About: Experienced dog sitter working in a veterinary clinic. Skilled with all breeds, attentive to health and behavior, and dedicated to providing safe, loving, professional care. I work 9–6but am happy to stop by during my lunch break for walks, playtime, or check-ins. I’m fully available before 9 a.m. and after 5 p.m. for morning and evening walks, feeding, and quality cuddle time. Weekends are open for longer visits and overnight care. Home When caring for dogs in their own home, I make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. I follow your pet’s normal routine for feeding, walks, and playtime to keep things consistent and stress-free. I give plenty of attention, cuddles, and exercise, and I’m happy to send photo updates so you know how your pup is doing. I always keep your home tidy and treat it with the same respect as my own.

About: Hey! I'm Ciara, a massive dog lover originally from England and currently studying Real Estate at university in Liverpool. My family recently moved to Nenagh, so I’m only just getting to know the place. I own two Cocker Spaniels and a Pointer, so I have plenty of experience looking after dogs! I'm happy to care of your furry friends. My youngest dog Tilly is super hyper so I understand that temperament very well , whereas my oldest dog Bertie is very calm and enjoys his own space so I understand the diversity of the temperaments. I’m currently on my University summer break so I am in Nenagh till the start of September! So from early July to early September I’m available so book me now!! I’d hope to be shown around the home with instructions of a routine of what your dog(s) need and if there are any outdoor concerns for when walking them to be made aware about!

About: Hello, Conor and Gena here! We have extensive experience caring for cats and dogs across Ireland, Canada and Europe. You can see our reviews on Trusted Housesitters in our pictures, or ask us for the link. From high energy Blue Heelers to grumpy seniors, we love spending time with animals. Conor grew up with dogs, Gena with cats, and together we have fostered for the DSPCA. Gena works from home most days and Conor works as a tour guide so his schedule varies. When he's home he's home full time so lots of capacity to look after pets! We're available most weekends as well as midweek. We have experience sitting in people's houses with great reviews on Trusted Housesitters. We live in a end-terrace house with a garden your pet can enjoy and there are parks nearby, or trail runs in the Dublin Mountains if they're up for it!

FAQs for House Sitting - Nenagh

Frequently asked questions about Rover

The average cost for House Sitting in Nenagh on Rover is {{median_grand_total_num.as_currency}} per night (as of {{date}}). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of House Sitting easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for House Sitting.

Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialise in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your Eircode to find a sitter within walking distance in your neighbourhood.

House sitters can stay overnight in your home and care for your pets according to the routine you agree on before the booking.

Depending on your pets’ needs, this may include feeding, walks, play, companionship, medication, providing toilet or litter-box care, and keeping their usual schedule. Some sitters may also agree to light household tasks, such as collecting mail, watering plants, or putting bins out, but these are not automatically included.

During the Meet & Greet, discuss the sitter’s overnight schedule, how long your pets can comfortably be left alone, arrival and departure times, update preferences, and all tasks you would like to arrange. Confirm the agreed responsibilities through the Rover app before booking.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes dedicated customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement programme for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee, which provides up to €25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every sitter must complete an identity verification process before listing their services on Rover. This process checks that the sitter’s identity matches their provided documents.

Identity verification doesn't assess a sitter’s experience or suitability for your pet. To see if a sitter is the right fit, you can review each sitter's profile for ratings, verified reviews, repeat pet owner information and care style. We also recommend arranging a Meet & Greet to discuss your pet’s needs and make sure the sitter is the right fit before booking.

For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page.

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Nenagh choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a key safe or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest vet. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.

For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorisation form for your regular vet. An authorisation form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into your regular clinic.

Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.

A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who've never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover, but you're welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you've previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.

Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you're booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.

During the Meet & Greet, you'll have a chance to go through your pet's routine, medical needs and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. A Meet & Greet is a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When contacting your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
