About: I grew up with 2 dogs and now I have a 1 year old chocolate lab puppy who just graduated from training. I am very familiar with training strategies as I just went through them including potty training, leash training, etc. I would love to extend love and care to your babies as well! About: I grew up in a home that was always full of animals...both big and small. My mother has been a dog person since before I was born, so from an early age, I was attending obedience and agility classes with her, and even participating in a few competitions. By my early teens, I had become the go-to pet sitter for friends and neighbors, regularly caring for their dogs. For five years, prior to 2020, my teenage daughter and I volunteered at an all-volunteer, no-kill animal rescue, where we served as dog walkers and cat caretakers. That experience gave me hands-on skills with a wide range of breeds and temperaments. Until recently, I lived with two dogs of my own (my ex-partner’s pups), and I still frequently care for my mom’s two dogs when she is away helping my sister with her young children. In addition to dogs, I have years of experience fostering and caring for cats, so multi-pet households are second nature to me. Animals have always been a central part of my life, and I love getting to know each pet’s unique personality while providing them with the care, comfort, and consistency they deserve. My tabby cat, Lavender, and moved to Bellefonte in the spring of 2025, and I look forward to meeting your furry friends! I am a part-time school teacher and am available most weekday afternoons and evenings, as well as most weekends. This availability may change based on school activities, but I will be sure to communicate with you as soon as I know! I strive to carefully read and review, then mindfully follow all care instructions left, so that your pets are stimulated, safe, happy and healthy! About: I’ve always had family animals that I’ve adored and that got my foot into working in rescue! I’ve work with extra small to extra large dogs, a lot of cats and some other species. I feel very comfortable with behavioral differences in different animals. I’ve worked along side very talented vets and techs that have taught me a lot about medical care, as well. I work part time at home with a dog and two cats. I take physical and mental enrichment very seriously for all animals. Any animal I’m caring for comes first everyday. A tired dog is a happy dog. I have friendly animals at home, a large crate if needed and a separate room set up for shy animals to warm up to the other animals. We have a large (not fenced) yard but we take many long walks a day to keep up with physical needs!

I currently live in an apartment with 3 other girls. Caring for your pet at my apartment may not be feasible, but is something I am definitely open to talking about, if needed!

This was our first time using Suki for our cats and she was GREAT! She said she would do evening feed at 5 pm and morning feed at 6:30 am and she arrived at exactly those times. She fed everyone, changed waters, cleaned litter boxes, cleaned up cat bowls from prior feeding and left everything exactly as she found it. We would absolutely recommend Suki and will use her as our petsitter again!
Once again Samantha was great and I was thankful I was able to book her somewhat last minute! She made sure my cat got all of her medicine, which is not always an easy task, and went above and beyond by bringing in mail/ packages and watering some of my plants (which I did not ask her to do).

Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
