About: Welcome to Calusa Kennels and Dog Retreat. We aim to be the last dog boarding service you will ever need in the Fort Myers, Estero, Corkscrew area. Both my wife, Samantha, and I have owned dogs our entire lives. We each have decades of experience caring for dogs of all sizes, including our own dogs and other people's. Aside from providing any necessary care, I am experienced with training, including obedience and training bird dogs. Samantha is a nurse in the Trauma ICU and we both have experience providing basic medical care to pets. Dog boarding is our main priority and we are accepting dogs 24/7. Pet care IS our routine. We are Currently working on installing a new facility on our property which will increase our capacity for boarding. We have a spacious 6 Acre fenced property to provide endless enjoyment, keep your dog safe and two of our own friendly labradors to keep them company. Dogs enjoy access to our home as well as lots of outdoor space(pastures, front yard, fenced pool area) for playing, walks, and relaxing. We have crates available when your dog needs separation for eating, sleeping, or they just need a break from the fun. Due to the cage-free environment we provide, WE CANNOT offer services for violent dog breeds or any dogs who are known to be violent around unknown dogs.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs all my life and I had big, medium and small dogs in the past and I also had one cat. I took care of pregnant dogs, injured, spayed and neutered dogs. I have college classes Monday-Thursday I have classes during these times : @10am-3pm. I do not travel more than 25 minutes away from Immokalee. I can travel to Ave Maria & Felda. Let me know if you have any questions. I can care for your pet in my home or the client’s home, whichever the client prefers. If the client wants their pet to be in a crate, that’s fine with me too. Either way, I will take the pet on regular walks.

About: Hello my name is David and I’m currently 19 years old! Ever since i was 7 or 8 years old , I grew up around dogs and other animals. I loved spending time with them, playing with them, and helping take care of them. Being around animals taught me how to be responsible, patient, and caring. Growing up with pets made me love animals even more, and it is an experience I will always remember! Im home full time so ill be watching taking care of your pup all day and taking him put to potty every 2-4 hours! I have a Pomeranian my house dog very friendly, i will always keep your dog inside my home so he will be safe! He will only go outside under my supervision. Other than that he will be inside the home with me!

About: Although most people see this as a job, i see pet-sitting as a fun and exciting opportunity to make new friends all with their own personalities:)! Seeing as i don’t really find myself going out much now-a-days, pet sitting seems like the only right option needed to be taken way sooner. I believe in everyone having their own schedules for their babies, so i try to keep their routines to allow more comfort for all parties.

About: They pets that stay with me will be treated as part of the family for their stay. Will be exercised and have play time. As well as any medications, bathing, nail trims if needed. Any special instructions from the pets" parents will be followed to the letter. They will have open areas to play all day if they want or walks if so desired by the pet owner. Available 24/7 for text, picture or videos of their furry loved ones. I have experience with large, small, medium, bulky breeds, and toy breeds. And if you need you pet bathed or groomed before pick up just let me know and I will have prices ready for you.

About: I grew up taking care of, owning, and helping raise all kinds of different dogs. Great Danes, puggles, pit bulls, and small dogs like terriers and shitzu’s. I have always been the one friends and family have called to look after their pets while they’re gone. I love them like they’re my own and go above and beyond to make sure they’re comfortable when their parents aren’t around! I have had the blessing of being able to work from home Monday, Wednesdays, Thursday’s, and Fridays with weekends off. The only day i am unavailable during the week is Tuesdays! I want to fill my free time with something I love! I have a very large fenced in yard and we do have one dog of our own who is extremely friendly to keep your fur baby company but if you’d feel more comfortable keeping them separate I am easily able to do that as well as he has a dog bed in my daughters room that he loves being in.

About: Dogs have been my passion since early age. I‘ve been taking care of pups born in my house and rescue ones. My neighbors and friends have relied on me and my son to watch for their pups overnight, for weeks and months. We make sure they are loved in a safe environment. Night shift workers are welcome and I am happy to work with your unique schedule. While in daycare or boarding, your dog will have access to my house and yard. There are no children in the home so your pet can enjoy a peaceful stay. For an extra layer of security, every dog I care for outside of their home or yard (daycare, boarding, walks, drop in potty breaks) gets an Apple Airtag attached to their collar.

About: I have had dogs all of my life. I am adept at training even the most challenging breeds. I am comfortable with all dog breeds as long as the pet is friendly. I used to foster dogs and was active in the Humane Society prior to having kids. I now have a 3-acre fenced property that is perfect to host dogs while their owners are away. I have a lab mix (very friendly) who we love throwing the ball for and have room for more! I have a flexible work schedule and am able to accommodate pets. I have plenty of outdoor space and provide plenty of exercise by throwing the ball and going on walks. I have a 3-acre fenced property with goats, chickens, and a senior lab. There are plenty of trees and shade and lots to do. The goats and chickens are contained in another pasture. The lab is friendly and loves company. I am able to accommodate walks, crating, or any other special requests.
