About: I'm a teacher during the day, so my hours are flexible, especially during the summer. I'm a dog and a cat lover and would love to have some extra dog company. My two cats are used to dogs and don't mind them at all. I will go the extra mile to care for your fur babies as I would take care of mine. My first two dogs I had when I was younger, were Schipperkes named Skylar and Sampson. They were very hyper and lots of fun to walk around. About: Welcome to Calusa Kennels and Dog Retreat. We aim to be the last dog boarding service you will ever need in the Fort Myers, Estero, Corkscrew area. Both my wife, Samantha, and I have owned dogs our entire lives. We each have decades of experience caring for dogs of all sizes, including our own dogs and other people's. I treat them like toddlers, but saying no a lot less since dogs can't speak English. They get all the loving they want rather it be on top of you, rolling over for belly rubs, if they want butt scratches or just chillin- on there own.

I have always taken care of neighbors dog as well as my family’s pets when they travel. I have experience with shar peis, Poodles, Labrador, cocker spaniels and pugs. I am used to walk my dog 2 times a day early on the morning as well as at evening when the sun goes down. I work from home so it is easy for me to manage my schedule. About: I have been a veterinary assistant for 2 years and studying to become a Veterinarian. Ive worked at clinics. Ive loved animals since I was very young, its a passion! I’m currently employed at a vet clinic therefore caring for your pets is a breeze and just as I enjoy my job I enjoy meeting new furry friends! I have many tools in case of emergencies that I know how to use thanks to my veterinary experience and a big 2.4 acre fenced yard for plenty of room!
