Joe did a very excellent job taking care of my pup while I was away, she was always in communication sending me texts and pics and letting me know exactly what was going on and I definitely appreciated that. I would recommend her to anyone else and I would use her again.

About: I am a very responsible and loving pet owner. Growing up around cats and dogs my entire life, I understand that each pet has their own unique needs. I will treat your fur baby as if they were my own. :) I am currently a med student, so my schedule is very flexible. I hope to work with you to best meet you and your pets needs. I currently have two cats, so providing care for your pet in my home may not be the best option depending on your pets comfort level. If I were to care for your pet in your home, I will respect your home and ensure your pet is cared for in any way needed.

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life. My animals are my children and I will treat your animals just the same. I have been a pet sitter since I was a teenager and I worked at a dog boarding/daycare facility for 3 years. I am also experienced in giving medication if that is needed. Your baby’s will be in good hands! I do work Monday-Friday but I’m close to home and go home everyday on my lunch break and check on the pups! I also have cameras that I use to check on them. I will treat your dog like my own. My animals have their own bedroom so they will be put up while your dog explores the house and gets used to the surroundings. And then if comfortable I will introduce my animals. I will make sure they are fed, watered, and have plenty of potty breaks and playtime.

About: Hi pet parent! 🐶✨ Looking for someone who will treat your dog like family (and not just a quick drop-in)? You found her. 💁‍♀️🐾. Hable Español también si necesitan ayuda en español. I’m a dog loving sitter with real, hands on experience not just someone who “likes animals.” I’ve worked in an animal shelter for 2 years and fostered dogs for over a year, so I’ve handled everything from wild zoomies to shy, nervous pups who need extra patience. Big dogs? ✔️ High energy? ✔️ Anxious or shy? ✔️ Strong personalities? ✔️ (honestly… my specialty 😂) I know how to read dog body language, catch subtle behavior changes, and handle situations calmly and confidently. Your dog isn’t just safe with me they’re understood. 🐾 AND YES! CAT PARENTS, YOU’RE COVERED TOO 🐱 While dogs are my main focus, I’ve also worked with cats in the shelter, so I’m comfortable with feline care as well. I understand their boundaries, personalities, and routines I just won’t pretend I’m not a little more obsessed with dogs 😌 🐾 WHAT MAKES ME DIFFERENT? • I don’t just “watch” dogs I engage with them • I match their energy (playtime, structure, or chill time) • Patient with nervous pets, structured with high-energy ones • I follow routines closely so your pet feels at home 🐶 A TYPICAL DAY Walks, playtime, belly rubs, and making sure your pup is living their best life while you’re away. 📸 Expect LOTS of photo and video updates because I know you’ll miss them (and I will too). 🕒 FLEXIBLE SCHEDULE I’m home often and only step out for short periods, so your pet gets plenty of attention not hours alone. If you want someone reliable, experienced, and just the right amount of obsessed with dogs (with bonus cat knowledge 😉)… I’m your person 🐾💕 🐶 A TYPICAL DAY Walks, playtime, belly rubs, and making sure your pup is living their best life while you’re away. 📸 Expect LOTS of photo and video updates because I know you’ll miss them (and I will too). 🕒 FLEXIBLE SCHEDULE I’m home often and only step out for short periods, so your pet gets plenty of attention not hours alone. 🐾 Safe. Trusted. Stress-Free. • Constant supervision & no unsupervised chaos • Calm, structured environment • Attentive to routines, behavior, and comfort • Secure home with separated spaces when needed Your pet will always feel safe, seen, and cared for 💕

About: I have years of experience in handling different types of dogs. I have a friendly and calm demeanor that helps them feel comfortable with me as well. I spent years volunteering at the local shelter as a teenager. I've sat for friends, family, and neighbors over the years. I've had several pets over the years, and I am currently a rescue mom. I keep my availability updated and only take a limited number of bookings at a time to ensure each pet family gets my full attention. Please let me know if your pet has any special needs, medications, dietary requirements, or routines you’d like followed. I’m comfortable handling more detailed care instructions and will always prioritize your pet’s safety and comfort.

About: I grew up on a farm caring for a wide variety of animals, giving me hands on experience from an early age. I also spent nearly six years managing the animal care department for a national pet retailer, where I cared for cats, birds, reptiles, fish, and small animals while ensuring they received excellent daily care. As a lifelong pet owner, I’ve cared for dogs, cats, ferrets, and other pets with different personalities and needs. Whether your pet needs playtime, medication, feeding, or simply companionship, I’ll treat them with the same love and attention I give my own. I work full-time Monday through Friday from approximately 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., but I’m available before work, during my lunch break (depending on location), after work, evenings, weekends, and holidays. I’ll always follow your pet’s normal routine and make sure they receive plenty of attention, exercise, and affection while you’re away. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I’ll follow your care instructions exactly, including feeding schedules, medications, walks, litter box cleaning, and any special routines. With a lifelong background caring for animals and nearly six years of professional animal care management experience, I’m comfortable recognizing signs that a pet isn’t feeling well and responding appropriately. I’ll also keep you updated with photos and messages so you can enjoy your time away knowing your pet is in caring, capable hands.

