About: When in the care of my partner and I, pets are enriched and have plenty of opportunity for activity. If your dog enjoys swimming, I can take them to a nearby creek to play. I have a large yard for playing fetch, or just hanging out, and a spunky lab mix that is happy to play tug-o-war. I've always had dogs and cats, and for a short time, pet rats (they're lovely!). I come from a long line of animal lovers and continue that legacy. I have a flexible job that allows me to work from home, so I am flexible with pick-up and drop-off times unless otherwise communicated. I am in RVA most weekends as well. I have a fenced backyard and a dog and 2 cats. The cats have been around other dogs, and Eddy the dog loves other dogs- he has lots of energy to share!

About: I come from a family of dog lovers! I have had family dogs in my home for over a decade, including our current 2-year old golden retriever, Cooper. I have also kept dogs, of all shapes and sizes, for my friends and family over the years. I’m currently a stay at home mom with a few side hustles, but you will find me at home most days! We love to spend time in our fully-fenced in backyard. I have a fully-fenced in backyard with plenty of room for running and playing! My dog Cooper loves having other dogs around to play with and is more than happy to keep your fur baby company. I am happy to crate your dog or have them left out, whatever works for your baby!

About: I have been caring for dogs and cats since I was a kid. My first dog was at the age of 6 and since then I haven’t been able to live a life without animals. My passion as a child was to be a vet, that did not end up happening but the love for animals has never faded. I had the pleasure of working for an animal hospital in my 20s, and worked with a rescue during that time and fostered abused and neglected dogs. I have had as many as 4 dogs of my own at once. I have dog sat and cat sat for many of my friends and family over the last two decades. Animals are a big part of my heart and there is nothing I love more than being with them and caring for them! I work from home so it is easy for me to care for your pup! Lots of walks and afternoon potty breaks are easy to do. They’ll get all the attention they need and more. Whatever your pup or cat needs I’ll be happy to provide. My own dog gets several walks a day, lots of treats puzzles for her mental stimulation and of course a quiet environment for relaxing. I am happy to adjust whatever fits the needs of your fur baby.

About: New to Rover but not new to the job! I’ve been taking care of pets for over 10 years, with boarding, housesitting, and walking. I grew up with dogs and cats in my home and am an avid animal lover. I have had dog/clients for over a decade and love documenting my time with my different petpals (if you’d like picture or video updates from your fur baby while you’re away). For boarding or doggy day care in my apartment, my partner also lives here and is a prior vet tech (so I have an extra pair of hands at home). I’m currently working part time remotely and doing online school from my home, so I’ll have plenty of time for pet visits! I love getting outside and going for long walks if your pet needs exercise. I also love just chilling and doing homework if your animal needs companionship! When caring for an animal, I structure my entire routine around their needs and well-being—they are always my top priority. Having grown up with both dogs and cats, I understand the worry that comes with being away from a beloved pet. My goal is to provide a reliable, nurturing, and trustworthy environment for your furry family member—whether in your home or mine.
