“I was concerned about leaving the Aussie Posse with a stranger since they are absolutely not used to being around unfamiliar people and the standard size Aussie has designated himself as the house protector. To my delight Olivia handled the situation perfectly. She greeted him calmly and then basically ignored him until he and the others calmed down. The second day went better. And by day 3 they were practically old friends. One of my other dogs is shy and didn't want to eat. She changed his feeding location in order to give him space, and pretty much ignored him for a couple days. By the end of her time with us he was finishing his meal and even playing ball with her in the yard. We are extremely happy with the service she provided, would definitely hire her again and would strongly recommend her to others in need of pet sitting services. She's the BEST!!”

About: I have taken care of cats for as long as I can remember! My first kitty, Ginger, was brought into my family before I was born, and passed of old age around when I was 8. A few years later, I was able to convince my mom to let me have not only one, but two. A brother and sister, Jack and Licorice, respectively. They were my pride and joy, until recently a few years ago Jack, who out lived Licorice, passed sway, but thankfully was a peaceful, harmless death of old age. Since a child, I was always in charge of the litter box, knowing all the steps that go into ensuring its freshness and comfortability for the furry babies to use. I did have another experience later in life where I learned a lot when one of my best friends had a kitten, Bhodie that had a suddenly rare condition he could not use his back legs. With this, I would help her put diapers on him and help him pee manually until his passing. I would be so grateful to be in the presence and take care of the duties for kittens and cats, as it is something I am well experienced on, and miss spending time with so much!!

I have a 1/2 acre fenced in yard so your dog can run free (though I am happy to keep him on a leash if you are more comfortable). Dogs in my home are generally allowed to climb on furniture or sleep in the bed, but I also have crates available for dogs that may prefer to sleep in one. I have baby gates throughout my home to separate dogs as needed (for example a gate between carpeted and hard floors for dogs who might have potty problems)
About: I grew up on a 60 acre ranch in Oregon. Horses, cattle, dogs, cats, birds, pigs, ducks, geese, chickens, goats, and fish as pets. I've had a dog, cat and bird that grew up together and ate, slept and played together. Raised ducks and gesse that followed me wherever I went. Raised birds to talk and whistle songs. Had fish trained to eat from my hand and let me pet them. I've had as many as 6 dogs at one time of different and/or mixed breeds. We have a 1/4 acre fully fenced just for our 2 yr old and our dogs to run and play safely. It is difficult to leave him home when we want to go somewhere, so I know how it feels to be worried about leaving him in someone else's care. I like playing with dogs, cats and birds. Whatever their needs to make them feel comfortable while you are gone, I'm sure I can accommodate. They miss us when we are gone far more than we probably realize. I will do my best to ease their anxiety and leave them feeling at ease.
About: I've been around animals my entire life, my first dog i was 2. I personally have had 5 cats, 4 dogs, 2 sugar gliders, 1 leopard gecko, 1 Cockateil, Several Fish. About: I've spent nine years as a professional dog groomer, hands-on with dogs of every size, coat type, and temperament. That includes reactive dogs. I know how to read body language, recognize when a dog is escalating, and back off before things get to that point. If your dog is nervous, reactive, or just doesn't do well with strangers, I'm not going to be rattled by it — but I will want to hear about it upfront so we can plan the visits around what works for them. I've had dogs my whole life and currently have three of my own. My oldest is 8, so I'm well versed in senior care — joint stiffness, needing more potty breaks, the extra patience it takes. I also give her daily medication, so pills, liquids, and staying on schedule are routine for me. If your dog needs meds while you're gone, that's covered. I'll follow your routine as written, not my version of it. And I'll send photos and updates every visit so you know exactly how your dog is doing. My days are built around my animals. Three dogs and two cats keep me on a routine — morning potty break and feeding, meds for one of my dogs on schedule, walks, midday check-ins, litter box maintenance, and evening feeding and settling in. My schedule is wide open right now, which means I can build visits around what your pet actually needs instead of squeezing them into a narrow window. In your home, I follow your routine exactly as you've written it — same feeding times, same portions, same walk route, same spots on the couch they're allowed on. Pets do better when nothing changes, so I'm not going to substitute my way of doing things. Every visit: fresh water, food per your instructions, potty break or full walk, litter boxes handled, meds on schedule, and a good look at how they're doing — appetite, energy, output, anything that seems off. I clean up any accidents and leave your home the way I found it. I'll text photos and a short update each time so you're not wondering. If something doesn't look right, you'll hear from me right away, not at the end of the day. I'll ask for your vet's info and an emergency contact before your first booking so I'm not scrambling if I need it.
