“Hannah went above and beyond taking care of our pup! We booked very last minute and she didn’t mind at all. She sent many pictures, videos, and updates throughout the day. Our pup loved playing with her dogs as well! I felt very confident when she showed me around, she has a very safe environment complete with lots of doggy toys! 😉 She was also very flexible with drop off and pick up time! Would highly recommend her to anyone who needs a dog sitter!”

“Julissa is the best. Our minds were at ease while away on vacation, knowing our sweet dog Roxi was in a safe and loving home. Roxi definitely got spoiled while she was with Julissa. We will definitely be reaching back out to Julissa, the next time we go out of town.”

“First time ever leaving my dog with someone I didn’t know, and she made me feel really comfortable trusting her with my boy and she did a splendid job of updating me and communicating with me.”

About: I’m new to the sitting side of Rover, but I’m not new to having dogs in my house. I’ve boarded lots of dogs over the years, seniors, puppies, anxious rescues, and the wild ones who need to run it out. I’ve also used Rover as a client myself, so I know how nerve-wracking it is to leave your dog with someone new. I have 20 years of hands on dog experience and I’m comfortable with medication, special diets, potty training, crate training, and senior care. Every dog gets one on one attention and I tailor care to their temperament. Lots of play for active pups, quiet company for seniors, and patience for nervous dogs. Your dog will be treated like family. I’m home all day, so I adapt to what your dog needs. Early riser who needs a 6am potty break? We’re up. Senior who needs meds at noon and a short stroll? Done. High energy pup who needs 3 play sessions in the fenced yard? We’ve got it. I build the day around your dog’s normal routine. No rigid schedules here. Fenced yard. Constant supervision outside. Slow intros only. Winston may be a professional friend maker, but I still let the dogs set the pace. Between my 20 years with dogs and all the pups I’ve boarded, I’m comfortable with meds, special diets, seniors, puppies, and high needs dogs. Just tell me if your dog is a door dasher, resource guards, or hates thunderstorms. I’ll follow your house rules exactly. Crates, furniture, feeding, all of it.
“Absolutely wonderful home for our dog. She always has a great time with other pups in the house. Feels happy to see loads of pictures when you are away from your dog.”

“Lee was fantastic! Bella absolutely loves her, and it gave me so much peace of mind knowing she was in such good hands. Lee kept me updated with plenty of pictures, which I really appreciated, and it was clear Bella was happy and well cared for. She's reliable, caring, and goes above and beyond. I highly recommend Lee to anyone looking for a trustworthy pet sitter. We'll definitely be booking with her again!”

“Tristen did a great job keeping Ms. Allie. She is known for hiding. She found a hiding place underneath Kristen's bed but she her space and she could see the food and water. After she received a treat and everything was good. Kristen sent clips show she was petting her. I will use Kristen again for Mrs Allie. I got a chance to relax on my trip and not worry about Ms. Allie.”

About: I’ve been professionally pet sitting for 8 years and have cared for animals my entire life. I have experience with dogs, cats, horses, exotic birds, fish, and small animals so I’m comfortable with a wide range of personalities, routines, and care needs. I currently offer: • Dog walks • Drop-in visits • Cat & small animal care • Daytime house sitting/check-ins • Select boarding • Medication administration • Feeding, potty breaks, playtime, and general pet care I’m especially good with anxious pets, senior pets, and animals who need a calm, patient approach. I’m dependable, communicative, detail oriented, and always happy to send photos. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness always come first.
“Jessica took such good care of my spoiled pup who is never away from me. It’s nice to know Bella has a place to stay if we need one. Being able to stay and sit with people on the couch and get covered up with her blanky at night and sleep next to people is much better than being boarded somewhere.”

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
