We were able to meet up with her twice, once so that she could see our dog, and the second time so that Mozzie could check out her place. This was the first time since adopting him over a year ago that were had ever boarded him somewhere, so we were understandably nervous about it, but Julie proved to be a great sitter. She sent us status updates and pictures while we were away, so that we could know what Mozzie was up to. When we came to pick him up, she also helped us with tips and ideas on how to help Mozzie socialize with other dogs. We could definitely tell that Mozzie was in good hands. Definitely recommended!”

About: Hi! My husband and I have both had dogs since we were young kids. We currently have a senior dog (female) and a puppy (male 11months). Both are Australian shepherds. We also have two kids (6 and 8). We have a lot of experience with dogs of all ages and needs. :) We have a fenced in yard and our puppy would love someone to play with during the day. I am home with my kids pretty much all summer, so I’m available most of the day. Dogs will need to be good with other dogs and young children as well as spayed/neutered. We have a puppy, so I am in and out all day to take him outside and play with him. I am also home with my kids all summer, so we are at home a lot! I have a fenced in yard and two friendly dogs to keep your pup company. They are both crate trained, although our senior dog is left out when we leave. I have an extra small crate (or you can bring one). We love dogs and would treat yours like our own.

Milo is an 8 month old puppy still learning house training and making amazing progress. I found him at a rescue in Philly when I was visiting March 2026- love at first site! He clicked so well with my German Shepherd mix Winter, that I rescued in June 2025. I know the Richmond area well and love taking dogs to new locations, like dog parks or the river. Since I am an athletic individual I can offer rigorous exercise for even large active dog breeds. I am very trustworthy and responsible, I schedule my time wisely and am always on time for scheduled appointments. I do work full-time, but am often available on evenings and weekends. I would love the opportunity to get to know you and your dog! I work full time, so I am usually busy during the day. However, I am often free on evenings and weekends and love walks and drop in visits. I do not bring dogs to my own home, because I have older goldens at home. But I love to come spend time where your dog is comfy!

She took care of our geriatric Golden for three days while we were away, then stepped up for an additional four days at the last moment due a a medical emergency, even buying addition food and supplements as needed. She is clearly a dog lover, and our Golden was very comfortable and well cared for with her and her two dogs. Excellent communication and lots of photos completely set our minds at ease at a time when we didn’t need any additional worries.
