“This was our first experience using Lynn to provide an afternoon of daycare for our two, 1-1/2 yr old labs Maggie and Willow. Lynn met with us for a visit before we booked this daycare service and we found Lynn to be very knowledgeable, confident, cheerful and pleasant to work with. She did a great job answering all of questions and gave us the time we needed to ask them. On the day of daycare she took extra care in introducing our pups to the other dogs since Maggie can be very timid and a bit insecure. “Mike is our absolute favorite when it comes to care for our two dogs. He is so friendly and takes amazing care of our dogs while we are away at work. He sends pictures and updates throughout the day which is so appreciated. He has a lovely fenced in yard for the dogs to play in, and when they are inside he allows them to get comfy on the couches! Our dogs love going to Mikes house, all I have to do is say “Who wants to go to Mikes?” and they both jump up and nudge their leashes by the front door! Our one dog was adopted a couple years ago and was still struggling with opening up to other dogs when we first started bringing them to Mikes house 7 months ago. Fast forward to now, she is so excited to go to his house and is playing wonderfully with the other dogs. He is patient, kind, and loves the dogs in his care and it shows. About: I care for each pet as if they were my own. I walk, run and play with them. I treat every pet like a friend, offering comfort, attention and emotional connection. I bathe my dog about every other month. We have a routine in the morning with a walk before breakfast. Sometimes a walk around lunch time and another one after work is done. He is well loved and treated like a family member. I work full time Monday through Friday. I am in my office 3 half days and full time at home the other 2 days. I could stop at someone’s place on my way home to spend time with a dog and walk them. I can also stop over after work and later in the evening. In my home I have a fenced in yard that my dog can run free and play. If I am in a clients home I would make sure that there is nothing that the dog/puppy could get into after spending time with them/walking them.

About: Growing up, I became the neighborhood pet sitter for all the dogs and cats on my block-- I loved it so much that I didn't want to give it up once I started teaching! During the school year, I can watch your pets if they are used to being left alone during the workday. During the summer, I am free to give your pets as much love and attention as they'll put up with! As a sitter, my biggest priorities are safety, routine, and communication. When I am house sitting, I try to follow your routine as closely as possible to try and make your pets feel a little more at ease, and I send lots of pictures to try and make YOU feel a little more at ease! I also love to spoil the pets I'm watching, so be ready for me to ask if your dog or cat is okay to have a pup cup anytime I'm picking up coffee :) As I said earlier, I am available in the summer to spend as much time as you would like with your pets. When I am house sitting, I treat it like I'm moving in for that time and will treat it as my home base so that I'm keeping your pets company, even if they're just interested in lying on the couch. I available during the school year (Late August- early June) if your pets are okay with being left alone for 8 hours. I know that sometimes pet parents worry about being too "high maintenance" with their pets' needs or quirks, but I promise that that is not a thing in my book! Whatever your pets' little habits and routines are, I will accommodate them as much as possible.

“Our pug LOVED his 4-day stay with Brenda and her family! Our little guy got along great with her two pit bulls and really bonded with their little boy. The dogs played and ran together in the fenced in yard. Our pug came home happy and ready to nap. Each day, I received a couple of photos with a brief update which I appreciated. This was a short-notice booking, and I am so grateful that Brenda was available. We will definitely arrange dog-sitting with Brenda in the future.”
