold-training as needed.

About: Hi, I’m Sophie! I have 2 dogs of my own and I love them with all of my heart! I’ve been dog sitting throughout my community for 4 years. I’m now living in Iowa City for school and missing my babies at home so I would love to hangout with yours :) I’ve been caring for my dogs at home for the past 12 years so I know how to deal with animals during all stages of life. Additionally, i’ve stayed at my clients homes for both short and long periods of time. I will always be respectful of your home and establish rules prior to my stay. My main goal is to make sure your animals feel happy and comfortable at all times. This summer I will be working part time and doing online courses. Both of these are very flexible and provide me plenty of gaps throughout the day to do walks and drop ins! If you need overnight care, feel free to reach out a couple of days in advance in case I need to modify anything! My current apartment is not pet friendly so I won’t be accepting in home care at the moment. This will change in August of 2023!

About: We have had pets for 15 years and took care of pets for students over the summer in our house for few years. We personally have a close friend who is a veterinarian. Many walks and play time. We will walk, feed, bath and take care of your pet. Great walking path and park by our house. I currently and permanently work from home now so I can take care pets during the day. My wife also works from home. My son goes to high school but can help when he returns. I have a fenced in yard with a happy mini golden doodle who gets among with most dogs and people. Farm trips may also be possible as we run the family farm west of Des Moines with my brother. We are weekend farmers. I am working from home and can provide care during the day. My sons comes home from school and can provide care after 5 pm. My wife works from home also so there is almost always someone home all the time. I have a fenced in yard that is mostly rock and wooden deck. We do has a pool also. Lots of open areas and parks around us. I am working full time from home and part time away from home but then my son is back from school. Wife works full time from home except on Mondays. Fenced in yard with a pool. We have quiet neighborhood and lots of parks close by. In laws live one block away and they have a fenced in yard as well with two kids.
