“Jennifer and her family were so welcoming of our sweet girl. We have never boarded before and were very concerned & skeptical of just dropping her off with someone we didn’t know. Jennifer made this process very easy for us and responded to text/calls promptly. She was well taken care of and we were certainly pleased. Gypsy will definitely be returning in the future. Thank you so much Jennifer!!!”

About: I have had dogs and cats my entire life and have taken care of family and friends pets for about 10 years. I love all kinds of animals. I currently have a 6 month old Pomeranian named Orsola who is an energetic and sweet puppy. She loves other animals! Your pet will be in very good hands with me. I work from home and will be available to take your dogs out multiple times and keep them entertained all day as well. I am available every day. I take my dog out for walks multiple times a day and have my house divided so the dog will stay on one side with me and my dog. I can also crate your dog if that is what you prefer.
About: I am a responsible and loving pet sitter who enjoys caring for dogs of all sizes and personalities. I will treat your dog like family, making sure they feel safe, happy, and well cared for. I also absolutely love taking photos of the dogs so you will receive lots of pictures throughout the day! I work from home, which allows me to be very reliable and available for dog sitting in my home. Your dog will receive plenty of attention, care, and supervision throughout the day. I provide a safe and loving home where dogs are treated like part of the family. I supervise pets closely, keep a clean environment, and always follow each owner’s instructions carefully.
About: I’ve been an animal lover, my whole life. With my background in the Vet field and most of my time as a kennel manager, my prior history, ensures the safety and care of your fur baby. I also have pets of my own so every day I ensure that not only my pets are taken care of but yours as well. I have several family members and friends that only trust me with their pets. I have 2 seniors pets of my own and understand the difficulties that come along with it. I’m very knowledgeable on keeping logs of medication and when they are administered and ensuring they get all the bathroom breaks and play time possible. Currently for the summer time, I am home most of the week and can ensure a daily routine. While pet sitting if I do have to leave I limit my time out and I ensure there is entertainment to help with anxiety such as a radio or TV playing with a cartoon and or music videos of wildlife. This has had a positive experience for many pets I take care of. I never want to leave a pet alone for long. I have a large fenced in yard, I have three very friendly dogs (one large and two small senior dogs) they can keep your babies company. I also have crates for my own pets and if necessary for yours as well.
“Neysha and family treated my pup very well. Lots of playtime indoors and out. My pup was a weekend overnight stay. She came back in great condition, happy and content. Highly recommend Neysha!”

About: I’ve grown up around and taken care of dogs of every kind since I can remember. Neighbors, friends and family have relied on me to walk, feed and take care of their fur babies. I have a very flexible work schedule where most days I work only until 2-3pm. I love animals so much and want to spend as much of my free time as I can around them. I walk between 2-3 miles a day, and having a dog join me makes it so much better! Can’t wait to meet your fur baby
“This was the first time leaving our dogs with a professional service. They have only really been around each other but it took just a moment to warm up to the other dogs there. Great seeing them run around on the large, gated property while being watched over by dog lovers. Craig even sent pictures during the day. Our pets returned home tired after eight hours so we consider that a great job!”
About: I grew up taking care of, owning, and helping raise all kinds of different dogs. Great Danes, puggles, pit bulls, and small dogs like terriers and shitzu’s. I have always been the one friends and family have called to look after their pets while they’re gone. I love them like they’re my own and go above and beyond to make sure they’re comfortable when their parents aren’t around! I have had the blessing of being able to work from home Monday, Wednesdays, Thursday’s, and Fridays with weekends off. The only day i am unavailable during the week is Tuesdays! I want to fill my free time with something I love! I have a very large fenced in yard and we do have one dog of our own who is extremely friendly to keep your fur baby company but if you’d feel more comfortable keeping them separate I am easily able to do that as well as he has a dog bed in my daughters room that he loves being in.

Open to special requests such as if you want your dog walked at a park once a day, or kept separate from any other animals, etc. also if you’d like daily or multidaily updates and photos that can be requested. I work from home as a tailor so I’m home most of the day, no long hours away. I live alone so no extra people or strangers will be in the house or going in and out throughout the day. Close to Colonial animal hospital and Blue pearl incase of any emergency. I have a 6 foot fenced yard and a friendly small dog that is happy to play with a new friend. I try to follow the same rules they live by at home including if they’re allowed on furniture, how they’re fed, etc.
About: Hi, my name is Olivia and I have worked with a variety of animals. I am currently learning my way around puppies having already owned a senior dog, but I would love to look after many different pets. I also frequently foster dogs from the local shelter and would love to extend that experience to pet parents on Rover. I currently work from home. I do attend my college classes Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 3:30-7:30 pm. I am more so available on weekends and mornings. I have quite a few pets in my home. My cat is older and free range, a five month old chihuahua puppy who is learning crate training as well as some reptiles and smaller pets. Other than the dog and cat, everyone is contained and safe.
About: I've spent many years caring for dogs and cats through animal rescue and fostering, working with pets of all ages, sizes, and personalities. My experience includes puppies and kittens, seniors, shy and anxious pets, and animals with special medical or behavioral needs. I'm comfortable giving medications when needed, following detailed care instructions, and making sure every pet feels safe, loved, and comfortable. I understand that every pet is unique, and I treat each one with the same patience, compassion, and attention I'd want for my own. Pet care fits easily into my daily routine because I already spend a lot of time caring for animals throughout the day. I’m used to building my schedule around feeding, cleaning, playtime, and monitoring pets’ health and behavior. I’m organized and flexible, so I can adjust my day to make sure each pet gets consistent attention and care. Whether it’s daily drop-ins or scheduled visits, I prioritize being dependable and on time so pets stay comfortable and owners have peace of mind. In the owner’s home, I follow all instructions closely to keep pets comfortable in their familiar environment. I make sure they are fed on schedule, have fresh water, clean litter boxes or potty breaks, and plenty of attention based on their personality and comfort level. I’m careful to maintain their routine so they feel safe and relaxed while their owner is away. If caring for pets in my home, I would provide a calm, supervised environment, separate from my own pets if needed, and ensure they have a quiet, stress-free space with consistent care, attention, and supervision throughout their stay.

About: Hi, my name is Bre and my family loves animals. We have a 160 pound 4 year old Great Dane that we absolutely adore. He is gentle and patient and happy to be around other dogs and even cats. We also have two cats. Your dog will likely not see the cats or mice during the visit to our home, but will get to play in our fenced in yard with our dog as much as needed or wanted. Your pet will get lots of attention and love in our home. I have a part time, work from home job. I will be with your pet the entire time apart from my short walks to the bus stop (which your pup might enjoy joining). I have a fenced in yard, a huge dog bed that my dog happily shares, older kids who are gentle with animals and love them, and can happily accommodate most needs (like making sure our dogs don’t share food, etc.)
About: I have been taking care of animals since I was able to walk. I’ve worked with puppies and senior dogs. A few years ago I started to focus on training and working with all ages and breeds. I’ve typically handled large breeds like Rottweilers, pitpulls, huskies, and German Shepherds. I currently work remote, and have my gym at home. My scheduled revolves around my animals. We walk in the morning and evenings due to the current heat. I have a fenced in yard with a big a/c shed. My two dogs love friends! We like to walk a lot too. My boyfriend and I are always around our dogs as we know all play should be supervised.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
