“Gianna was an amazing sitter for our cat Eli while we took a short trip out of town. Always arrived promptly at the times to feed and take care of Eli and from the looks of the pictures, he got Cody with her very quickly!! We will definitely be using her services again.”

“Magali was great, took great care of Runner and communicated with us throughout the process. We were visiting from out of town and staying in an Airbnb. She made sure our pet felt at home during her visit and sent us lots of photos. ❤️”

About: I am the go to pet sitter in my family and group of friends. My husband and I have been unable to get our own pet up to this point due to lease agreements. However, I am meant to have a pet and have lots of care to give! I love to go on long walks and it’s way more fun with a pet friend. I have experience with extremely reactive, large dogs, antisocial cats, and everything in between. I love going on walks and make sure to get out of the house every day! I don’t commute to work which frees up extra time in my day. I make sure to follow the pet parents’ lead and protocol. Our friends often have a well established routine, so I make sure to follow it to not disrupt the animal. However, when possible, I like to spoil a little! That includes longer walks, extra words of praise, and playing with their favorite toys (fetch, tug-o-war, etc).
About: I have grown up with dogs all my life. I have been around all sorts of personalities and continue to do so with our furry friends. I have spent time volunteering at the SPCA in Fresno (my home town) and have always found animals interesting and fun. I they are always a delight to be around and getting to know them is always a treat. If pet sitting at a clients house, I would start my morning off early at around 4am making sure that your fur baby is ready for the day. By the time 7:45am rolls around I am getting myself ready for work and go to my regular day job which usually lasts until 5:30pm. After 6:00pm I will be at your house and will continue to care for and be a wonderful friend to all your pets. For walking jobs it will most likely take place on my days off (generally Thursday and Friday) or from 6:00pm-9:00pm. You can set the length and route for how long walks need to be, I am more than able to keep up with your pet’s needs. My Full Time job comes first, with my schedule from 8:45am to 6:00pm. I am always willing to work with you on how to best provide my attention for your fur baby. I work well when I have a detailed checklist of things that need to be taken care of. I don’t like to wing things. I will always provide plenty of pictures and videos daily so you know that your baby(s) and your house is in good hands. My phone is always at my side so if at any point you are feeling worried or just want to FaceTime, Skype, etc. your furry companion I am more than able to make that happen. Just know for days that I work my regular day job I ask that you remain patient and I will respond as soon as I am able.
“Cassie took very good care of my cat. She shared pictures while I was gone which assured me that my baby was well taken care of. I will definitely reach out to Cassie again if I need the service again.”

“Olivia was just wonderful! My kitty immediately liked her. She was very kind and gentle with my cat, she was really responsible and managed the complicated medications perfectly. After two weeks away, my kitty was happy, healthy, and seems to be doing great. Olivia sent us photos from every visit and made sure to spend time petting and brushing our kitty and letting her roam out on the patio. I definitely recommend Olivia to anyone looking for a sitter who will treat your pet with the same love and attention that you do :-))”

“Margo was wonderful taking care of our cats over the holidays. She was reliable, communicative, and clearly attentive to their routines and comfort. We felt completely at ease knowing they were in such good hands while we were away. We would absolutely trust Margo again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for thoughtful, dependable pet care.”

About: I've been around animals since I was a baby. I have a fondness for the senior pets, they are just the sweetest! I love having playtime and cuddle time and a good walk if you're pet enjoys walks. (My grand cat walks on a leash, so we go on walks all the time). It's a scary time when pet parents are away for both pet and parent and I'll be there to make all of you at ease! I have a very flexible part-time job, so that frees me up to spend as much time as needed with your fur baby most weekdays and weekends, even holidays! I have three indoor feral rescue kitties. It took time and trust on all sides, but all three are now the sweetest cats ever! Every fur baby that has been brought into my house over the years, was either a feral I rescued off the street or adopted from a shelter. Mine are indoor only, except for when I sit on the porch. They get to come outside, but they all stay on the porch and come inside when I do.So lots of toys and enrichment is important for them. They all love to play fetch and chase the laser! Whatever your pet requires or whatever their routine is, I'm there for it. It's all about your pet and putting your mind at ease that they are in the best possible hands!
“We have been working with Melany from the start of our Rover experience, and she has been spectacular! My husband and I have variable schedules week to week, but Melany is always understanding and steps in when she can. Our 6 month Shepherd mix has loved her visits over these past couple of weeks :)”

