I have a Labrador and a cat of my own, and I also regularly help care for my uncle’s 2 Huskies and 2 cats. I’m comfortable with different personalities, energy levels, and routines. I’m patient, attentive, and love giving pets plenty of playtime, cuddles, walks, and attention while making sure they feel safe and comfortable I’m a full-time college student and I also help with a daycare in the mornings, so my mornings are usually busy. About: I've been a pet owner/lover all of my life. I rescued and rehabilitated my orange tabby from the age of 4 weeks old, when we found him in the street close to death. I can bottle feed, give medication, and am always available for cuddles. I work from home and have a large back yard so I can walk/let your pups out all day long, and give them a great space to play and roam in. I work from home Monday-Friday, so I am available from dawn til dusk, and am also available on weekends to handle all of your pet care needs. We have a 2k sq ft home, a fenced backyard, and two cats. If I am boarding I am available to walk/feed your animals morning through night, and they will have a large yard to roam and be free in. In warmer and colder weather your animals will be inside, in either AC, or heating. Whatever the weather is feeling that day. I can walk/feed your animals in the morning, afternoon, and evening, and can take them to parks as needed. I have reliable transportation, and am a dutiful pet lover who is extremely attentive and in tune to animals.

About: I’m new to Rover but I, like so many others on here love animals! I have 2 dogs, an 8 year old tiny yet mighty Chihuahua and a 3 year old energetic and loving Border Collie. These two crazy boys have helped me learn that no two dogs are the same but a few things that they do have in common is their need for patient, loving, and understanding care takers. Dogs are the main animals that I’ve had the opportunity to care for, from chihuahuas to German shepherds but I’ve also had some clients with fish and turtles that needed boarding as well. I currently work at my administrative job 3 times a week and I’m looking for a fun way to spend my off days! My schedule is very flexible and I’m open to working around your pets routine! Most of my pet-sitting services take place in your home, where your pets can stay comfortable in the environment they know and love. About: I started taking care of dogs a few years ago and it’s the best thing I ever did. I’ve taken care of older ones who need specific medication and younger ones who are filled with energy! It’s always fun getting to know a dog’s personality which I have gotten a lot better at especially when knowing if they are uncomfortable or if they feel safe in certain situations. My experience has allowed me to make smart decisions when caring for dogs and giving them the care you would while you’re away from them:). I’m currently working part time in Walnut Creek so I have a lot of time to head over to take your dog out for a walk or potty break or even around the clock care! I update my availability weekly based off of my schedule and I’m truly flexible to make you feel comfortable and know that your dog is in the best care! When I arrive at a house I like to pay attention to my surroundings when I get in a neighborhood. Are there active people running and walking, are there a lot of dogs being taken on a walk, how’s the weather. I think all of these are really important when caring for a dog. I do the same thing in homes especially outside areas. Certain plants they should stay away from, possible exits that could be dangerous for them. Listening to what you guys to keep your dog safe is very important for me in order to build trust and for you guys to know they dog is being left in great hands!

I’m flexible and always happy to follow your pets’ specific routines, needs, and preferences. When I stay in a client’s home, I treat it with the same care and respect I would my own. My priority is keeping your pets comfortable and maintaining their normal routine as closely as possible. I make sure they receive their meals on schedule, fresh water, regular potty breaks, walks, play and enrichment, and plenty of affection and companionship. I pay attention to their individual personalities and needs, whether they want lots of activity and attention or prefer a quieter, more relaxed day. I do leave the house periodically for my own errands, walks, or activities, but I make sure your pets receive dedicated one-on-one time throughout the day and aren’t simply left alone for long periods.
