“Well Starr seem to certainly have a great time on her overnight. I think she was sad to leave. She certainly Seemed attached to Lindsay. I love the fact that Lindsay was very accessible by text. I could reach her immediately after texting her. That was wonderful. I appreciated all of the pictures. And I also appreciated that she had everything ready for us so that it was easy for us to leave without having to put things away. We will certainly use her services again.”

“Katherine was amazing with my dog Tiree! It was a relief knowing she was taking such good care of him while we were away. Communication was great and we would definitely book with her again!”

“Samantha and her son are amazing! Our Doodle Phoebe had the best time staying with her and her family. We received pics each day with a little note about how her day was going. That made our day each day! We highly recommend her and definitely will be using her for daycare and overnight again!😀”

“Amanda and her family were great with out little Pluto. He loved being around her dog Chai and her wonderful children. We loved it so much that he is going back this weekend. Thank you so much Amanda.”

“This is my Kona’s first boarding. Adriana and her family took care of Kona very well. Kona looks happy every moment. Also I appreciate Adriana shared many photos and video during the stay. I could know how Kona was doing timely.”

“I can’t say enough how happy I am to have found Julianna. She has a great personality, is informative and took our girl (Brook) in as one of her family, in fact - her entire family took her in. We didn’t get the usual ‘cold shoulder’ from Brook when we returned from our vacation, so that speaks volumes. This is our third time we’ve had to leave Brook to travel. I wouldn’t go to anyone else. Hard to leave, but knowing Brook will be well taken care of and happy makes it MUCH easier. She earned and deserves all five stars from our family!”

“Ashton was great! Our dog Jack doesn't spend much time with other people and Ashton was very accommodating when our previous sitter (not from rover.com) canceled a week before the appointment. Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Hooksett
Our dog Mona always comes back looking happy and healthy after her lengthy stay with Beilka. We boarded our dog at kennels and when picking her up after a weekend Mona looked stressed and wouldn’t eat. But with Beilka you can see that Mona is relaxed, happy and just well taken care of. I can’t thank her enough for helping care for Mona during our long trip. Normally I worry about her because I know she isn’t the happiest where she’s at the kennel. But this was the first trip that we all felt assured she was in good hands. Lots of updates and photos helped put at as ease. Forever grateful to have met Beilka and family. They are lovely and feel familiar as if you’ve known them your whole life. Mona is thankful as well!

I’ve been lucky to always have family or close friends to watch my pup Lorenzo, so I was quite nervous when it came to having someone I hadn’t met previously watching him. Donna put me at ease right away and was so lovely to work with. She kept me updated with photos of Lorenzo having the best time with her pups. I will definitely book Donna again in the future!!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in NH ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
