She is our go to regular sitter for our cat, and we always are extremely pleased with her and how well she cares for our baby, but this most recent time she truly went above and beyond for us. We got stranded in our travels because of the snow storm and she not only was able to stay with her for extra days, but the hvac unit also went out and our house lost heat! The temps dropped dangerously low and she helped us to troubleshoot the system for HOURS! Unfortunately the problem had to do with something outside our control and we needed to find an HVAC technician who could solve it. She stayed with our cat despite the cold and helped the hvac technician gain access to the house, answering questions as they arose, and worked with him until everything was fixed! She also made sure to drop the faucets and do everything she could to keep the house warm. She not only cared for our cat but she also saved our house from freezing pipes! We could not be more thankful for her and the amazing person she is!! People like her are rare and choosing her to care for your pets is truly a blessing! Thank you so much, Lacy!!”

About: I’ve had over 16 years of hands-on experience caring for my own dog, a sweet Cocker Spaniel who I miss dearly every day. He taught me so much about patience, consistency, and really understanding what our pets need at every stage of life. I also have one dog now, Peanut—he’s a goofy ball of love and life! He’s full of energy, so I definitely know what it’s like to care for high-energy pups and make sure they get the structure, play, and attention they need. Along with my own pets, I’ve house and dog sat for several families (and can absolutely provide references!). I’ve cared for pets anywhere from a single day or overnight to about 2½ weeks while families were traveling. I’ve worked with both dogs and cats, given medications when needed, and always do my best to stick closely to their normal routines. I also treat your home with care by watering plants and keeping things tidy, so you can come back relaxed and stress-free. What really sets me apart is how attentive I am to each pet’s personality. During the school year, I work as a substitute teacher for the Little Rock School District, but I'm off for the summer and have a much more flexible schedule. When I’m caring for your pet in your home, my biggest goal is to keep everything feeling as normal and comfortable for them as possible. I know from my own experience how important routines are, so I stick closely to whatever you already have in place-feeding, potty breaks, walks, medications, all of it. I really try to meet each pet where they are. If they’re high-energy, we’ll play and get that energy out. If they’re more shy or anxious, I’ll go slow and give them space while still being a calm, comforting presence. I want them to feel safe and cared for, not stressed while you’re away. I’m also very mindful of your home- I keep things clean, stay on top of litter boxes or any messes, and can help with things like watering plants. I treat your space with respect so you can come home and feel relaxed. If I’m caring for pets in my home, they’ll be treated like family. I keep a clean, safe environment and make sure they’re supervised, comfortable, and getting plenty of attention (and love!). And I’m big on communication- I’ll send updates and pictures so you can see how your pet is doing and feel at ease while you’re away.

About: Welcome to my Rover! I’m 26 years old and a lifelong animal lover. Growing up, I had the most amazing boxer rescue named Duke, and through my teenage years and young adulthood another rescue Munson, who was a black lab/pit bull mix. Currently mom to two fur babies Dexter and Koda, a black cat and a tuxedo cat. Aside from my primary occupation, I’m a very active person and love being outside. I’m a lifelong animal shelter volunteer and have worked with animals from newborn to elderly, perfect health to less than, anxiety, etc. I understand the obligations of everyday pet parents and am more than happy to meet and provide top tier care and support for your fur babies! I am currently working out a full-time schedule as I work remotely and am offering short-term care for the time being. All drop-ins, walks, and sittings will be accepted case by case. Will update when I move to a more regular schedule! The trust required to invite a sitter into your home and around your fur babies is paramount, and as a professional, your home becomes my office and will be treated with the utmost respect. I tend to leave a home cleaner than I found it, and follow instructions to a T, so please do not hesitate to let me know how I can best care for your fur babies and your home while I'm in service!

About: I sincerely love animals and understand how hard it can be to be away from your pet. My intention is to provide loving care to your pet so that you can feel peace of mind while you are away. My dad is a veterinarian and I grew up being around all sorts of animals. I have worked at a few different animal hospitals and spent several years at a dog daycare, pet-sitting off and on over the years. For a long time I had two of the greatest canine companions, Windy (a Jack Russel) and Luna (corgi mix). They have sinced passed, and so I really appreciate getting a chance to be around other doggos. I have a pretty flexible schedule and am willing to do drop ins, walks, and overnight stays (at your home, I have a territorial cat at my home :)). My schedule is very open and flexible. I do not have any other jobs currently and am utilizing my savings until I find an income that aligns with my personality and values. I would love to do pet care full time. I am able to care for your pets at your home. I will not take any pets to my home because it is a small apartment and my cat has strong boundaries :) I have a fairly open schedule and am most likely able to accommodate whatever needs you have, whether it's overnight stays, drop-in visits, walks, etc! I'm open to communicate and figure out what works best for you and your pet.
