“Karen was totally amazing. My dog adored her and looked so happy and content when I came home. Karen treated my dog and my home as her own and is a wonderful, honest person. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending her to anyone. Will be using her again when I go away!”

About: I grew up constantly surrounded by pets including dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, and more so I have always been connected to animals and have been pet-sitting for a long time. I am comfortable with a wide range of sizes and breeds. Beyond their basic needs, I am also comfortable administering routine medication, accommodating to each dog’s special needs, and reinforcing any preexisting training during our time together. I am currently writing my master's thesis, so I have plenty of time to keep your cats company! Since my schedule is flexible, I am able to easily move things around to best fit your and your pet’s needs. Having grown up with many pets from a young age and having experience pet-sitting a variety of dogs + cats, I am able to easily spot possible hazards and know how to create a comfortable environment for them. From timid to extroverted dogs, I know how to read their body language, respect their boundaries, and nurture a good relationship with them.
About: I’ve been the family pet sitter for years with 2 of my own dogs, Bucky 6 and Sasha 4. Looking to earn some extra cash so thought why not do it doing something I love, looking after someone else’s babies 🥰. I have my own home with a large garden and I work from home so dogs are walked during my lunch break and again in the evening for a quick run around the local park. Outside of that your doggo can relax on the couch with my two and get lots of cuddles 🥰 I work from home for majority of the week - the longest your dog will be alone is 4 hours at a stretch. I walk a lot, so your dog will get adequate exercise depending on their needs. I usually take my dogs out a lunch time and in the evenings for a quick run around the park too. I have a large fenced garden. I also have a crate that I have made cosy so if your dog needs their own space they can sleep in the crate but also happy for them to sleep on the couch. I want your dog to feel at home, this is not a kennels.
About: Hi! I’m Sofía, a huge animal lover from Mexico living in Cork. And when I say animal lover, I mean it from ants to whales 🐜🐋 Every single creature has my heart. I’ve had pets my whole life and I’ve done pet sitting before, so I truly understand how nerve-wracking it can be to leave your baby with someone new. That’s why I’d love to hear everything about them before we even start — their favourite games, their little habits, what makes them feel safe. The more I know, the better I can care for them! I’m available for morning visits and evenings from 6pm to 10pm. I can take them for walks (30 min to 1 hour), play with them, feed them, bathe them, give medication if needed, and honestly just give them all the love and attention they deserve. Park trips or any fun outing? Absolutely yes 🐶🌳 I’ll keep you updated every single day with photos and videos, and if you miss them too much, we can always do a video call so you can see your furry baby happy and thriving 🥰 I only care for vaccinated pets and I’d love to do a meet and greet first so we can all get comfortable together. Can’t wait to meet your pet! 💖 I am currently working part time near MTU, so I have plenty of availability during weekdays (mornings until 1:30PM & after 6PM) and weekends (full availability). I am the kind of person who treats pets as if they’re human so I’d introduce myself and make sure they seem comfortable with me. I like to make sure they are well feed and have enough water. Sharing photos and videos is a most to make sure I’m doing things the way you would and you also get to see your furry baby

