About: I’ve had dogs my entire life. My animals are my children and I will treat your animals just the same. I have been a pet sitter since I was a teenager and I worked at a dog boarding/daycare facility for 3 years. I am also experienced in giving medication if that is needed. Your baby’s will be in good hands! I do work Monday-Friday but I’m close to home and go home everyday on my lunch break and check on the pups! I also have cameras that I use to check on them. I will treat your dog like my own. My animals have their own bedroom so they will be put up while your dog explores the house and gets used to the surroundings. And then if comfortable I will introduce my animals. I will make sure they are fed, watered, and have plenty of potty breaks and playtime.

This allows us to be very accommodating to all pets. I have a fenced in area with enough room for your animal to run, as well as 20 acres we can walk your animal on. We have the area to crate your animal if needed. We have the accommodations to bath your animal if desired.

About: Hi pet parent! 🐶✨ Looking for someone who will treat your dog like family (and not just a quick drop-in)? You found her. 💁♀️🐾. Hable Español también si necesitan ayuda en español. I’m a dog loving sitter with real, hands on experience not just someone who “likes animals.” I’ve worked in an animal shelter for 2 years and fostered dogs for over a year, so I’ve handled everything from wild zoomies to shy, nervous pups who need extra patience. Big dogs? ✔️ High energy? ✔️ Anxious or shy? ✔️ Strong personalities? ✔️ (honestly… my specialty 😂) I know how to read dog body language, catch subtle behavior changes, and handle situations calmly and confidently. Your dog isn’t just safe with me they’re understood. 🐾 AND YES! CAT PARENTS, YOU’RE COVERED TOO 🐱 While dogs are my main focus, I’ve also worked with cats in the shelter, so I’m comfortable with feline care as well. I understand their boundaries, personalities, and routines I just won’t pretend I’m not a little more obsessed with dogs 😌 🐾 WHAT MAKES ME DIFFERENT? • I don’t just “watch” dogs I engage with them • I match their energy (playtime, structure, or chill time) • Patient with nervous pets, structured with high-energy ones • I follow routines closely so your pet feels at home 🐶 A TYPICAL DAY Walks, playtime, belly rubs, and making sure your pup is living their best life while you’re away. 📸 Expect LOTS of photo and video updates because I know you’ll miss them (and I will too). 🕒 FLEXIBLE SCHEDULE I’m home often and only step out for short periods, so your pet gets plenty of attention not hours alone. If you want someone reliable, experienced, and just the right amount of obsessed with dogs (with bonus cat knowledge 😉)… I’m your person 🐾💕 🐶 A TYPICAL DAY Walks, playtime, belly rubs, and making sure your pup is living their best life while you’re away. 📸 Expect LOTS of photo and video updates because I know you’ll miss them (and I will too). 🕒 FLEXIBLE SCHEDULE I’m home often and only step out for short periods, so your pet gets plenty of attention not hours alone. 🐾 Safe. Trusted. Stress-Free. • Constant supervision & no unsupervised chaos • Calm, structured environment • Attentive to routines, behavior, and comfort • Secure home with separated spaces when needed Your pet will always feel safe, seen, and cared for 💕
“Joe did a very excellent job taking care of my pup while I was away, she was always in communication sending me texts and pics and letting me know exactly what was going on and I definitely appreciated that. I would recommend her to anyone else and I would use her again.”
About: I have years of experience in handling different types of dogs. I have a friendly and calm demeanor that helps them feel comfortable with me as well. I spent years volunteering at the local shelter as a teenager. I've sat for friends, family, and neighbors over the years. I've had several pets over the years, and I am currently a rescue mom. I keep my availability updated and only take a limited number of bookings at a time to ensure each pet family gets my full attention. Please let me know if your pet has any special needs, medications, dietary requirements, or routines you’d like followed. I’m comfortable handling more detailed care instructions and will always prioritize your pet’s safety and comfort.
“Aulelei is awesome. She was on time everyday, she texted pictures and communicated often on how my dogs were doing. I would highly recommend her to care your animal(s). Thanks Aulelei! I will definitely be back in touch again!”
About: I have two pets of my own. I would love the opportunity to care for others fur babies. I’m experienced caring from puppy age to senior. I am also well equipped at caring for elderly pets and distributing medicine. I currently work full time, however, I am only in the office three days a week. I can walk dogs on Mondays/Fridays during lunch, most days after work, and weekends. I have a fenced in back yard. My cat is used to dogs and gets along well with them. My senior dog is well behaved and calm.
“Victoria did so great with my Daisy. She let her out when I was at work and played with her, which I’m sure she enjoyed the exercise and stimulation. She played games with her that I never even knew she was capable of 😂 She loved Daisy like her own, which is important to me. She left me details about their time together which I enjoyed reading about. She was reliable and was able to fit my needs into her schedule. Daisy and I are moving, but wish we could bring Victoria with us! We highly recommend Victoria.”

