About: Hello, my name is Samuel, I'm great with all animals and I connect with them on a profound level. I pay close attention to details and always prioritize the well-being of any animal in my care. They hold a special place in my heart, and I wholeheartedly devote myself to their happiness and comfort. Rest assured that I will provide the best care for your beloved pets. I genuinely cherish the time spent with them. They will receive the utmost love, attention, and nurturing they deserve. At this moment, I am available full time. I am available for last minute calls when needed, but would love to establish a customer base At this moment I'm unable to provide home sitting services. However if I am to pet sit in your home I am happy to provide references and to meet up beforehand to ease your mind

About: I love cats and dogs! I always had pets growing up and they’ve all been loved members of the family 💖 I currently have a 1.5 year old terrier/ collie cross who loves having other furry friends around to play with! I work from home so your dog won't be lonely during the day and will be well-cared for and made to feel part of the family while they're here. I have a large, fenced-in back garden and lots of toys for the doggos to play with. We're centrally located in Kilkenny so easy for drop-offs and collections. Every morning I meet a group of doggie moms along the canal walk where the doggies get to run and play with their friends. I take Lola and whoever I’m minding out again to the park next door in the afternoon/ evening for another run and play. I have a large, fenced in garden and Lola is always delighted to have another furry friend to play with! I have a large and a small crate if your dog is used to being crated. Dogs are always on the lead when we’re leaving the house to get into the car.
“Barbra was fabulous. I really enjoyed the cute pictures she took of my girl daily. And she was flexible enough to extend her visits an extra day when my flight home was canceled. Really a life saver! Thank you!”

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was a boy dogs of all size my wife and I run a dog grooming business and dog walking is another part of our service I have retired from the army and at the moment my wife and I have a grooming business so my day is dedicated to the care of all animals in my care My house is fully fenced off and a very safe environment for all my pets I also live close to the castle park in Kilkenny for nice walks
About: I’m mad about dogs and all animals, I come from a farm and have been taking care of animals my whole life, from dogs to cats and cattle I have two dogs in my home house and also take care of my elderly neighbours dog. I bring them for walks and teach them simple tricks to keep them entertained Right now I’m renting in the town so I don’t have dogs in my current house but at home on the farm we have fences to keep the dogs safe
About: I grew up with big dogs — my dad loved Caucasian Shepherds. As an adult, I always wanted a dog, but working full-time made it tricky, so my partner and I got a cat instead. After we split up, the cat stayed with him, and I’ve been missing having an animal around ever since. Now I love taking care of my friends’ dogs when they go on holidays. Pet sitting and dog walking is a great way for me to spend time with animals and get to know different breeds. I believe every one is different, just like people. It’s all about being patient and finding that connection. I’m currently studying and free most of the day — feel free to share your preferred schedule, and I’ll do my best to fit in. I can play with, feed, clean up after, change litter boxes, and brush your pet’s fur. I’m happy to send you videos so you can see how they’re doing. If you’re busy, I can also take your pet to vet appointments. Most importantly, I’ll follow your instructions and make sure your pet is happy, comfortable, and well cared for.
About: I recently moved to Kilkenny to improve my English, but don't worry—I speak 'Dog' perfectly! 🐶 My background is in Interior Design and working at The Disney Store, which means two things for you: I am extremely detail-oriented and I have very high standards of responsibility. I am an active person who loves long walks in nature. I don't just "watch" pets; I engage with them. Whether your dog needs a 5km run or just a gentle stroll and a belly rub, I adapt to their energy. I am comfortable with dogs of all sizes and I am happy to follow strict instructions regarding diet or medication. I currently have full availability 7 days a week, including mornings, afternoons, and weekends. Since I am not tied to a 9-to-5 office job right now, I can offer your pet my undivided attention. I never rush walks and I can be flexible if your plans change last minute. Your pet becomes my priority for the day. Your home is safe with me. As a professional Interior Designer, I have a deep respect for people's homes and spaces. I guarantee to leave your house exactly as I found it—clean, tidy, and secure. Safety First: I always keep dogs on a leash unless we are in a secure, fenced area. I will send you daily photo updates and GPS maps of our walks so you have total peace of mind knowing your furry friend is happy and safe.
“Lina is fantastic. She was able to come to our house while we were away for a weekend and look after our lovely cat Liam. She travelled for a visit each day to feed and mind Liam, and he loved her company. She was also so kind and watered some of our plants. I would strongly recommend Liam for all of your pet sitting needs!”

Cat owners share their Rover experiences - Kilkenny
This was such a good first experience getting a pet sitter, Katie was lovely both with us and the kitties, she was great at communicating from the start and even coming here a couple weeks before to meet the kitties. We could see our Kitties through our pet camera and through all the updates she sent us and saw how well they were cared for, we made Katie aware that one of our cats was a bit nervous and she spent so much time caring for her until she felt comfortable to come out and get her meals as normal, we came home to very relaxed kitties and a tidy home, couldn't ask for more to be honest

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When contacting your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
