About: While I don't have any professional experience, I have lived with animals my whole life including dogs, cats, budgie, fish and others. I love taking great care of my pets and making sure they receive lots of love, Ill do the same while taking care of yours.🤍 I am just finishing my marketing studies so I am fully flexible with my schedule from early morning till late evening, any day in the week. Just like with my cat, I will make sure your pet is fed, bowls/trays are cleaned and they get the attention they need. I pay attention to any signs of health issues and I am always available to let you know how they are doing. I strongly believe the owner gets to make every decision about their pet, so I will make sure to listen to your instructions and follow them out strictly. While I do own a pet, I am not able to provide the service of caring for one in my home due to landlord restrictions.
“Lina is fantastic. She was able to come to our house while we were away for a weekend and look after our lovely cat Liam. She travelled for a visit each day to feed and mind Liam, and he loved her company. She was also so kind and watered some of our plants. I would strongly recommend Liam for all of your pet sitting needs!”

“This was our first time booking somebody to take care of our cat Pip whilst we were away for a week. We found Karla through the app and she has been brilliant. Karla updated us everyday with pictures and we were so happy knowing he was well looked after. We would definitely book Karla again for future holidays, she gave us great peace of mind.”

About: I am an animal lover of dogs and cats with over 25 years of pet ownership. I had my first pet dog as a youngster at 10 years old. A sheepdog. I love Cats and Dogs equally. From my experience with Cats, it is important that they are cared for properly in the absence of their owner when on holiday or away. I offer house visitation for both cats and dogs in Waterford city. I understand the importance of Cat care from having a deaf cat previously. Understanding the signs of Cats when they become stressed is also important in order to spot issues early. Ensuring they are safe, secure and taking notice if they are off their food or fluids. I am very observant of pets and understand clear communication with the owner is important especially when away. House visits and cats staying in situ suit some cats best. From once or twice daily visits I can suit the owners needs and their pets needs to keep them company and entertained. Dogs need care and other aspects depending on the age, breed and temperment to ensure their welfare and happiness when owners are away, therefore I offer walking if required when you are away in addition to house visitation. I love walking my own dogs on the Greenway or in Tramore. But I can work with you to decide where and when exercise is needed. I can also take Cats in my home and on occasion small dogs that are good with other dogs and kids. All pets must be vaccinated, flead and wormed. My aim is to provide safe, responsible and reliable support for owners when they are away or travelling. As a pet owner I know how important this is when out of the country or unavailable. Feel free to reach out to me if you need your furry or feline friends minded or have any questions. Emmet. I work in a an office setting so enjoy spending time outside of work walking with my dogs or spending time with animals or simply been out and about at the seaside As a owner of 2 dogs currently I understand the care they need and the joy they bring to us. Having an experienced pet owner is critical especially when someone is away or on holidays.

About: I’m a passionate animal lover and proud dog owner based in Tramore, Co. Waterford. Friends and family have always trusted me to care for their pets, and I treat every animal like my own. I’m comfortable with dogs and cats of all ages and am happy to provide updates and photos throughout each visit. I work from home on Mondays and Tuesdays, giving me great flexibility for morning, midday and evening visits those days. I’m an early riser so morning walks are no problem! On Wednesdays and Thursdays I’m available mornings and evenings, and on Fridays I’m free from 1pm onwards. Weekends I have good availability too. I offer pet sitting and drop in visits at your home, so your pet gets to stay in their own familiar, comfortable surroundings which I find keeps them much more relaxed and settled. I’m a dog owner myself of two Samoyed’s so I understand how important routine and consistency is. I’ll always send photo updates so you have complete peace of mind while you’re away.

About: I have had many dogs and adore each and every one of them! They are a woman’s best friend! I rescued my dog and she even sleeps on my bed. I’m currently between jobs and looking to do something I love! I have always wanted to work with animals but I thought now I finally have the chance I have a fenced back garden and a furry friend to keep your animal company! I am a neat freak so if you want me to stay in your home you will not have to worry about it being messy when you come back

You can find what you need to review a sitter on their profile before booking with them. Each sitter’s profile on Rover shows verified reviews, identity verification, and ratings to give a glimpse of how their previous visits went. You can also use the Meet & Greet to walk through your home, identifying which areas, like your bedroom, are off-limits or not. Requesting details of your home security through the app can also be a good way to have your sitter keep you updated about your home.
If you have security cameras or smart doorbells, Rover asks that you disclose them to sitters before you book.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When contacting your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