About: I have had dogs since I was 15 years old. I have taken care of them myself in house basically my whole life. I love cuddling with my dogs and don't mind them laying beside me on furniture. I have trained lots of puppies potty duties and crate training. I have had a bunch of senior dogs. I am a nurse by trade, so if your fur baby needs meds, I am definitely the one who can give it to them! I can't wait to meet your baby! I am currently retired nurse who stays home basically all the time. If I do have to leave, it is usually only for a couple of hours. I do not have a fully fenced yard, but I do have a fenced area behind the house that I can put the fur babies in to do their business and get some exercise. If they do not need to be contained, I have 5 acres that they can run and play.
About: Hello! I’m Tara, and animals have been a big part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up caring for dogs, cats, and horses, and I competed in eventing through my mid-twenties—so I’m comfortable with pets of all sizes, energy levels, and personalities. My significant other, Mike, and I work together as a team to provide attentive, 1:1 in-home boarding with plenty of supervision, exercise, and affection. I’m happy to accommodate special routines and needs (senior care, medications, shy/anxious pups, or high-energy dogs who need extra play and structure). Tell me what helps your dog feel safest and happiest, and we’ll tailor their care to match. I work in childcare part time and Mike is a gig worker with a very flexible schedule. We work together to give your dog the benefit of in person care. Regular business hours are preferred but not mandatory. We strived to meet your dog care needs and requirements while giving your babies all the love and attention they deserve. We may ask a lot of questions but the more we know, the better we can customize the care for your dog. We have a nice size yard with. We also have a large deck for lounging.
About: I am a very responsible and loving pet owner. Growing up around cats and dogs my entire life, I understand that each pet has their own unique needs. I will treat your fur baby as if they were my own. :) I am currently a med student, so my schedule is very flexible. I hope to work with you to best meet you and your pets needs. I currently have two cats, so providing care for your pet in my home may not be the best option depending on your pets comfort level. If I were to care for your pet in your home, I will respect your home and ensure your pet is cared for in any way needed.
About: I have wanted to be a Vet ever since I was little. I took all the classes, volunteered, and learned how to take care of many different types of animals! Then I realized I did not want to go to college for 8 years. So I got a cat, moved to Virginia, and became a nurse. Shocker I know! Since then I have made it my mission to help the 757 in every way possible. Now I reside in Central Arkansas. Taking care of pets and humans are what I know best. So, if you are in need of anything, just reach out and I will do everything I can to help! I can sit/walk every day of the week with these restrictions: after 5:30pm M-Thurs, after 1pm Fr, anytime Sat-Sun. My husband works remote and can help during weekdays with pets who are needing last minute overnight/longterm care. Every other time is up for discussion! I have only one pet friendly cat living in the home! I can provide food for cats with no restrictions and there will always be treats! I typically spend time getting to know my new furry friend when I am at another house. I like to know their routine and personality so I can adjust to fit their needs!
“Samantha has done a wonderful job visiting the house and pets to go over their needs before she pet sits this coming week while we on vacation. She has alleviated all worries knowing she’ll be there with them!”

- 97% of walkers can help with special care needs

- 94% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