“Gina was a gem! My cats enjoyed her presence and she made sure to engage and play with them. Followed all specifications and very communicative. Thank you Gina so much for taking care of my fur babies with the same love you’d show your own.”
“Cristina has been a huge help to my husband and me. We both work long hours, and it is comforting to know that my pets are being taken care of during the day. Cristina has pet sat several times with no issues, and we plan on hiring her more in the future.”

About: I’m new to Rover but I, like so many others on here love animals! I have 2 dogs, an 8 year old tiny yet mighty Chihuahua and a 3 year old energetic and loving Border Collie. These two crazy boys have helped me learn that no two dogs are the same but a few things that they do have in common is their need for patient, loving, and understanding care takers. Dogs are the main animals that I’ve had the opportunity to care for, from chihuahuas to German shepherds but I’ve also had some clients with fish and turtles that needed boarding as well. I currently work at my administrative job 3 times a week and I’m looking for a fun way to spend my off days! My schedule is very flexible and I’m open to working around your pets routine! Most of my pet-sitting services take place in your home, where your pets can stay comfortable in the environment they know and love. My goal is to keep their routine as consistent as possible while providing them with plenty of love, attention, and personalized care. I also provide regular walks and engaging outdoor activities to keep them physically active and mentally stimulated. Every pet is treated as if they were my own, ensuring they feel safe, happy, and well cared for while you're away.

