“Abigail was an amazing sitter for our critter crew! She was kind and responsive, was attentive to details and especially patient with our old chocolate lab who has several health issues, and younger doodle who has some behavioral preferences we’re still learning! 🙏❤️ We so appreciate her taking such good care of everyone, and would love to have her back!!”

“Amy is great! She kept me very updated throughout and was available last minute. Thank you Amy! We are using her again two more times before the end of the year. She will treat your fur babies like her own ?”

“We could not have asked for a better petsitter than Lakshmi! She’s as good as they come. We returned home to a very happy and relaxed cat after Lakshmi stayed in our home with her for four nights. When she came over to get the lay of the land, she asked detail-oriented questions and took notes, which made us confident she’d do a good job. When we were away, we received frequent, detailed, fun updates, and it was clear that Lakshmi is an excellent and experienced caretaker and an enthusiastic animal lover. She treated Pip with lots of love and consideration, and we loved seeing the daily photos and videos of their time together. She was also a great houseguest and left our apartment spotless. We’ve had several negative experiences with Rovers in the past, but I’d confidently recommend Lakshmi to anyone. We will certainly hire her again!”

“Betsie went above and beyond with house sitting our girls! She read to my sweet older dog and took great care of our cats with attention to detail and their mannerisms, and helped with keeping an eye on the house as a whole! She also took so many beautiful pictures of our babies that we will treasure! I can’t recommend her enough!”

“Ian was able to accommodate my last minute booking and was incredibly communicative throughout the entire stay. He regularly sent photos and videos of my dog without me even having to ask and I came home to a happy dog and a spotless house. I would absolutely book with him again.”

“First time using rover and I had a lot of hesitations. I met with Amanda and knew instantly she’d be a great fit. She was reliable and was available any time I messaged with her. My home was found just as we left it. Amanda will be our go to!”

About: I have been surrounded my dogs my whole life, growing up with three large ones of my own! I also have worked at a vet in Little Rock and am a certified veterinary technician! I am a college student with a flexible schedule, I am so excited to get to meet new pets and walk! I go to the university of Arkansas and have a good amount of free time during the week, I love pets and walking them is more for me! I have always had respect for all pets, I am trained with handling most cases working at the vet, this can include just taking the pet out to distributing medication.
About: Welcome to my Rover! I’m 26 years old and a lifelong animal lover. Growing up, I had the most amazing boxer rescue named Duke, and through my teenage years and young adulthood another rescue Munson, who was a black lab/pit bull mix. Currently mom to two fur babies Dexter and Koda, a black cat and a tuxedo cat. Aside from my primary occupation, I’m a very active person and love being outside. I’m a lifelong animal shelter volunteer and have worked with animals from newborn to elderly, perfect health to less than, anxiety, etc. I understand the obligations of everyday pet parents and am more than happy to meet and provide top tier care and support for your fur babies! I am currently working out a full-time schedule as I work remotely and am offering short-term care for the time being. All drop-ins, walks, and sittings will be accepted case by case. Will update when I move to a more regular schedule! The trust required to invite a sitter into your home and around your fur babies is paramount, and as a professional, your home becomes my office and will be treated with the utmost respect. I tend to leave a home cleaner than I found it, and follow instructions to a T, so please do not hesitate to let me know how I can best care for your fur babies and your home while I'm in service!
“Jennifer has taken care of our dogs on multiple occasions in the past year from drop in visits to house sitting. She has been amazing each time, going above and beyond to ensure our dogs are happy and healthy”

“Lacy was fantastic!! She did a great job pet sitting our cat, sent lots of photos and updates, and left the home in perfect shape!! She gave me peace of mind knowing our cat was in good hands while we were out of state! We will definitely be using her again!”

