About: Hi. I'm Vanessa. I'm a Cork city apartment based person and live with my husband, Samvit. We are both massive dog lovers. We often care for our friend's beagle while she's away. I have grown up raising dogs, budgerigars, aquarium fish, and farm animals in India, and am looking to reestablish that bond and responsibilty here in Ireland. I currently work from home and have a flexible schedule. I’m patient, attentive, and know to adapt to each dog’s personality. They will be another family member chillin at home. My woof - besties through childhood were German shepherds, daschund and several Indian mongrel rescues, including Tasha who had 8 puppies all given away to beautiful homes with beautiful people. I offer a warm, attentive, and safe environment for your pets. You’ll also receive regular updates and photos, so you can feel reassured while you’re apart. From my side: 1. I can easily accommodate medium to small sized dogs, pups to adults. Older dogs are especially very welcome. 2. Available Mon-Fri and most weekends. Ideally, Day care is 8am - 5pm | Boarding 12pm - 12pm. 3. I can offer short stays, cuddles, and 20-30 min walks 3 times a day, morning, noon and late evening /or tuned to their schedule. 4. I need to know in advance if your pet has any medical issues or allergies and if any special care is required. I am very disciplined with dog diet and will only give them what they are allowed to eat. Just pop me a message if you have any request and I'll try and help! * I do a meet and greet so that your pet gets to assess me in front on you. About: I’ve been the family pet sitter for years with 2 of my own dogs, Bucky 6 and Sasha 4. Looking to earn some extra cash so thought why not do it doing something I love, looking after someone else’s babies 🥰. I have my own home with a large garden and I work from home so dogs are walked during my lunch break and again in the evening for a quick run around the local park. Outside of that your doggo can relax on the couch with my two and get lots of cuddles 🥰 I work from home for majority of the week - the longest your dog will be alone is 4 hours at a stretch. I walk a lot, so your dog will get adequate exercise depending on their needs. I usually take my dogs out a lunch time and in the evenings for a quick run around the park too. I have a large fenced garden. I also have a crate that I have made cosy so if your dog needs their own space they can sleep in the crate but also happy for them to sleep on the couch. I want your dog to feel at home, this is not a kennels.

Ludmila is amazing! From the first moment we met her we knew our dogs were in good hands. The way she looked after them and listened to everything we said so that she could get to know each dog individually is something we really appreciate. While Ollie and Nala were with Ludmila they had the opportunity to be with other dogs in a safe space which was great for them. We really trust Ludmila and are delighted with the way she always keeps in touch and sends pics and videos. We are very lucky to have found her :)

About: Back home in China, my family is a full-blown menagerie! I have extensive, hands-on experience caring for a variety of animals: · Large Dogs: I am the proud owner of a gentle giant—a beautiful Bernese Mountain Dog. I am completely comfortable with large breeds, their energy levels, and their specific needs. · Small Dogs: We also have a lovely small dog, so I am well-versed in the care and attention smaller breeds often require. · Cats: Our family also includes two cats, so I am very familiar with feline personalities, their need for play and affection, as well as respecting their independent moments. This diverse experience has taught me to understand and adapt to the unique personality and routine of every individual animal. What I Offer: I am a responsible, patient, and trustworthy professional living alone in a quiet, pet-friendly home in Cork city centre. This means your pet will receive my undivided attention and care in a safe, secure, and comfortable environment. My services include: · Pet Boarding: Your dog or cat will be welcomed into a clean, warm, and loving home. I live close to several parks perfect for walks and playtime. · Daily Visits: I can pop in to feed, play with, and provide company for your pets in the comfort of their own home. · Dog Walking: Energetic walks tailored to your dog's age, breed, and energy level around the city centre and local parks. I will ensure to follow all your instructions meticulously regarding diet, medication, and routine to keep your pet happy and stress-free. You will receive regular photo and video updates so you can enjoy your time away with complete peace of mind. I would love to meet you and your wonderful pet to see if we are a good fit! Please feel free to message me with any questions. I am now a Chinese teacher at Ucc. I only have classes on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays, so I am free for the rest of the time. My approach to pet care is built on a foundation of trust, routine, and abundant love. I understand that every pet is unique, so I meticulously follow the owner's instructions to ensure their companion feels safe, happy, and secure, whether they are staying with me or I am visiting their home. When caring for pets in MY home (for Boarding or Day Care): · A Safe & Loving Environment: As a responsible professional living alone in a pet-friendly city-centre home, your pet will receive my undivided attention. My home is a clean, secure, and comfortable space where your pet is treated as a cherished guest. · Maintaining Routine & Diet: I stick to your pet's familiar feeding schedule, diet, and portion sizes precisely. Any required medication will be administered on time, as directed. · Ample Exercise & Play: Living near several parks means your dog will enjoy regular walks, playtime, and stimulation tailored to their energy level, breed, and age. · Constant Companionship: Your pet will rarely be left alone for long periods. They will have a constant companion in me, ensuring they feel settled and never lonely. · Clear Communication: I will provide you with regular updates, including photos and videos, so you can see your furry friend is happy and thriving while you're away. When caring for pets in a pet owner's home (for Drop-In Visits or House Sitting): · Respect for Your Space: My priority is to care for your pet with minimal disruption to their normal routine and environment. I respect your home as if it were my own. · Following the Usual Schedule: I will adhere strictly to your pet's typical schedule for feeding, bathroom breaks, playtime, and any medications. Familiarity is key to reducing their stress in your absence. · Exercise & Enrichment: For drop-in visits, the focus is on quality time—whether that's a brisk walk, a energetic play session in the garden, or simply providing affectionate company and cuddles. · Home Security: I ensure your home remains secure, and I am happy to take in mail, water plants, and perform other small tasks to give your home a lived-in look. · Peace of Mind: After each visit, you will receive a detailed update confirming that your pet is happy, has been fed, and that everything in your home is secure. Regardless of the service, my goal is to provide a stress-free experience for both you and your pet, giving you complete peace of mind that they are in capable and caring hands.