About: I have taken care of dogs of all ages in my teen and adult years. I have experience with house sitting for friends and family with a variety of pets over the years. I am comfortable with puppies and or senior pets alike. I am flexible on my availability. I am working full time during the week. Please message me to see if I can work with you and if my work schedule will be ok for your four legged babies needs! I am familiar with crate training and walking dogs in neighborhoods. Providing play time for your pets is also very important. I am comfortable with dogs or cats of all sizes and breeds. My dog is timid with any new friends (pet or human) so I am also used to handling dogs who need extra time to warm up to me if I come into your home.

About: My name is Jozlyne, and I absolutely adore animals. I graduated with my Bachelors in Music Therapy at the University of Kansas and completed an internship at Arkansas Children’s Hospital! I grew up surrounded by animals and have always been passionate about caring for them. Over the past eight years I’ve had the privilege of caring for a multitude of different animals with different needs. I have experience with cats, dogs, several reptiles/amphibians, fish, rodents, other small mammals, birds, farm animals (pigs/chickens/etc.), raccoons, and even bob cats. I’ve cared for young healthy animal friends and senior pets . I am happy to play and be active or cuddle with your sweet friends but I also know when to give an animal their space. I know it can be hard to leave your sweet babies, so I make sure to maintain prompt communication, ask questions when needed, and send pictures! My schedule is currently fairly open. I have appointments and small commitments throughout the week, but nothing that would take more than a few hours at most. Before accepting a booking I communicate my exact schedule to ensure that there is clear communication and expectations are understood for both parties. I do not offer services in my home; however, while I am visiting or staying at another residence, I pride myself on communication and maintaining respect for your pets and your space.

About: I have wanted to be a Vet ever since I was little. I took all the classes, volunteered, and learned how to take care of many different types of animals! Then I realized I did not want to go to college for 8 years. So I got a cat, moved to Virginia, and became a nurse. Shocker I know! Since then I have made it my mission to help the 757 in every way possible. Now I reside in Central Arkansas. Taking care of pets and humans are what I know best. So, if you are in need of anything, just reach out and I will do everything I can to help! I can sit/walk every day of the week with these restrictions: after 5:30pm M-Thurs, after 1pm Fr, anytime Sat-Sun. My husband works remote and can help during weekdays with pets who are needing last minute overnight/longterm care. Every other time is up for discussion! I have only one pet friendly cat living in the home! I can provide food for cats with no restrictions and there will always be treats! I typically spend time getting to know my new furry friend when I am at another house. I like to know their routine and personality so I can adjust to fit their needs!

About: I have taken care of pets my entire life. Whenever my friends are out of town I am their first call to watch their fur babies. I currently have a chihuahua/beagle mix so I am well versed in hyper dogs. I am in graduate school but when I am not in class I would love to meet your fur baby/babies! Let me take the stress of a hectic schedule off of your shoulders by making sure your fur babies are taken care of. Safety is my main priority. Victoria did so great with my Daisy. She let her out when I was at work and played with her, which I’m sure she enjoyed the exercise and stimulation. She played games with her that I never even knew she was capable of 😂 She loved Daisy like her own, which is important to me. She left me details about their time together which I enjoyed reading about. She was reliable and was able to fit my needs into her schedule. Daisy and I are moving, but wish we could bring Victoria with us! We highly recommend Victoria.

About: Hi! I'm a high school teacher in Little Rock and have always loved animals. Since I was little, I've always been around animals and had dogs of my own; my primary chores growing up involved caring for my family's dogs. Now, as an adult, I volunteer at the local animal shelter and have helped find homes for several dogs. I often watch and take care of my parent's, sister's, and friend's dogs. I've also helped train dogs with basic housebreaking, manners, and simple tricks. I have two rescue dogs if my own (Rosie and Samantha), an adopted cat (Ripley), and a rescue off-track thoroughbred (Daisy). To be very honest, if you don't want your pet spoiled, I might not be the best sitter for you. I've just never met a dog- or any other animal- I haven't loved! Since I teach school Monday-Friday, I am most available before and after work and on the weekends. I would love to fit your babies into my schedule! Although my apartment is too small to host your fur-babies in my home, it would be my pleasure to make any accommodations necessary to take care of them in yours.

  • 95% can help with daily exercise

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
