About: Hi! I’m Daniela, a dedicated and reliable dog walker with a lifelong love for dogs. Since I was a child, I’ve provided full, loving care for my own pets, until I had to leave them with my parents in my home country when I moved here. That experience made me even more committed to treating every doggie like my own, giving them the attention, exercise, and fun they deserve while their families are away. I also know how to tailor walks to each dog’s energy level, personality, and needs; whether it’s a brisk power walk, relaxed sniffari, or playtime. My schedule is very flexible, so I can easily adapt to your routine. We can work the perfect time that suits your schedule as well. I’m overly cautious with safety and well-being (always double checking leashes, water, weather, and surroundings), but I make sure every walk includes plenty of fun, mental stimulation, and love.

About: I am a fully qualified veterinarian with extensive, lifelong experience handling and caring for animals of all shapes, sizes, and temperaments. Sharing my home with three dogs and two cats of my own, my daily life completely revolves around multi-pet dynamics, canine and feline behavior, and maintaining a balanced, happy household. Over the years, I have gained hands-on experience with everything from high-energy working breeds and large, strong dogs to sensitive, shy, and elderly pets. While I am not providing veterinary medical or clinical services through this platform, my professional background means I am naturally calm, highly observant, and deeply intuitive when it comes to reading an animal’s body language, ensuring their comfort, and keeping their routines perfectly on track. To suit your dogs personality and your budget, I offer two care options for our canine friends: - Premium Solo Care (Standard Profile Rates): 1-on-1 dedicated attention. Walks are entirely private, and for house sitting, I leave my own pets at home to focus 100% on yours. Ideal for reactive, senior, or shy pets. - Social Pack Option (Discounted Rates!): If your dog is social, they can join my friendly personal dogs for walks or house sitting. Because this fits smoothly into my daily routine, I apply a discounted rate to your booking before you pay. I look forward to finding the perfect set-up for your pet. My daily and weekly routine is built around animal care. Because I manage a multi-pet household and work independently, I have excellent flexibility throughout the week. My days are structured around dedicated morning and afternoon exercise blocks, feeding schedules, and plenty of time for interactive playtime and cuddles. When providing overnight house sitting, I maintain a reliable presence in your home, ensuring your pet enjoys a warm, attentive, and highly predictable routine that matches what they are used to. Safety and environmental security are my absolute priorities. As a qualified veterinarian and experienced multi-pet owner, I have a deep understanding of animal behaviour, body language and low stress handling. When on walks, I maintain control by keeping dogs securely leashed at all times, avoiding high traffic or unfamiliar off leash areas. I stay alert to our surroundings at all times, ensuring a safe, stress-free exercise environment. When caring for pets in their own home, I strictly respect the owners boundaries, ensure all gates and doors are fully secure, and adhere to their established feeding and confinement routines. For dogs joining my pack options, all introductions are done safely and gradually in neutral spaces. I am highly observant, intuitive and dedicated to creating a secure, hazard free environment where your pets can relax completely.

About: Hey there! My name is Ciana, 28, and I'm both experienced and qualified with animals. I have obtained a level 6 QQI in Canine Training & Obedience, Canine Training Instruction, and also worked as a stable hand for many years caring for horses, dogs, and farm animals. Through my work in a stable I've obtained standard qualifications in animal First Aid and Red Cross (just in case!) I absolutely adore dogs and cats and am constantly surrounded by them, and friends who are out of town frequently leave their animals in my company, and I'm glad to have them! 🐶 I only do sitting when I am totally available! So your dog will never be on their own, and as such can enjoy their time with me without having to be alone in an unfamiliar environment 😊 Your dog will be staying in a lovely safe estate with many green spaces, and will be walked along the scenic greenway running from Passagewest to Monkstown or Mahon. I have a fenced in garden so they will have the freedom to explore off-leash, and no part of my house is off limits 😊

About: I am an animal lover and I'm not afraid to admit that my dog is my best friend. I enjoy the outdoors and with an energetic Jack Russell who loves his walks and spins in the car are a must. Dogs give us nothing but love so the least I can do is show them love & care when they stay in my home. I live with my semi retired uncle who loves having the company of a dog in the house and I also rent a room to students so the dogs staying with me will never be on their own too long. I have a front garden & enclosed back garden. I also live close to walkways so they will have plenty of exercise. I run a calm and comfortable house. Dogs in my care can come to relax and chill out or play and run around with my little terrier. I give the dogs the run of the downstairs areas of my home so they will not be confined to small spaces or just one room.

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or toilet breaks occurred, for doggy day care, home visits, and dog walking services. You can also message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available by email or chat if you have concerns.

Look for sitters who highlight multi-pet expertise or check for verified reviews from other Midleton pet parents with similar pet households.

Every sitter must complete an identity verification process before listing their services on Rover. This process checks that the sitter’s identity matches their provided documents.

Identity verification doesn't assess a sitter’s experience or suitability for your pet. To see if a sitter is the right fit, you can review each sitter's profile for ratings, verified reviews, repeat pet owner information and care style. We also recommend arranging a Meet & Greet to discuss your pet’s needs and make sure the sitter is the right fit before booking.

For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page.

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Midleton choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a key safe or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest vet. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.

For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorisation form for your regular vet. An authorisation form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into your regular clinic.

Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.

A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who've never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover, but you're welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you've previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.

Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you're booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.

During the Meet & Greet, you'll have a chance to go through your pet's routine, medical needs and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. A Meet & Greet is a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. On Rover:

  • 75% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 73% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 83% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When contacting your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
