About: I have owned 2 dogs myself a King Charles and a border collie. My collie was a rescue who was very nervous and anxious so I am great with nervous dogs. I also help with my dad’s large golden retriever who is a senior dog, and I love being around any dog big or small no matter what breed. I am currently unemployed and available 7 days a week for day time dog sitting or nights in the owners property. I am available daily for dog walking also. I have a fenced and gated back garden that is spacious for dogs to run around and play, and a big field where all the neighbourhood dogs are walked and play together. I live close to the nature park and many nature trails. I am good with nervous dogs and dogs of all breeds as I have taken care of staffs, golden retriever, labs, rotties, westies and the list goes on. Your pet will have a playmate also

About: I took care of my own golden retriever Emma until she passed at 16 years old. I love dogs and I care for them like there are my own. I understand how to care for senior dogs because of my own personal experience. Each dog is special and they are family. I also have house watched for puppies as well. I am a remote freelance graphic designer so my daily and weekly routine are very flexible. I don’t have a normal 9-5 so I can be there for your pets. I can’t care for the dogs at my home but I can come to yours. I am responsible and trustworthy. I will treat your pets with the best care.

About: Full-time animal lover hoping to help you take care of your pet! I have a great deal of experience pet-sitting in other people's homes all over Ireland for up to 5 weeks while they are away. These pet-sits have included various animals including dogs and cats to birds, fish, and reptiles. They also included rescues and animals with medical regimens, so I am well used to providing care for animals with additional physical or psychological needs. I am a psychologist by trade, and believe I am equally as attentive in spotting early signs of distress in animals. I love to hike and do jiu jitsu, so and am well able to walk any number and size of pet. I know how much exercise some pets need, so am more than willing to take your pets on longer walks or hikes of up to 5-6 hours. I have taken my own and friend's dogs hiking several times in the past, and they always have the time of their lives! I have a lifetime of animal care behind me, growing up on a farm with cattle, sheep, pigs, dogs, cats, rabbits, fish, and chickens. My dad is also an animal pregnancy scanner, so I am used to all sorts of animals! I used to work part-time for a pet farm, gaining experience in the care of everything from alpacas to emus, goats, rabbits, geese, and ferrets. My family had an old english sheepdog growing up, so I am well-used to basic grooming. My aunt used to keeps bees and I helped her growing up, crystalising this as a dream of mine for the future. I live in a shared house, so unfortunately cannot offer services in my home. However, I am more than happy to take your pet for a walk somewhere close to your home, to drop-in to your pet while you are away, or stay in your home for 24-hour care. Happy to meet you and your pets before we start working together to ensure that we are a match. Feel free to message me and we can discuss what plan will work best for you and your pet :) I am currently working part-time as a psychology researcher with flexible hours. I then provide pet services with my remaining hours, or if you want me to stay at your house I might bring my laptop with me. When in your home I will respect the needs of your pet, as outlined by you. I am happy to stay for longer durations and beyond Waterford if needed.

About: I’m a passionate pet lover from Waterford. I grew up on a farm where we always had dogs around (Labradors, Collies, and the like) giving me a lifetime of hands on experience with animals of all kinds. My partner, on the other hand, grew up with smaller dogs, like Westies, and has always had a deep connection to pets. When we moved to Canada 7 years ago we started fostering and looking after our friends dogs and after a year or so we got our first dog together, our beagle, Bean. Bean has brought so much joy to our lives, and now we love opening our doors to other furry friends whenever possible. We started doing Rover sits in Vancouver and now that we are back in Ireland we plan to continue doing so. Our home is a pet-friendly environment, and we understand how important it is to provide a safe, comfortable, and engaging space for pets. As an active couple who love walking, hiking and running, we’re more than equipped to keep up with any energetic dog and ensure they get plenty of exercise and mental stimulation. We pride ourselves on being flexible when it comes to pet care. We’re more than happy to take dogs as many times as needed as Jack works from home. Whether your dog is a high-energy puppy or a more laid-back adult, we are committed to catering to their individual needs. We also have experience with both young and senior dogs. Our routine involves regular walks, playtime, and plenty of love and affection, so your pet will feel right at home with us. We understand the importance of sticking to your dog’s routine, so we’ll make sure to follow any specific instructions you provide, whether it’s regarding feeding times, medications, or special care instructions. Being away from your pet can be stressful, which is why we aim to provide a loving and reassuring environment to give both you and your dog peace of mind. We are happy to send updates, photos, or videos to keep you in the loop with what your dog is doing. We look forward to the opportunity to meet your dog and ensure they have a fantastic time while in our care! Thank you for considering us, and we can’t wait to help care for your furry family members! I work mainly evenings but my fiance Jack works from home. Although my schedule can be flexible. We typically go for a walk each morning with our dog and another one after work along with a potty break before bed. Jack working from home means there is always someone there to care for any pets. Our dog Bean is crate trained so we are used to crate training but are happy to look after dogs who are not. We live on a farm so getting out regularly is a part of our routine.
