“We left our family member Prank, a corgi, with Melana for 11 days, first time we had left him for more than a few days. He had a great time!!! Melana has a perfect set up for hosting fur guests, huge fenced yard, dog friendly home, etc. She treated him like one of her own and sent us numerous pics and videos while we were gone so we didn’t have to worry about him. When we got back he was perfectly happy, although sad to leave all his new friends😂😂😂. We would highly recommend using Melana for your fur baby, I know she will be our first call next time we have to leave him! Great job and thanks again!!!!!”

About: I raised my dog Rocky from when he was a puppy, so I’m experienced in caring for pets of all ages. I’ve pet sit many times before learning about Rover. Every pet is different, and I’m prepared to do my best to meet your pet’s individual needs. I believe a routine is incredibly beneficial to pet care, which is why Rocky is part of my routine. If your pet is staying with me they will be feed and walked first thing in the morning. Potty breaks throughout the day for pets with more frequent needs. Then second feeding and walk at approximately 6:30 pm. If I’m sitting at your place, if your pet has its own routine we will follow it, if not I will adopt a routine based on the environment. Previously, my house was a 3 dog 3 cat house. After some relationship changes, it’s just me and Rocky. Rocky is completely submissive, although he’s a Goldmation he very much embodies golden retriever energy, and gets along with pets of all shapes and sizes (like I said, 3 cats) When sitting at your house you can be sure that both your home and pets will be cared for. Cleaning is one of my favorite activities, so you might find your house is even a bit more tidy than you left it. And Rocky is very low maintenance and stays home when I pet sit, meaning that if you want me to spend as much time at your place as possible, I can do that.

She ensured we felt comfortable with her home and set up. Her home is wonderfully set up to care for dogs/animals, you can tell this is not her first rodeo. While away, she kept us informed daily of happenings and handled anything that came up with our pup—and our dog is no perfect angel but she handled every curve ball he threw. Julissa was also very flexible with us regarding pick-up times and understanding of our personal situations for which I am grateful. About: I have had dogs since I was 15 years old. I have taken care of them myself in house basically my whole life. I love cuddling with my dogs and don't mind them laying beside me on furniture. I have trained lots of puppies potty duties and crate training. I have had a bunch of senior dogs. I am a nurse by trade, so if your fur baby needs meds, I am definitely the one who can give it to them! I can't wait to meet your baby! I am currently retired nurse who stays home basically all the time. If I do have to leave, it is usually only for a couple of hours. I do not have a fully fenced yard, but I do have a fenced area behind the house that I can put the fur babies in to do their business and get some exercise. About: I recently got a new job that allows me to work remotely most of the time. My dog has loved the change, but needs some company from time to time. I live in an apartment with a 2 acre dog park a half mile away. My dog and I usually go to the park twice a day when I work from home (weather permitting) with several more walks a day. There is also a walking trail around a couple of ponds with plenty of squirrels for your dog to say hi to. We always had pets (cats and dogs) growing up in a small Texas town. As a kid, I also did drop in visits for some of my neighbors when they went out of town. After I got my dog, I would dog sit for some of my friends. Now that I work from home almost every day, I'd like to keep having extra dogs around that Zeus can play with while I'm working. I have a 35 pound Jack Russell mix named Zeus. He's friendly to everyone, both people and animals. He gives dogs their space and is patient with enthusiastic puppies. He is a chill apartment dog that sleeps as much as a cat. He doesn't have a set schedule so he'll be flexible if your dog needs certain walk or feeding times. I have a job that lets me work from home so I'm able to be flexible with my schedule. Zeus and I usually go to the dog park twice a day and take several walks throughout the day. I live in an apartment with my Jack Russell mix Zeus. He's a great co-host and is patient with overly energetic puppies and gives dogs their space when they want it (he sleeps like a cat). My apartment complex has a dog park that's a 10 minute walk away and it has a walking path around a couple of ponds. The neighborhood is quiet (except for Lovers Ln) and is great for wandering around. There's full time access to water and I allow animals on the furniture. I can crate your dog if needed.

“Andrew was so Great!!! He has a wonderful connection with animals and they with him. My Eclispe had an amazing time! She got to run and play off some that puppy energy. Andrew is very good with her and is helping me teach her. He introduced her to water also. Eclipse loves to go to his house and gets excited each time we go! She has fun every time. I prefer that they are walked together as that is how I normally do with them, before I injured my knee. Leah was eager to try it the 1st day, and did an amazing walk handling then simultaneously, that is not easy because one walks quickly & the other has a slower pace. About: I raised my dog Rocky from when he was a puppy, so I’m experienced in caring for pets of all ages. I’ve pet sit many times before learning about Rover. Every pet is different, and I’m prepared to do my best to meet your pet’s individual needs. I believe a routine is incredibly beneficial to pet care, which is why Rocky is part of my routine. If your pet is staying with me they will be feed and walked first thing in the morning. Potty breaks throughout the day for pets with more frequent needs. Then second feeding and walk at approximately 6:30 pm. If I’m sitting at your place, if your pet has its own routine we will follow it, if not I will adopt a routine based on the environment. Previously, my house was a 3 dog 3 cat house. After some relationship changes, it’s just me and Rocky. Rocky is completely submissive, although he’s a Goldmation he very much embodies golden retriever energy, and gets along with pets of all shapes and sizes (like I said, 3 cats) When sitting at your house you can be sure that both your home and pets will be cared for. Cleaning is one of my favorite activities, so you might find your house is even a bit more tidy than you left it. And Rocky is very low maintenance and stays home when I pet sit, meaning that if you want me to spend as much time at your place as possible, I can do that.
