“Amber is amazing! She is so considerate, updating us daily about our pups. If there was any concern, she reached out. Our dog Finny ended up having an injury after running in our back yard. She called us immediately and when she couldn’t get a hold of us, she texted and sent a video of the injury, offering to take him to the vet. She provided updates afterwards regularly. We felt at ease knowing they were in such good hands. We HIGHLY recommend her!”

About: I have owned dogs my entire life and held many dog-sitting jobs throughout college. I am very intuitive and know the Capital Region well, so I am able to find the best walks and treatment specific to your pups! I enjoy being active and am excited at the opportunity to keep your dog healthy and active as well. I also have a car so getting to and from your home will be done with ease so I can focus my time on caring for your dogs with long walks, playing and feeding. I work remotely, so I have some flexibility with scheduling. I am open to dog-sitting at your house as I have done for up to two week periods of time for families with many dogs throughout DC. I work remotely, so I’m able to be very attuned to your pup and their needs! On demand walks and cuddles during the day are my favorite. I have a fenced back yard, but am open to staying at your home as well. We can work out what is best for your pup.

About: I grew up on a ranch in Vail Arizona and I have extensive experience in caring for animals of all breeds and species! I have two cats and two rescue dogs (chihuahua and border collie) along with one snake and a bearded dragon. I understand that our pets are our family—often feeling like our own children—and I carry this sentiment with me when I care for other’s pets as well. I’m a part-time substitute teacher (I used to teach English in New Orleans before taking a break!) and I have a flexible schedule with summers and holidays off. I have a fenced yard and I welcome pets who get along with cats into my home. My two dogs can stay with my sister (who is a vet tech and only a call away) if there’s ever an issue with dogs who may not like to share space with other dogs. When caring for a pet in your home I appreciate detailed information and I will never hesitate to reach out if I am curious or confused. If ever an emergency occurs and I cannot get ahold of you my judgment as both a mother, an educator and a pet owner will dictate my actions.

About: I have always loved animals and I have my own as well. I take care of my senior pup along with caring for friends and families pets as well. Always a good time with extra love to give. Reliable and fun. I work five days a week at a marina however, I am always open at night and on my days off I am more than happy to care for your animals. To care for my own pet I take him out multiple times a day, I walk him, feed him, bathe him, and so much more but with other animals it varies, depending on the instructions given by the owner is what I will do along with extra love.

About: I'm very calm and patient with all animals. My style is to allow them to warm to me and once they are comfortable, I enjoy playing and running around with them or giving cuddles. When we go for walks, I'm careful of other dogs and humans.. I have owned a dog most of my young adult life. I can't have one now because of where I live, but I care for my mom's Shepard and I care for my friends' dogs regularly when they go out of town or just can't get home to let them out. And sometimes I just drop in to play a game of catch or take them out for a hike. I have a cat, and he is my world. I'm currently working full time from home, so I can make time to play with your pups! I'm available for boarding on weekends and after 5pm on weekdays. I live in an apartment, but there are sidewalks all along the development for easy walks and parks and trails nearby. I have a cat but he has his own big room to play and sleep in if your pup doesn't get along with him (he's not aggressive at all, just trepidatious around strangers)

About: I have been caring for dogs for about 15years. I have fairly open availability to spend quality time with your best friend. Years of care experience in an animal shelter and in home care has given me a lot of knowledge on how to keep your best friend happy. I have availability to drop in and let your dog out and feed them. Also to take them for walks when your schedule gets a little hectic. I will take care of any breed, age and size of dog. If you have more than one pup I can take care of them too. If you are going away for a weekend or a week long vacation I am available to stay in your home too. I am currently a stay at home mom so I have fairly open schedule with availability. About: This will be my first time besides my own dogs I had, I do have one dog of my own currently, so I’m not fully inexperienced, I have had many dogs before, one boxer, one mixed, one Chinese shar pie, and puppies, I know puppies can be harder to take care of or at least if there not potty trained though. I’m currently not working as of right now, hopefully this could be a great opportunity for me to get into taking care of dogs besides my own, right now I have one Chinese shar pie, he’s maybe about near 2 years old and 2 month old. I had him since maybe near February of 2023 or whenever though. He’s great with other animals too. I have a yard, not fully fenced in tat the moment though, my own dog is great with other pets and would like to play with dogs, etc. too. I could take dogs on walks, bath them, spend time with them, give them food and water, etc.
