“This was our first time using this service, and we were initially so nervous about leaving Hiro for five days. Andrea and Izabella tag-teamed to care for him, and we couldn’t be more grateful. Hiro has a quirky eating routine—he gets fed by an automatic feeder at 2:30 a.m.—and when the system had to be reset, Andrea and Izabella even offered to set an alarm to feed him manually. That gesture alone meant so much to us, even though we later resolved it. We received daily photo updates, and it was heartwarming to see Hiro mingling for the first time—especially as they took great care in slowly introducing him to his “long-lost brothers.” Knowing he was so well looked after gave us true peace of mind. We’re already planning another longer trip in July and will definitely be booking their services again. Thank you both so much for taking such great care of Hiro!”

“Lindsey and her family took great care of our Zoey this past week! She sent daily updates with pictures and videos. She made the whole process easy and was always sending quick responses. They are definitely dog lovers and treat their dogs and the dogs they are watching like family!”

“Adriana and her whole family was very accommodating and patient with our dog who gets separation anxiety. She kept me updated frequently with pictures and texts. I would use Adriana again and would recommend her. Thank you!”
“Juliana was able to take care of Archie last minute, which was greatly appreciated! She was very flexible with the drop off and pick up, which was greatly appreciated since we went out of town for a wedding. Juliana was attentive to the instructions I gave her regarding our dog and asked questions for clarification. Juliana was open to meeting up a couple days prior to the booking, and our dog was able to meet her two cute dogs as well as her kids. We trusted her and her family with our dog immediately! She also made sure to send us lots of updates and pictures while we were away. 10/10 would recommend her and I will be a returning client :)”

“Megan was great! She was very good at communicating and checked in with us with any questions she had. She sent pictures everyday! Thank you for taking such great care of Gracie while we were away.”

“Amanda and her family were great with out little Pluto. He loved being around her dog Chai and her wonderful children. We loved it so much that he is going back this weekend. Thank you so much Amanda.”

“This was our first experience using Rover and we struck gold with Vanessa. She was communicative and kept us updated on our pups while we were away. Our dogs can be a handful as one is VERY high energy, but she clearly knew what she was doing and they came home happy and healthy. I would highly recommend her to watch your pups!”

“Ashton was great! Our dog Jack doesn't spend much time with other people and Ashton was very accommodating when our previous sitter (not from rover.com) canceled a week before the appointment. We received pictures and updates throughout the visit, communication was excellent! Thanks again, we look forward to meeting again when the need arises!!”

“Bri was exactly who we were looking for! Our dog Charlie is somewhat anxious and not very social with other dogs so we really didn’t want to leave him in a traditional boarding facility for a week. Bri was happy to take care of Charlie and showed him so much love and attention! She has a clean home and lots of outdoor space and trails for walks. Couldn’t be happier with our experience!”

“Amanda clearly loves Fern and always takes incredible care of her! She sends a perfect amount of updates and pictures. Fern gets excited whenever we get close because she knows she's going to have a great time!”

“Bae was great and cam through lase minute when we got stuck, and our dog seemed to do really great with them. On top of that when we arrived one day earlier she initiated a refund which we did not ask for. I heartily recommend her for your dog.”

“We left my pug and my daughter's golden with Brook for a week. She was very good about letting us know daily how they were doing. She had a welcoming home and her kids seemed good with the dogs. She seemed responsible and trustworthy.”

About: I’ve been taking care of animals since I was 7 years old and I am now 26. I have had primarily cats and dogs but I have also handled hamster, hedgehogs, guinea pigs and rabbits. I enjoy walking, playing and hanging out with the animals. I currently do not have any myself at the moment but I take care of various family members and friends pets while also housesitting. I do work full time but I am available most nights and weekends. I currently do class work for college and can make manage play time, walk time in between my school work. I currently tend to my brothers dog while I work from home. I am able to play with her a little bit, feed her and run her out for potty breaks.

Nataliya sent pictures quite often, and Penny seemed part of the family. She had plenty of outdoor time, and seemed to get along great with the other couple dogs. Night time looked just like home, with Penny snuggling on the couch with family. Thank you Nataliya for taking such great care of our little lady ❤

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in NH ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