About: I’ve had many pets—dogs, cats, an angora bunny, chickens—and I’ve adored them all. You can depend on me to take good care with your furry loved ones. My daytime schedule is flexible and I can drop by to care for your pet during weekdays or weekends, as needed. I walk dogs during regular daylight hours between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., or by special request. I can visit your house to care for your pet, walk them, and provide playtime as needed. Let me know what kind of care you are looking for.
About: I’ve had over 16 years of hands-on experience caring for my own dog, a sweet Cocker Spaniel who I miss dearly every day. He taught me so much about patience, consistency, and really understanding what our pets need at every stage of life. I also have one dog now, Peanut—he’s a goofy ball of love and life! He’s full of energy, so I definitely know what it’s like to care for high-energy pups and make sure they get the structure, play, and attention they need. Along with my own pets, I’ve house and dog sat for several families (and can absolutely provide references!). I’ve cared for pets anywhere from a single day or overnight to about 2½ weeks while families were traveling. I’ve worked with both dogs and cats, given medications when needed, and always do my best to stick closely to their normal routines. I know from my own fur babies how important that consistency is—it really helps keep them calm, comfortable, and happy while you’re away. I also treat your home with care by watering plants and keeping things tidy, so you can come back relaxed and stress-free. What really sets me apart is how attentive I am to each pet’s personality. Whether they’re shy, anxious, or full of energy, I meet them where they are and make sure they feel safe and cared for. I follow instructions closely, communicate clearly, and I LOVE sending updates and pictures so you can see how your fur baby is doing while you’re away. At the end of the day, I just genuinely love animals and treat them like they’re my own. Hi there! I'm Rachel, and I'd love to care for your pets this summer! During the school year, I work as a substitute teacher for the Little Rock School District, but I'm off for the summer and have a much more flexible schedule. In the fall, I'll be starting school, so I'm looking forward to spending my summer doing something I truly enjoy—caring for animals! Whether your furry family member needs drop-in visits, walks, overnight care, or just some extra love and attention while you're away, I'd be honored to help. I know how important it is to find someone you can trust with your pets, and I'll care for them as if they were my own. I can't wait to meet you and your furry family members this summer! When I’m caring for your pet in your home, my biggest goal is to keep everything feeling as normal and comfortable for them as possible. I know from my own experience how important routines are, so I stick closely to whatever you already have in place-feeding, potty breaks, walks, medications, all of it. I really try to meet each pet where they are. If they’re high-energy, we’ll play and get that energy out. If they’re more shy or anxious, I’ll go slow and give them space while still being a calm, comforting presence. I want them to feel safe and cared for, not stressed while you’re away. I’m also very mindful of your home- I keep things clean, stay on top of litter boxes or any messes, and can help with things like watering plants. I treat your space with respect so you can come home and feel relaxed. If I’m caring for pets in my home, they’ll be treated like family. I keep a clean, safe environment and make sure they’re supervised, comfortable, and getting plenty of attention (and love!). And I’m big on communication- I’ll send updates and pictures so you can see how your pet is doing and feel at ease while you’re away.

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Cammack Village
Farah is an excellent dog and house sitter. I am traditionally nervous leaving our dogs while on vacation, but I have never been nervous when they are under Farah’s care. She is excellent at following care requests, sends ample updates, leaves the dogs well taken care of, and even cleans the house/washes sheets etc. This trip, she even had to deal with a tree limb falling on our roof, and limitations with Nala undergoing heartworm treatment. We are very thankful to have found Farah, and look forward to hiring her again in the future.

Juli stayed at our house for 5 days and took care of our 5 animals. She sent pictures and updates everyday and was so attentive to all of our fur babies while we were gone! When we got home the kitty litter was scooped, back yard was scooped, and everything was in perfect condition. Juli was such an amazing find on Rover!
There aren’t words to express how incredible Autumn is. She came over the day before I scheduled her to meet my pets, and took notes of their routine while I went over it with her. She sent updates and pictures of my dogs while I was away, spoiled them with love and attention, and has been the sweetest to communicate with. I had ZERO concerns while she cared for my dogs, and I couldn’t ask for more than the comfort and safety of my babies!

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Cammack Village walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Cammack Village maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Cammack Village choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Cammack Village. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
