“This was our first experience using Lynn to provide an afternoon of daycare for our two, 1-1/2 yr old labs Maggie and Willow. Lynn met with us for a visit before we booked this daycare service and we found Lynn to be very knowledgeable, confident, cheerful and pleasant to work with. She did a great job answering all of questions and gave us the time we needed to ask them. On the day of daycare she took extra care in introducing our pups to the other dogs since Maggie can be very timid and a bit insecure. Everything went really well and by all indications Maggie and Willow had a great time. We will certainly book future stays with Lynn.”

About: Hi, I live and work on a peaceful 5-acre property in south Maplewood near the Battle Creek area, where I share my days with my two dogs, Nessel and Luna. My home is a good fit for dogs who do best with space, patience, structure, and a calmer environment than a traditional kennel or busy boarding setup. My property is also a designated Sniffspot, so many dogs visit here to play, sniff, explore, and decompress. Visiting dogs have room to settle indoors, with separate rooms available when needed for slow introductions, quiet time, or dogs who need their own space. Outside, they can enjoy a 60 ft x 100 ft fenced play area for off-leash play, fetch, tug, and exercise. I’ve also added a spring pole for dogs with high energy or a strong tug drive, plus a water-play area with installed sprinklers, a kiddie pool, and a hose -- great for cooling off on hot days. The rest of the property includes open field space, wooded trails, logs, sticks, wildlife scents, and quiet areas for sniff walks and decompression. I usually spend part of the day giving dogs exercise in the fenced area, then taking slower walks around the property so they can sniff, explore, and settle. For dogs who are nervous, reactive, or slow to warm up, I take introductions slowly and pay close attention to body language, comfort level, and safety. I know many dog parents need peace of mind when leaving their pup with someone new. I do my best to provide regular attention, thoughtful care, safe separation when needed, and a calm home environment where dogs are treated with patience and respect. I genuinely enjoy caring for dogs and try to match each dog’s needs, whether they need play, structure, affection, confidence-building, or simply a quiet place to feel safe. Dogs are not just pets here -- they are treated like family. Because I’m on site, I’m able to supervise playtime, outdoor time, and introductions between dogs carefully. Overnight stays fit naturally into the routine here, which means dogs receive consistent attention and supervision around the clock. Dogs are treated like family here. They’ll get plenty of affection, belly rubs, and attention, but I also believe dogs feel most secure when there are clear boundaries and structure. When a new dog arrives, I give them time to settle in at their own pace. They can explore the house, sniff around the property, and get comfortable with the environment before meeting my dogs. Introductions are done slowly and thoughtfully based on each dog’s temperament so everyone feels safe. Instead of walking along busy streets, we spend most of our time right here on the 5-acre property. There is a large 60 ft x 100 ft fenced area for active dogs, or for dogs who simply enjoy being outdoors. Dogs have plenty of opportunities to go outside, explore, roam the fenced area, and take in all the sights and smells of nature. It’s a calm, spacious environment where dogs can relax, play, and enjoy themselves.

I focus on keeping pets safe, calm, and well cared for while their owners are away. I’m available to care for cats & dogs on weekdays from 7:30 AM to 2:00 PM while my daughter is at school. During this time, I can provide feeding, walks, playtime, cuddles, and attention to make sure your pet feels happy and comfortable. I care for pets by following their usual routines, including feeding, fresh water, walks, and litter box maintenance when needed. I make sure pets are cared for in a clean, safe, and calm environment, whether I’m visiting their home or caring for them in my own. About: I care for each pet as if they were my own. I walk, run and play with them. I treat every pet like a friend, offering comfort, attention and emotional connection. I bathe my dog about every other month. We have a routine in the morning with a walk before breakfast. Sometimes a walk around lunch time and another one after work is done. He is well loved and treated like a family member. I work full time Monday through Friday. I am in my office 3 half days and full time at home the other 2 days. I could stop at someone’s place on my way home to spend time with a dog and walk them. I can also stop over after work and later in the evening. In my home I have a fenced in yard that my dog can run free and play. If I am in a clients home I would make sure that there is nothing that the dog/puppy could get into after spending time with them/walking them.

About: I’ve been caring for my current dog for 5 years, previously I had a pup that I cared for 2 years.
