About: I’m going into my junior year at Virginia Tech with years of hands-on experience caring for dogs, cats, and small animals. I’ve grown up with pets my whole life and currently have a yellow lab at home in Richmond named Cheddar so I’m very comfortable with all ages, sizes, and energy levels. I’ve pet-sat for friends, neighbors, and family including overnight stays, feeding routines, daily walks, and giving pets lots of attention and playtime. I’ve also cared for fish and hamsters, so I’m confident with small-pet needs too. I treat every pet like they’re my own! I’m happy to come to your home for pet care. Since I live in a college house most of the year, I actually prefer visiting your home where your pet is most comfortable. You can always text me to check my availability, and I’ll work around your schedule as best as I can. I have a car, so getting to your home is easy, and I’m happy to take your pet on walks or follow their normal routine. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on keeping their routine as familiar and stress free as possible. I make sure doors are secure, food and water are refreshed, and any instructions you give me are followed exactly. I’m respectful of your space, and I treat your home with the same care and responsibility I treat your pet. Whether it’s walks, playtime, or quiet company, I make sure your pet feels safe while you’re away!

About: I’m a medical student at VCU on summer break and missing my own pets at home. I’ve walked neighborhood dogs and fostered shelter dogs and cats for several years and have volunteered walking dogs at Richmond Animal League (RAL) for the past year. I’m responsible, hardworking, and dependable and looking forward to meeting you and your pets! I’m a medical student on summer break for the next couple months and will be doing research remotely from home so my schedule is very flexible and I can adapt my timing to yours. I’m comfortable caring for your pets in my apartment having fostered pets here in the past or coming to your home. I’ve worked with shy dogs, energetic pups, playful puppies and everything in-between! I’m comfortable with a range and have also given medications and done some training if that’s something that needs to be continued.
