“Wow! Carlos and his wife are AMAZING!! This was my first time leaving my puppy in doggie day care and they made it completely stress-free. Throughout the day I received tons of pics of Lily playing and hanging out with her new friends. I've already rebooked another day!! Thank you so much Carlos and Claudia for all of your hard work! Trustworthy, friendly, clean...everything you'd want in a doggie day care!!!”

“Moving to a new area is always a big worry for me as I have a 16-year old dog. He has been in daycare from puppy on and there are times I need to be away and need daycare and/or boarding. Finding Jackie and Russ has been a blessing and a huge relief. They are wonderful, kind, easy to work with, answer quickly and my dog is safe, comfortable and happy in their home when I need their services. Thank you so much! An amazing find!”

About: I have always had dogs since I was a child. I currently have two small dogs who are our fur babies. I started doing this to ensure people could relax while on vacation and not having to stress about their pets care while gone. I currently work from home so I am always available for care for your pets. I stop numerous times a day for potty breaks and if more food and water is needed. Your fur baby will love a getaway at our place! Your dog will be treated just like one of the family. Please let me know if you have any special requests.

About: My very first job was for a Pet Resort in Naples, Florida when I was 14yo. I would clean out their kennels, sweep, mop, feed them and give them their medications every morning, play with them all periodically and give them their dinner before closing up every day, I've always grown up having a family dog my entire life, I was the best poop scooper then I will be moving forward :) my dogs were always the best dogs in the world to me and anyone that would meet them, so call me bias but our 3 dogs, Gelato, Cash, and Cam are some of the best dogs to this day... I'm home with the dogs full time 7 days a week Every morning around 7am I let the dogs out, feed all the dogs separately then we play, walk around the yard. I take care of the chores around the house and yard thru out the day, we typically do dinner around 5:30-6pm. I'll keep you updated with a video, and or photos at least once a day. Your little heroes will be free range thru out the house and the fenced in yard with plenty of shade and water. We treat our dogs like family so they'll be chilling between the couches and our laps. So whether your little pup is playful and energetic with the zoomies, too cute and cuddly or all of the above they will more than well entertained and cared for.

“Jennifer and her family were so welcoming of our sweet girl. We have never boarded before and were very concerned & skeptical of just dropping her off with someone we didn’t know. Jennifer made this process very easy for us and responded to text/calls promptly. She was well taken care of and we were certainly pleased. Gypsy will definitely be returning in the future. Thank you so much Jennifer!!!”

About: I grew up taking care of, owning, and helping raise all kinds of different dogs. Great Danes, puggles, pit bulls, and small dogs like terriers and shitzu’s. I have always been the one friends and family have called to look after their pets while they’re gone. I love them like they’re my own and go above and beyond to make sure they’re comfortable when their parents aren’t around! I have had the blessing of being able to work from home Monday, Wednesdays, Thursday’s, and Fridays with weekends off. The only day i am unavailable during the week is Tuesdays! I want to fill my free time with something I love! I have a very large fenced in yard and we do have one dog of our own who is extremely friendly to keep your fur baby company but if you’d feel more comfortable keeping them separate I am easily able to do that as well as he has a dog bed in my daughters room that he loves being in.
About: I have taken care of many breeds of dogs since I was young. I grew up in a house with dogs my whole life and currently own a Golden Retriever I have a fairly flexible work schedule which allows me to help out during the week! About: I’ve taken care of kittens, Cats, Puppies, Dogs, even chickens. I have done it all. I am very reliable when it comes to dog walking, because I walk my dog every day. I have a French bulldog myself, his expertise, health, and happiness is one of my main priorities. I love animals and have been loving them ever since I was a little girl. I have a huge heart when it comes to them, they are the best for comfort, and deserve to be loved by everyone. They are just the most precious little babies ever! 🫶 I am mostly free in the mornings and in the afternoons. When ever I have the time I am always on a walk with my dog or at the park with him trying to get him the exercise he needs. Cause he is a little big for his breed and needs the exercise and and to be out of the house. As soon as I wake up I take my dog out for a walk. Then I fill up his bowl with food and his other with water. Then in the afternoon when I get done school I’ll take him out again. And lastly at night I take him out for the third time. Give him food and water. He is my #1 priority as always (: I try and play with him as much as I can during the day, but I’m a busy girl so I do my best!

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