About: I am an animal lover and I'm not afraid to admit that my dog is my best friend. I enjoy the outdoors and with an energetic Jack Russell who loves his walks and spins in the car are a must. Dogs give us nothing but love so the least I can do is show them love & care when they stay in my home. I live with my semi retired uncle who loves having the company of a dog in the house and I also rent a room to students so the dogs staying with me will never be on their own too long. I have a front garden & enclosed back garden. I also live close to walkways so they will have plenty of exercise. I run a calm and comfortable house. Dogs in my care can come to relax and chill out or play and run around with my little terrier. I give the dogs the run of the downstairs areas of my home so they will not be confined to small spaces or just one room.

About: Hey, my name is Emma, and I’m a 21-year-old college student with a lifelong love for animals and aim to work with animals in my future particularly in animal welfare, conservation and behaviour.
I’ve grown up around dogs, cats and horses, and love being surrounded by animals and ensuring they're safe, happy and healthy🥰 I take pride in providing the same level of care your pet would receive at home. However, I only take vaccinated pets into my home to maintain a safe and healthy environment for all.
I’ve also had the privilege of...
💚Volunteering with the Irish Guide Dogs -where I helped with basic training, socialisation, and caring for puppies in their early development stages as well as older dogs for temporary boarding which included an online learning course and in-person training.
💜Volunteering with Dogs for the Disabled -in their holiday relief role where I cared for dogs in training during a short period of time when their full time owner couldn't.
🧡Volunteering at Wildlife Rescue Centre -where I worked in the centre helping feed, clean and care for the various animals and their enclosures along with rescuing injured, sick or orphaned wildlife and bringing them to the vet/centre.

💙Cat and Dog Protection Association -where I answer calls from the public which can vary from concerns of stray cats or dogs or help with people who are looking to surrender their pet along with giving information on their trap neuter and return scheme or how they could become a fosterer.

❤️Autism Assistance Dogs Ireland -I help out in their doggy training school where I supervise playtime, help with co-operative training, feeding, walking and just ensuring the dogs enjoy their day at school and all their needs are met. Each experience was an incredibly rewarding that offered the different opportunities which deepened my understanding of canine behaviour, managing and supporting wildlife and the importance of consistency, patience, and trust when working with all temperaments and different species.

 Summary about me:
💕Huge interest in animal welfare, conservation and behaviour
 💕Geography student in UCC
💕Reliable, trustworthy, empathetic, caring and professional
💕IGDB Volunteer 💕Wildlife Rescue Centre Volunteer
 💕CDPA Volunteer
💕IDD Volunteer
💕AADI Volunteer 💕Basic Dog Training Skills
💕Love all animals from Dogs & cats to reptiles, fish and small furry friends
💕Flexible with my times and accommodating to you and your pets needs
💕Always actively learning the best ways to improve your pets experience through new and upcoming research As I am a current college student, my routine varies from week to week. It allows my schedule to vary and sometimes study from home and therefore allow me to provide company for pets. My main income if through my part-time waitressing gig, averaging on 2 shifts a week. I am also in a great position where if really needed I have the flexibility of trying to swap shifts with others and rearranging my working roster and therefore can try my best to accommodate for minding pets (with sufficient notice and availability). About: I’ve always been an animal lover and caring for dogs has been a natural part of my life for many years. I currently run a small home-based dog boarding service, where I provide a safe, loving and cozy environment for small-breed pups and dogs. Each dog is treated like family, with lots of cuddles, playtime and attention to their unique needs. I understand how important routine and comfort are for dogs, especially when they’re away from home, so I make sure to follow your pup’s/dogs schedule closely, from mealtimes and walks to play sessions and nap times. I also keep owners updated with photos, videos and messages so you can feel at ease while your furry baby is with me. Whether it’s daily walks, overnight stays, daycare or just keeping your pup company, I promise to give them the same love and care that I give my own. 🐾💛✨ I’m a full-time mum and also a proud pet parent myself, so I’m home and available to care for your furry baby throughout the day. Pet care naturally fits into my daily routine—I love having dogs around and making sure they get the attention, playtime, and cuddles they deserve. I have a fully fenced yard and a gentle, friendly Bichon Frise called Frosty who loves company. I only board small breeds so everyone feels safe and cared for. Pets are always supervised and I follow each owner’s instructions closely—whether it’s feeding schedules, walks or special needs. My goal is to create a warm, stress-free environment so your pup/dog feels right at home🐾🐶
