About: I am a fully qualified veterinarian with extensive, lifelong experience handling and caring for animals of all shapes, sizes, and temperaments. Sharing my home with three dogs and two cats of my own, my daily life completely revolves around multi-pet dynamics, canine and feline behavior, and maintaining a balanced, happy household. Over the years, I have gained hands-on experience with everything from high-energy working breeds and large, strong dogs to sensitive, shy, and elderly pets. While I am not providing veterinary medical or clinical services through this platform, my professional background means I am naturally calm, highly observant, and deeply intuitive when it comes to reading an animal’s body language, ensuring their comfort, and keeping their routines perfectly on track. To suit your dogs personality and your budget, I offer two care options for our canine friends: - Premium Solo Care (Standard Profile Rates): 1-on-1 dedicated attention. Walks are entirely private, and for house sitting, I leave my own pets at home to focus 100% on yours. Ideal for reactive, senior, or shy pets. - Social Pack Option (Discounted Rates!): If your dog is social, they can join my friendly personal dogs for walks or house sitting. Because this fits smoothly into my daily routine, I apply a discounted rate to your booking before you pay. I look forward to finding the perfect set-up for your pet. My daily and weekly routine is built around animal care. Because I manage a multi-pet household and work independently, I have excellent flexibility throughout the week. My days are structured around dedicated morning and afternoon exercise blocks, feeding schedules, and plenty of time for interactive playtime and cuddles. When providing overnight house sitting, I maintain a reliable presence in your home, ensuring your pet enjoys a warm, attentive, and highly predictable routine that matches what they are used to. Safety and environmental security are my absolute priorities. As a qualified veterinarian and experienced multi-pet owner, I have a deep understanding of animal behaviour, body language and low stress handling. When on walks, I maintain control by keeping dogs securely leashed at all times, avoiding high traffic or unfamiliar off leash areas. I stay alert to our surroundings at all times, ensuring a safe, stress-free exercise environment. When caring for pets in their own home, I strictly respect the owners boundaries, ensure all gates and doors are fully secure, and adhere to their established feeding and confinement routines. For dogs joining my pack options, all introductions are done safely and gradually in neutral spaces. I am highly observant, intuitive and dedicated to creating a secure, hazard free environment where your pets can relax completely.

As a pet owner I know how important it is for you and your pet to find and feel comfortable with a pet sitter. I have references upon request and can come meet you and your pet to see if we are a good fit. About: I am Brazilian, we used to live in apartment blocks, and dogs require a lot of attention and they have a lot of energy. I used to walk my neighbours dogs since I’m 15. I also served as an overnight sitter when they went on holidays. My schedule is very flexible! I can try fitting in your routine and we can make it work :) I’m always free at night time during the week and majority of mornings too! Free on Saturday mornings and Sunday Afternoons. At home, my dog Cookie is part of the family. I like to ask the dog’s/owner’s schedule, so the pet doesn’t really get impacted with the change in the routine. I like to give a lot of attention and show that I’m present to the pet at the moment. Lots of walks, maybe movie nights, biscuits and play time.
“I was really nervous to book a sitter who did not have a history of bookings on Rover, but Orla exceeded my every expectation. Not only was she accomodating when I asked her to arrive much earlier than the agreed upon time, she left our house in impeccable shape - had it not been for items in the bin I would not have known there was someone in the house. We received photos and feedback regularly, and Orla responded immediately when I asked her anything. Above all, Orla was considerate and patient with my senior girl. Kiki has an advent calender, and was thoughtful enough to ask if she can give her her daily treat. Orla was loving, patient and undestanding with Kiki's ailments and she received all her meds and supplements. Kiki is my world and I don't take her care lightly. I entrust her to Orla with the greatest ease.”

House sitters can stay overnight in your home and care for your pets according to the routine you agree on before the booking.
Depending on your pets’ needs, this may include feeding, walks, play, companionship, medication, providing toilet or litter-box care, and keeping their usual schedule. Some sitters may also agree to light household tasks, such as collecting mail, watering plants, or putting bins out, but these are not automatically included.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss the sitter’s overnight schedule, how long your pets can comfortably be left alone, arrival and departure times, update preferences, and all tasks you would like to arrange. Confirm the agreed responsibilities through the Rover app before booking.

Every sitter must complete an identity verification process before listing their services on Rover. This process checks that the sitter’s identity matches their provided documents.
Identity verification doesn't assess a sitter’s experience or suitability for your pet. To see if a sitter is the right fit, you can review each sitter's profile for ratings, verified reviews, repeat pet owner information and care style. We also recommend arranging a Meet & Greet to discuss your pet’s needs and make sure the sitter is the right fit before booking.
For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page.
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Midleton choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a key safe or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest vet. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorisation form for your regular vet. An authorisation form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into your regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who've never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover, but you're welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you've previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you're booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you'll have a chance to go through your pet's routine, medical needs and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. A Meet & Greet is a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When contacting your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
