1. Ashleigh K.

“Ashleigh is a fantastic communicator, she asked all the questions to make sure my boys were taken care of during the long weekend. My dogs are big, so I am always worried that someone may be intimidated by their size. Ashleigh found out there is nothing better than love from a 110-pound lap dog. Would definitely recommend!”

2. Tracie B.

6. Randi R.

“Randi was so easy to work with. She immediately set up a meet and greet. She was personable, responsible, and reliable. She took care of my animals and home extremely well. Sent picture updates of my babies and even offered to stay longer if I was going to be returning late. 5-star from beginning to end. Thank you, Randi!!”

7. Michael T.

“Great person and my dogs seemed happy. Would use him again. Gave regular updates without blowing me up. Was attentive to the dogs and gave them walks.”

8. Samantha M.

“Our first time using Rover/Samantha was great. We have two 7 month chihuahua and just didn’t want to put them in a kennel this young and break all the training we had done. We had her house sit and stay with our fur babies. We were able to enjoy our vacation without worrying about them. She sent pics and updates often. We will definitely be using her again. Thank you ?”

9. Anna W.
“My sister, Anna, is an amazing person who not only loves and cares about pets, but she feels the same about PEOPLE..... and will do anything in the world for anybody. She goes out of her way to go above and beyond for everybody, but most especially for animals. Even as a child, feeding and caring for the family's two german shepherds, she never exhibited any fear or reticence in interacting with them. Growing up, she actually once aspired to be a veterinarian before becoming a microbiologist. Many times she has rescued turtles out of the street to keep them from being hit. She has a very caring and dependable nature, and often cat-sits for her son and daughter-in-law. Once while on vacation in the Dominican Republic, she excitedly swam with some dolphins and actually picked up a large stingray!! (much to all of our chagrin!!) Anna gravitates to all animals and she lovingly approaches and cares for them without fear. It is for these reasons that I HIGHLY recommend her as a more-than-suitable candidate for one of your pet-sitter positions. I promise, you will not be disappointed.”

10. Brooklynn S.

“Brooklynn was fantastic! She sent daily updates and photos and took special care of my older pup. Would happily book with her again!”

11. Kenzie F.
“I definitely recommend kenzie! She loves all animals and treats them as her own! Her home is open and loving. She has watched my dog multiple times for me and the love my dog has for her definitely shows!”

12. Tara S.

About: Hello! My name is Tara Shewmaker. My Mom and I have decided to open our home to care for dogs! I do work, but my Mom, Becky, is retired and flexible. We work together to give your fur babies the best care possible. I have grown up with a house full of animals and my Mom does transport for dog rescue organizations. We have 2 mature dogs at our home that are older, but still very active! Remy, age 7, is a Shar Pei mix and is a kind soul even when dogs with less than nice manners act out towards him. He is the best mentor dog that gets along with everyone and all animals. Oscar is our 14 YO Maltese mix, he loves to sleep and bark. Let me know what your doggy needs are and I will do my best to accommodate you! I work, but my Mom, Becky is retired, and she is subsequently flexible and available. We work together to give your dog the benefit of in person care. Regular business hours are preferred but not mandatory. We strived to meet your dog care needs and requirements while giving your babies all the love and attention they deserve. We may ask a lot of questions but the more we know, the better we can customize the care for your dog. We have a medium backyard with a privacy fence. We also have a doggy door to a large deck for lounging. Of course you are welcome to visit and view our home at drop off or by appointment before.

13. Haley S.
“Haley was wonderful with our dog Mamba! She is very prompt and punctual. She was great at communicating with us as well! Couldn’t recommend her enough!!”

14. Tristin W.

“Tristin just sat with our dogs for the week. She was very sweet and the boys were in great spirits when we got home last night. She was also a super-nice house guest and even washed towels, etc. our Pomeranian is older and has to take insulin shots and is also deaf and blind. Our lab is super shy. Needless to say, they have some very special needs and Tristin was able to care for them no problem. She can really roll with the punches. We look forward to having her care for our doggies again soon.”

15. Diamond H.
“Diamond is great. She make sure my dogs have everything they need when we go out of town on short trips. We never have to worry about the house and we never have to worry about our dogs being alone or not taking out on time. She gets the job done and very well at that I will always recommend Diamond she is the best.”

16. Angela S.

“Angela is a hardworker and motivated to finishing the task at hand. She has excellent customer service with a can do attitude. She's a good keeper.”

17. Danielle D.
“I have known Danielle for 2 years now. I have never known a more compassionate, kind, caring, and loving person towards animals. She loves every animal she comes in contact with and every animal loves her. I have 3 dogs myself. Every time I go on a trip, Danielle is the person I call. Each one of my dogs has such a different personality and needs. Danielle knows how to differentiate between each personality and love the animal for who they are. She knows different techniques on how to handle all animals. She has such a passion to care and love for all animals.”
