About: I have grown up around all breeds of dogs from small Terrier Chihuahua cross rescues, Pekingese, Staffs to large Rottweilers, Olde English Bulldogs and Labradors. I love all dogs and seeing them have a good time wether that comes from long treks out Plassey or having cuddles and belly rubs. I am confident around all dogs and would not be a shy person in general. With my own dogs I enjoy little bits of training and tricks and rewarding them for being the best boy or girl! I am currently out of work so my schedule is completely open and I could think of a lot worse things than to be enjoying giving belly rubs and getting tail wags from a new furry friend. I would always like to have a meet and greet in a neutral place or somewhere the dog would be comfy and not feel like I am invading it's space and have a good positive greeting to get them comfortable with me. I am willing to bring the dogs on new adventures or around their usual place depending on what would suit the dog better. I will cater to each dog as needs be.

About: I’ve been taking care of pets since I was a child, so being around animals feels very natural to me. I have a Maltese dog back in Costa Rica (I really miss her while I’m studying here), which makes me even more motivated to give lots of love and attention to the pets I care for. What makes me different is how genuinely I connect with animals—I’m patient, gentle, and very attentive to their needs and personalities. I enjoy spending quality time with them, whether it’s going for walks, playing, or just keeping them company, making sure they feel safe, happy, and loved At the moment I have full availability, so I can be very flexible with pet care. From May 25th, I’ll start my English classes, but I’ll still be available every afternoon and evening for dog walks and spending time with pets I love animals, especially dogs, and I’ve been around them since I was a child. I treat every pet as if they were my own, with care, patience, and affection. I always make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and happy, and I carefully follow any instructions from the owner

About: I used to have a dog for several years who was extremely excited for walks, I've also looked after a family member's dog when they were away for vacation several times. I love taking care of extremely hyper dogs who want to play all day or run around. Currently a student on summer break, nothing else planned or scheduled. As such, I will be able to provide full care for your pet. During the school year I'll be adjusting my schedule but I still plan on looking after pets during the full year! I will do my very best to ensure the safety and care for your pet and if needed, house. I will accommodate any special request that your pet may need. I will communicate any question or issue that may happen. If your pet is boarding in my house, I should note I live with my parents, but they will not be assisting with care and assistance. I will be taking full responsibility. I will answer any questions you may have about me.

“Erin was excellent at looking after my cocker spaniel puppy whilst I was away for the weekend. He was brought on walks, fed and kept company. He was very happy when I came home and would definitely recommend Erin.”

“Jana stayed overnight for a week in our home caring for our two cats, she was incredibly professional and accommodating. She did a great job caring for our cats and looking after our home while we were away on our first holiday since adopting them. We came home to two relaxed and happy boys and a spotless home. Couldn’t recommend her more!”

About: I have been surrounded by animals my entire life. Growing up, my mother worked in a pet shop, which taught me from an early age how to understand and respect animal behavior. I am a proud owner of two dogs—a Pinscher and a small mixed-breed—so I know exactly how much attention, patience, and love small and energetic dogs need. I have practical experience caring for cats and dogs of various sizes, ensuring they are always safe, well-fed, and happy. I manage my own schedule, which gives me great flexibility to care for your pets throughout the week. I have plenty of time dedicated to daily walks, structured playtime, and making sure your dog or cat never feels lonely. Whether you need morning visits, afternoon walks, or weekend sitting, I can easily adapt my routine to fit your pet's needs. Safety and trust are my top priorities. I offer a calm, secure, and pet-friendly environment where your animal can feel completely at home. I pay close attention to safety during walks and always follow the owner's specific instructions regarding feeding and routines. To give you peace of mind, I will send regular photo and video updates so you know exactly how well your pet is doing.
“Samantha was the BEST pet sitter I could have asked for. I left in a rush and the house was sorta messy but I came home to a nice clean house and HAPPY pets! She provided updates while I was away and I never felt worried once. I even had new kittens and she was so great with having them out with the pups and keeping everyone safe and cared for. I could not recommend her enough. She is thoughtful and will love your pets as much as you! :) I even made a mistake during booking and did one day shorter than I meant to and Samantha had no problem staying the extra night. If I could give 10 stars, I would. :)”

About: I have had pets since I was a kid. And as an adult, I've taken care of dogs and cats of my family, friends and neighbours. They always used to call me to help them. Currently I'm taking an english course at Ned Collage on afternoons, Monday to Thursday. I have free time at mornings, after 5:30 pm, and full availability fridays and weekends. I try to adapt the care in relation with the place. If it's a house with yard, we go out to play. If there isn't, we could go to walk for a close park. Or maybe stay home, if pets prefer it.

“Elena looked after our St Bernard Paddy in our own home. She kept us constantly updated with photos and videos and you could tell he was being absolutely spoilt! He connected with her straight away and it was extremely reassuring to know that he was in such good hands while we were away. We would highly recommend Elena and we will definitely use her services again.”

About: I've had various experiences with dogs and cats as pets. I've been around dogs since I was young, and all my ex-girlfriends had cats. :) I'm working on a work-from-home project for a company in Brazil, and I only work at night here, having the whole day free. I live in an apartment and I also have a garden area. I also live next to People Park, which is a great area for walking dogs.

About: I consider myself very good around pets, particularly cats, whether they're playful kittens or senior cats. I take pride in being calm, patient, and reliable when it comes to animals; this goes hand-in-hand with my ability to read animals pretty well! I'm currently a Master's student at the University of Limerick! This means that I have a fairly flexible schedule, allowing me to squeeze in pet care at any time of day, without being stuck in a classroom. I rarely have plans on weekends and holidays, so I have excellent availability if you need your pets taken care of. I'm very familiar with all aspects of cat care, from maintaining a spotless litter box to keeping your cats entertained through play. I've raised two kittens myself and treat every animal as if they were a member of my own family, because I understand how stressful it is to leave a pet. My goal is to give owners peace of mind.

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Limerick choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a key safe or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest vet. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorisation form for your regular vet. An authorisation form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into your regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When contacting your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