About: Dedicated, Experienced, and Reliable Pet Sitter in Ireland – Attention, affection, safety, and basic training for your dog or cat as if they were family! I am passionate about animals and offer responsible, attentive, and loving care for dogs and cats. I have no allergies and a degree in Biomedicine, which allows me to administer medication safely and responsibly, ensuring the well-being of your pet in any situation. In addition, I have knowledge of basic training, such as "sit," "stay," "lie down," and permission commands, helping to reinforce positive behaviors and discipline in your pet in a gentle and effective way. I have practical experience gained in Brazil, where I cared for Moana, a 6-year-old Border Collie who needed full-time attention 24 hours a day, at least 2 days a week, for almost a year, developing a routine of intensive care, affection, and constant monitoring. I also cared for Bruce, a 3-year-old Labrador, taking him for 40-minute walks three times a week, in addition to taking him for vaccinations, baths, and daycare. I am dedicated, careful, and treat each animal as unique, respecting their needs, routine, and personality. Your pet will be in good hands, with love, responsibility, quality attention, and support in basic training! I make house calls by arrangement, or overnight stays as well. My pet walks last an average of 30 minutes. In case of emergencies, I contact the nearest veterinarian, notify the pet owners, or inform the family's trusted veterinarian. We can stay in touch during walks in whatever way the pet owners prefer. My schedule is as follows: I study English from Monday to Thursday in the city centre from 1 pm to 5 pm. I am available in the mornings, on Fridays, weekends, and also on public holidays. I am not working full-time or part-time, as I am fully dedicated to caring for pets. I offer pet care for both cats and dogs, including walks, visits, and general care. With my experience, especially with dog walking, I can recognize signs of danger or discomfort in pets. I am punctual and always follow the owner’s instructions carefully. I can send photos and videos of the pet if the owner is not nearby, and during walks I provide updates when I arrive and when the walk is finished. In case of any emergency, I will contact the owner immediately and, if necessary, reach out to the nearest veterinarian or the family’s trusted vet

About: I grew up surrounded by dogs and farm animals, so caring for animals has always been a big part of my life. As an adult, I’ve continued sharing my life with both dogs and cats, and I truly enjoy spending time with them. I’m a biologist, and I’ve even had the chance to help with rabies vaccination campaigns in Africa alongside specialized veterinarians for several years. Friends and family often trust me to take care of their pets when they need a hand. I love going for walks, playing, and just hanging out with animals, it never feels like work to me! I am currently learning academic english in UCC and I am able to work after classes. I am available from 2pm onwards on Mondays and Tuesdays and the whole day on Fridays and weekends. I am free to overnight if needed. I am very flexible. I prefer to care for pets at the clients home; I live in a house that already have 3 dogs and bringing a extra pet will not be suitable. I will follow all the instructions from the client conscientiously on how the pet needs to be cared. Each pet have their own ways and it is very important to embrace their needs and personalities.

About: Hello! I’m a caring and dependable dog sitter who truly loves being around dogs. Although I’m new to Rover, I grew up with my own dog and now regularly care for my boyfriend’s dog when he’s away. I also spent a month dog sitting for my friend whilst I was between jobs last year. I know how important it is to leave your pet with someone you trust, and I’ll make sure your dog feels comfortable, safe, and well looked after at all times. I work weekdays with fairly regular hours, though there can be some flexibility. During the day, I may be out for up to 8 hours, so I’m best suited to dogs who are happy to relax at home during that time. I’m available in the evenings for walks or visits, and I’m generally free on weekends with plenty of time to give your dog lots of attention. I’d aim to make pets feel as relaxed and happy as possible while their owner is away. I’d stick to their normal routine for feeding, walks, and rest time, so everything feels familiar. I’d spend quality time with them, whether that’s walks, playtime, or just keeping them company, and I’m happy to send updates so you have peace of mind.

Cork pet owners share their Rover experiences
I was really nervous to book a sitter who did not have a history of bookings on Rover, but Orla exceeded my every expectation. Not only was she accomodating when I asked her to arrive much earlier than the agreed upon time, she left our house in impeccable shape - had it not been for items in the bin I would not have known there was someone in the house. We received photos and feedback regularly, and Orla responded immediately when I asked her anything. Above all, Orla was considerate and patient with my senior girl. Kiki has an advent calender, and was thoughtful enough to ask if she can give her her daily treat. Orla was loving, patient and undestanding with Kiki's ailments and she received all her meds and supplements. Kiki is my world and I don't take her care lightly. I entrust her to Orla with the greatest ease.

Olivia is absolutely amazing. She made Skyla so comfortable and treated her the way I would. Skyla was so content with her which made me so happy and put my mind at ease. Olivia is a kind, caring lady and I would highly recommend. Amazing. Thank you so much Olivia
