About: I raised my dog Rocky from when he was a puppy, so I’m experienced in caring for pets of all ages. I’ve pet sit many times before learning about Rover. Every pet is different, and I’m prepared to do my best to meet your pet’s individual needs. I believe a routine is incredibly beneficial to pet care, which is why Rocky is part of my routine. If your pet is staying with me they will be feed and walked first thing in the morning. Potty breaks throughout the day for pets with more frequent needs. Then second feeding and walk at approximately 6:30 pm. If I’m sitting at your place, if your pet has its own routine we will follow it, if not I will adopt a routine based on the environment. Previously, my house was a 3 dog 3 cat house. After some relationship changes, it’s just me and Rocky. Rocky is completely submissive, although he’s a Goldmation he very much embodies golden retriever energy, and gets along with pets of all shapes and sizes (like I said, 3 cats) When sitting at your house you can be sure that both your home and pets will be cared for. Cleaning is one of my favorite activities, so you might find your house is even a bit more tidy than you left it. And Rocky is very low maintenance and stays home when I pet sit, meaning that if you want me to spend as much time at your place as possible, I can do that.

While away, she kept us informed daily of happenings and handled anything that came up with our pup—and our dog is no perfect angel but she handled every curve ball he threw. Julissa was also very flexible with us regarding pick-up times and understanding of our personal situations for which I am grateful. Once we picked up our dog, he seemed happy and energized and I could tell he enjoyed his stay as well. I would definitely recommend Julissa to anyone for future dog sitting. For drop-in visits and walks, I focus on maintaining consistency with feeding schedules, bathroom breaks, exercise, and any specific instructions you provide.
