Pet care experience
Home Full Time + Fenced Yard 🐾🐶
I’ve had dogs for over 27 years. My parents got our first dog, Skipper, when I was 3 and I’ve loved dogs ever since! I’ve watched lots of friends and family’s dogs over the years. Puppies, seniors, nervous dogs, and the crazy ones who just need to run around for a while haha. I’m comfortable with medications, special diets, potty training, crate training and senior care. Every dog is different, so I’ll try to keep things as close to their normal routine as I can. I’ve also used Rover as a client myself, so I know how stressful it can be leaving your dog with someone new. I will send lots of pictures and updates while they are staying with us, your pupper becomes part of our family. My three year old loves to read to the dogs we watch, and when your dog comes over we say that “Winston’s best friends are coming over.”

Ratings and reviews
Christina was very nice and kind throughout the process. She accommodated our late night drop off and pick up. My dog enjoyed staying with her family and their pup.

Christina was wonderful! She communicated with us all weekend and sent lots of photos. Our pups came home happy and well cared for!

Schedule
I’m home most of the day, so I’m able to be pretty flexible with your dog’s normal routine. If they’re used to going out early, eating at certain times, or taking medication on a schedule, I can usually work around that. I don’t have a super strict routine for the dogs I watch. I mostly just follow what they’re used to at home and go from there.

Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
We have a fully fenced, tall backyard and I’m outside with the dogs when they’re out. My beagle Winston LOVES other dogs and thinks everyone is his best friend 😂 but I still like to take introductions slow and let the dogs get comfortable with each other. I’m happy to follow whatever rules your dog is used to at home, whether thats using a crate, staying off furniture, sleeping in a certain spot, or eating on a specific schedule.
Pets
A typical day
It really depends on the dog. We’re in and out of the fenced yard throughout the day, and Winston is always happy to have someone to play with. Some dogs want to run around and play, some would rather hang out and nap, and we’re good with either. My three year old also loves reading books to the dogs we have over, which is usually pretty cute haha.

- The biggest thing I like to know is how your dog does around children. My kids have done really well with all of the dogs we’ve watched, but I still want to make sure your dog is comfortable around little kids too. I also like to know their normal bedtime routine, do they sleep in a crate or on a dog bed. Anything else like feeding schedule, medications, food or toy guarding, separation anxiety, or little quirks is always helpful too.