I have a Labrador and a cat of my own, and I also regularly help care for my uncle’s 2 Huskies and 2 cats. I’m comfortable with different personalities, energy levels, and routines. I’m patient, attentive, and love giving pets plenty of playtime, cuddles, walks, and attention while making sure they feel safe and comfortable I’m a full-time college student and I also help with a daycare in the mornings, so my mornings are usually busy. However, I’m flexible with my availability when I have advance notice and I’m happy to work with your schedule whenever possible. I’ll always communicate my availability clearly and make sure your pets get the time and attention they deserve! I’ll treat your pets like my own with patience, care, and lots of love. About: Hi, I’m Greg — a lifelong dog owner and animal lover based on the east side of Napa in a quiet, country setting. I live on a fully fenced, one-acre property that offers a safe, relaxed environment where dogs can enjoy space, comfort, and freedom. One thing that’s important to me — and often reassuring to pet parents — is that dogs in my care have free flow between indoors and outdoors. My home is 100% dog-friendly, and dogs are never restricted to being outside or confined indoors. I have a large dog door, and dogs are free to move in and out as they choose. I am always present when dogs are here, ensuring they are supervised, comfortable, and able to follow their normal routines. I offer a wide range of flexible services, including dog walking, daytime care, overnight stays in my home, transportation to appointments, dog park visits, and longer outings such as hikes. I understand that every dog has different needs and energy levels, and I tailor care accordingly — whether that means active exercise, social time, or calm companionship. I’ve owned and cared for both small and large dogs my entire life and have regularly helped friends and family with walking, overnight care, and extended stays over the years. I’m comfortable administering prescription medications and following detailed care instructions when needed. At home, your dog will be in good company. I have two friendly, well-socialized dogs who are fully vaccinated and receive regular care at Silverado Veterinary Hospital. They are accustomed to interacting with other dogs and people, and dogs can join us for social outings or enjoy individual care depending on temperament and your preference. I also understand the trust involved in leaving your dog with someone else — I’ve used Rover myself when traveling and know how important it is to feel confident that your dog is safe, comfortable, and genuinely cared for. My goal is to provide a calm, attentive, and dependable experience where both dogs and their people feel at ease. If you’re looking for flexible care, open communication, and a home environment where dogs can truly feel at home, I’d be happy to connect and see if I’m a good fit for you and your dog. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine, as I am currently available full-time and able to structure my schedule around the needs of the dogs in my care. I’m transitioning from a long-term professional career in project management, which means I bring a high level of reliability, organization, and follow-through to pet care. I’m home throughout the day, available for walks, playtime, feedings, and supervision, and I can accommodate daytime, evening, overnight, and extended care with consistency and flexibility I provide a safe, structured, and supervised environment for every dog in my care. My one-acre property is fully fenced and secure, and dogs have supervised access to both indoor and outdoor spaces through a large dog door. I am present while dogs are here and do not leave them unattended for extended periods. My home is fully pet-friendly, clean, and free of hazards. I introduce dogs gradually to ensure comfort and compatibility, and I can separate dogs if needed. I am comfortable administering medications and carefully follow feeding schedules, exercise routines, and any special care instructions provided by owners. If caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect their space, maintain routines exactly as instructed, and provide clear communication and updates.
About: My goal is to create a fun and loving home away from home for your furry friend! I’ll send you pics of your pup while we go on walks and play. I'm currently working from home in American Canyon and am available during the days to care for your pup! While mainly open to walking and drop in visits, I can consider home stays for dogs I get more comfortable with. I tailor my care to each doggy’s needs and service as requested. For dog walking, I typically do 30-minute walks in the park, but can adjust based on the dog's breed, energy level, and personality!
About: Hello! I’ve been around dogs all my life. I’m kind, patient and am experienced with all sorts of dogs. Please note I do own a dog of my own that is here, she kind playful and friendly. I am currently working remotely and am home almost all day long. I take my pet on three walks a day. I also have an enclosed fenced in backyard with easy access. I have a one-level home with friendly neighbors. I am located right off route 29 & have a large fenced in backyard for your pets to enjoy!
About: I grew up surrounded by dogs of all sizes and have volunteered at shelters and adoption events like Rocket Dog Rescue and Pets Lifeline since I was a kid. Through this rescue work, I am experienced in safe new dog introductions and behavioral de-escalation. I adopted my current dog at an event I was working and raised her as my emotional support animal on my busy college campus, which taught me how to keep pets grounded in stimulating environments. She is fantastic with small dogs, so if your little ones stay with us, they will have a friendly companion. Whether you have a big breed, a timid rescue, or an independent cat, I am dedicated to providing a safe, comfortable, and loving environment for them while you are away. I just finished my masters program so I currently have a highly flexible schedule, meaning I can dedicate plenty of time and attention to your pets throughout the day. My weekends are sometimes eventful, but my weeks are free for some furry love! I live in a cozy condo in Sonoma with my dog. While I don't have a private yard, I have a beautiful porch perfect for afternoon sunbathing. Safety is my top priority, so dogs are only ever allowed on the porch when I am home and actively supervising them. To make up for the lack of a yard, I go on frequent adventures! My dog and I regularly visit the lovely park just around the corner to run and search for lizards, and we love walking the perimeter of the Sonoma Square for people watching.

Mayte is wonderful! She’s responsible, reliable, and always follows the care instructions I leave for my fur baby. It gives me great peace of mind knowing he’s in such good hands. She genuinely takes great care of him, and I really appreciate her attention to detail. I’d highly recommend Mayte to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring pet sitter!

Amber took care of my 11 yr old vizsla while I was on a work trip. He had just had surgery and was needier than usual. She kept me informed of how he was doing and went above and beyond bringing in packages and letting me know about someone coming to do service in my yard. Highly recommend Amber for her thoughtful and caring approach and will absolutely be booking with her again.

Haley was the best, our mom’s cat Joey fell in love with her ❣️ as she did with him. We would most definitely recommend her 100 times over🥰 Thank you Haley for all the love you gave our moms cat 🐈⬛ and now he get to have you your husband and a new kitty sisters love he so well deserves 🌻
My family had to go away for the weekend needed a drop in person for our dog Sammy. Megali was able to help us out and did a great job. She provided great updates and daily pictures. Our dog looked happy and we would definitely recommend Megali to our friends. Thanks again for the great service.

We had a very good experience with Kelly, she listened to what’s important to us and we felt like she communicated really well. We received a lot of feedback on how our cats were doing, interacting and behavior information. Kelly also sent a lot of photos which always helps when we’re away. We had a couple of issues with our automated litter machine and Kelly was able to resolve the issue and communicated with us to make sure everything was working properly.

Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
