About: I’m a medical student at VCU on summer break and missing my own pets at home. I’ve walked neighborhood dogs and fostered shelter dogs and cats for several years and have volunteered walking dogs at Richmond Animal League (RAL) for the past year. I’m responsible, hardworking, and dependable and looking forward to meeting you and your pets! I’m a medical student on summer break for the next couple months and will be doing research remotely from home so my schedule is very flexible and I can adapt my timing to yours. I’m comfortable caring for your pets in my apartment having fostered pets here in the past or coming to your home. I’ve worked with shy dogs, energetic pups, playful puppies and everything in-between! I’m comfortable with a range and have also given medications and done some training if that’s something that needs to be continued.

About: I’m going into my junior year at Virginia Tech with years of hands-on experience caring for dogs, cats, and small animals. I’ve grown up with pets my whole life and currently have a yellow lab at home in Richmond named Cheddar so I’m very comfortable with all ages, sizes, and energy levels. About: I am a certified veterinary assistant.I graduated from a vet science class where we perform animal care on the pets we have: bunnies, cats, guinea pigs, grooming dogs, etc. I used to work at Dogtopia so I know how to handle dogs. I will be available all day on weekdays so I can spend nights in the pets home for overnights if necessary . Margot was absolutely amazing. We got constant updates and photos which we so appreciated. When we got home the house was just as we left it and so clean. She left the guest room so clean which we didn’t except given we’ve had other pet sitters who have left the house very dirty. My doggie absolutely loved Lidiya. When she dropped him off back home I could just see the connection they made! He didn't want to leave her! I could not have felt more comfortable while away knowing he was in good hands. Lidiya sent me numerous pictures of my senior pooch snoozing snuggly in her home. She and her family are animal people, dogs, cats, horses. This was the perfect scenario. I'm so grateful. Highly recommend this responsible, gentle soul.
Upon meeting Charly, I quickly felt confident that I had found a great sitter for our 2 border collies and our home who would not only take good care of them but also could handle the quirks that come with the breed and the quirks that come with a big old house. Boy, was I right. There was a huge thunderstorm while we were gone and the neighborhood lost power. When she was unable to reach me, Charly remained calm, spoke with a neighbor who finally reached me. (Poor reception where I was staying.) I talked Charly through our blackout protocol. She handled it while keeping the dogs calm in the storm. She is calm, confident and clear-headed. I hope to engage her again for our travels. Thanks Charly!!!
Sophie ("Zoe") was great. Very responsible and took great care of my dog Ghost. I would use her in a heartbeat. She kept me informed and kept my house clean and secure. She stayed for five nights and Ghost was obviously happy in the pictures she sent to me during her stay.
