“Susan and John are wonderful. Very responsive, they sent pictures and communicated very well. I felt that my dogs were in great care. When I picked them up they were as happy as can be. I highly recommend them.”

“Ashley was a very professional, attentive, and caring sitter. We left our dog with her for almost a week, and he came back very happy and tired. (He's still sleeping it off I think!) I would definitely recommend Ashley to others!”

“We are so grateful to have found Kim to care for our dog Mochi while we were on a trip! She is accommodating, communicative and kind. We did not have to worry about leaving our dog with her and knew that Mochi would enjoy being around her dog as well. We got lots of pictures and Mochi got lots of exercise and rest too! I would not hesitate to ask Kim for her help in the future.”

“Samantha and her family were awesome taking care of our Benny. We appreciated the updates and pictures we received while away. Will certainly use her services again for future travel plans!”

“Rebecca was personable and gave updates during our pup’s stay. Rebecca engaged our pup with socialization and training reinforcement. Our pup seemed to have enjoyed her stay and came back safe and sound.”

“Lindsay was so awesome! I was nervous about never having left my 9 month old pup with anyone before, but once I got to her home and met her, her adorable little girl, and the other pups running around playing, I was so at ease. Her place is clean and cozy, easy access to a great yard, and Lindsay was so very attentive. I felt 100% comfortable leaving my pup in her care, especially after I started receiving updates and photos/videos of their time and activities. Would highly recommend!”

About: I am a very detail oriented individual who has loved raised animals since I was a child. I have experience with different types of dogs and personalities including rescues and spicy personalities. I myself own 3 dogs. 2 rescues and a French Bulldog. I consider myself someone who can easily gain trust with nervous or territorial dogs. I also have a lot of experience cats as well. I really like to listen to what the animal requires to give the best care for your fur babies. Currently, I work a full-time job 7-3:30pm. I am looking to do nights and weekends with the goal of going full-time. Currently weekends and last minute walks during the weekdays after 4:00 will work best. First and foremost my animals are my babies and I feel the same way about yours! I like to make sure that anyone whose animal I care for feels comfortable and all questions have been asked prior to care. If possible, I like to meet the dogs and owners ahead of time which allows the owners to see our interactions together to make sure it is a great fit. I will send photos and updates while giving reassurance to those who worry when not at home. My animals are my babies and yours will be too during care.

“Bea did a Awesome job with our Dog Daisy.....Daisy had a great time at the Bea residence. Bea sent pictures and updates through out Daisy's visit, which put us at ease. We highly recommend Bea!!!!!”

“Katherine is awesome! My dog just spent a week with her and was very happy. She sent me pictures every day and reached out with updates. There was never a lack of communication or a feeling that my pup wasn’t being absolutely cared for. I highly recommend her for all your pet sitting needs, and I won’t hesitate to call her again when the need arises!”

“Emily and Kevin were great hosts and were patient with my dog when he had a couple accidents in their home. They took him on walks, allowed him to sleep in their bed, and made him feel at home. Absolutely would trust them with my boy again!”

“Becky did a fantastic job with Finley! He clearly felt right at home and very much enjoyed the frequent outdoor trips but most importantly the comfy and cozy atmosphere of their very dog-friendly home. Finley just spent a week with Becky, and we have already rebooked for this coming weekend! Great to have this option knowing Finley is in good hands ?”
“Andrea goes WAY above and beyond to make your pet feel comfortable and happy. She provides a safe and stimulating environment for your dog, especially those who are not as easy, such as my corgi. She sends professional quality pictures, communicates frequently and is flexible. I am a repeat client and would book with Andrea again in the future, without thinking twice!!”

“I always worry that Cheese comes on a little too excited when she first meets people, but Dalyce seemed super prepared. Cheese came in for the meet and greet and after a good sniff laid down to chew on one of the toys she provided for visiting pups. Communication was great and she sent lots of updates and photos. Will definitely book again!”

About: I have 1 dog of my own and love caring for yours while you're away! I have many years of pet sitting experience and have been very involved with several pet rescue groups. I am very comfortable administering medications and with any other special requests. Can't wait to meet your 4 legged family member! I am an educator and am off for holidays and the summer. I work during the day, but am available for early morning or afternoon/evening visits Mon-Fri and on weekends. I love spending time with animals and will treat yours like they're my own! I would love to take your dog for a special outing. I am very responsible and will send regular updates while you're away. As far as boarding in my home, it would be best if it is an older dog with a relaxed temperament. My dog is very sweet, but puppies stress her out. :) I am currently off for the summer, so I am home all day. I can work around your pup's schedule and will have lots of time to spend with them! I live at the lake and there are lots of great places to walk close by. If your dog loves swimming, there is a beach within walking distance. I am off on weekends and holidays, so I have lots of time for your pup! My dog goes everywhere with me, so I'll love spending time with yours! I live alone with my dog, so I have lots of time and attention to give. I am off during the summer and on holidays, so they can go out as much as needed!
“Our puppy had a great stay with Katie while we travelled out of state! She was well taken care of and came back tired from playing with other puppy and kitty friends. We would definitely recommend Katie, thank you!”

“Amanda and her family (including their awesome dog) took care of our pup as though she were their own. We received pictures and updates throughout her stay. We had great peace of mind knowing our little dog was receiving such ample love and attention. Our dog looks forward to a future stay with Amanda!”

“Enzo can be a shy guy and a little nervous but Lauren did everything to make him feel comfortable including checking in with me, which I truly appreciate. He came home happy and tired and we would use Lauren again!”

About: Hi! I’m Mikaela, and I’ve had dogs since I was a baby. I’ve had two family dogs (one beagle and one pitbull mix), and currently have one lovable mutt, Zeva. We love spending our free time on walks around the city, in the mountains, and anywhere we can find a good stick for Zeva to carry around. I’m a teacher, but my schedule allows me to be flexible. I have a 30 minute commute, so having a schedule works best to plan! I have a private yard space that I share with one neighbor. Anytime my dog goes outside (on a lead, so everyone’s comfortable), I’m right there with her.

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Loudon
This is the first time we used Rover and I was a nervous dog mom for sure! One of the things that I appreciated the most was every time I emailed Leilani, she would get back to me right away. She provided pictures and updates and took great care of our senior golden and our puppy, who had just had surgery a week before his stay with her. Thank you Leilani!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in NH ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
