About: I'm a teacher during the day, so my hours are flexible, especially during the summer. I'm a dog and a cat lover and would love to have some extra dog company. My two cats are used to dogs and don't mind them at all. I will go the extra mile to care for your fur babies as I would take care of mine. My first two dogs I had when I was younger, were Schipperkes named Skylar and Sampson. They were very hyper and lots of fun to walk around. I think I ended up making a ton of friends when I would take them with me because they were so interesting. That's what I like about dogs, they bring people together; love to all!
“Jessica was wonderful with Dexter and Dolce. Dexter is a senior pug and has little issues and special care instructions. Jessica followed all my instructions and took care of everything great. I will definitely will book with her again!”

“Brindle came home with a smile. Yhe only thing was his stomach is very sensitive and he came hone with diarrhea. He may have gotten into one of the other dog's food”

“Let me start this review explaining this is a dog. I just rescued three weeks ago. He is very sweet, but pretty leery of everything going on around him until he gets comfortable so I was really concerned about finding the right sitter for him, but I have to tell you I found the best! She met him right where he is and welcomed him in her home for all his little weirdness. He’s a dachshund so as I’m sure you know, he buries himself under anything he can. She let me know he was eating right away sent me more pictures than I can ever have thought I would get and kept me posted on everything. I am very grateful for her and have booked another 10 days with her the end of this month feel very safe if you’re considering her as a sitter, she’s wonderful!”

“Jennifer is so good with Teddy Bear. She takes excellent care of him. He has allergies and has to have medication 2Xs daily. She didn't mind at all. I would highly recommend her to anyone wanting a good and safe home for their fur baby to stay.”
“My dogs had the best time on their vacation with Fabiana! She sent soo many pictures and communicated throughout their time away. I'm sure they will miss all the fun they had!”

“Kelsie is literally the best!! She was so kind and friendly throughout the whole process, she made it so easy for me to be comfortable being away from my fur baby. Millie got so much love and attention while I was away, coming back home super happy and energetic. I got photos throughout the whole time and responded quickly with updates 🙂 Kelsie was super flexible with my schedule and allowed me to pick Millie up at a different time than planned, which helped my schedule out as well. All around I cannot recommend Kelsie enough and just appreciate making my time away from Millie comfortable and easy going. She will be my go to person when I need someone to watch her again! ☺️”

“Beata is not only a wonderful pet sitter but it is easy to tell she is a wonderful person. My very reactive dog connected with her right away. This gave me so much peace of mind in not only leaving Roy with someone new but making sure there was someone who was able to watch him that he liked. She sent so many pictures and videos. I always felt in the loop and really appreciated how communicative Beata was. I would recommend Beata to any and everyone I know who needs to leave their fur babies.”

“Theresa did a wonderful job and Bella loves her time there as if she was at home. The most important thing to us is that everyone was comfortable with the situation and that there was no anxiety. This is the second time she did a wonderful job for us, and we will continue to use her for Bella.”

“She is absolutely amazing absolutely super caring and very good with communication. She’s a blessing on earth and I am grateful to have had the opportunity for my fur baby to spend a couple days with her and her family. Cannot thank her enough for everything she did going above and beyond.”

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
