About: I’m a passionate pet lover from Waterford. I grew up on a farm where we always had dogs around (Labradors, Collies, and the like) giving me a lifetime of hands on experience with animals of all kinds. My partner, on the other hand, grew up with smaller dogs, like Westies, and has always had a deep connection to pets. When we moved to Canada 7 years ago we started fostering and looking after our friends dogs and after a year or so we got our first dog together, our beagle, Bean. Bean has brought so much joy to our lives, and now we love opening our doors to other furry friends whenever possible. As an active couple who love walking, hiking and running, we’re more than equipped to keep up with any energetic dog and ensure they get plenty of exercise and mental stimulation. We pride ourselves on being flexible when it comes to pet care. We’re more than happy to take dogs as many times as needed as Jack works from home. Our routine involves regular walks, playtime, and plenty of love and affection, so your pet will feel right at home with us. We typically go for a walk each morning with our dog and another one after work along with a potty break before bed. Jack working from home means there is always someone there to care for any pets. Our dog Bean is crate trained so we are used to crate training but are happy to look after dogs who are not. We live on a farm so getting out regularly is a part of our routine.

I’m comfortable with dogs and cats of all ages and am happy to provide updates and photos throughout each visit. I work from home on Mondays and Tuesdays, giving me great flexibility for morning, midday and evening visits those days. I’m an early riser so morning walks are no problem! On Wednesdays and Thursdays I’m available mornings and evenings, and on Fridays I’m free from 1pm onwards. Weekends I have good availability too. I offer pet sitting and drop in visits at your home, so your pet gets to stay in their own familiar, comfortable surroundings which I find keeps them much more relaxed and settled. About: I've had a multitude of pets growing up, I did work in a pet shop and dog groomer as an assistant. I am confident with my abilities with dogs. I have 2 dogs at home, one large and one small, so I am well aquatinted with their needs. Any temperament and needs are completely welcomed and accommodated I have a pretty open and easy going schedule, I am on summer break before I go to college so a pet care job would be perfect as I have lots of free time to care for them. In the next year I am hoping to go and do an animal handling course so I would love to get some more experience in before then. Since I have animals at home myself as well as a large family housing you're pets isn't something I'm currently accommodating, but I am more then open to any other kind of service I can provide.
