“Olivia watched our dogs for 9 days while we were out of state for vacation. The first two days of the trip, our big dog got sick and had accidents in the house. Olivia was so kind and helpful! She cleaned up after him without complaint and helped get his stomach settled. She’s very knowledgeable and knew exactly how to help him. For the rest of the trip, our dogs enjoyed walks around the neighborhood, runs in the backyard, and lots of cuddle time! We loved seeing photos of our dogs and getting little reports every day. I would trust Olivia with them anytime and look forward to working with her again!”

“I could tell right off the bat that Kristy was an animal lover! Kristy was kind and kept in touch with e-mails and photos! It was a blessing to have her taking care of my cats! Thanks Kristy!”

“Krista was awesome with our lab Loki..she was a great communicator and shared how each visit went. She did exactly what was needed each visit and flexed based on Loki's mood and needs. We greatly appreciated Krista's time with Loki and felt very comfortable leaving him in her care!”

“Alex is a great sitter. She looked in on my kittens, fed them, scooped the litter and made sure they had plenty of dry food and water. She sent pictures and videos each day and stayed to play with them. I would definitely hire her again!”

About: I have always been around dogs since I was a kid. Between my own, family members and neighbors, I have cared for dogs of all breeds and sizes for many years and been able to adjust to each dog’s needs with no problem at all. I am great at tiring pups out with play or long walks or hanging with them if they are on the lazier side! I work part time in Concord so I’m looking to take care of dogs for fun and some extra cash! I am available differing days of the week depending on my schedule, but when I am free I will be able to tire out the pups with long walks or extended play sessions if they so desire! I will easily be able to navigate client homes and learn a dogs likes and dislikes quickly to make for a smooth and comfortable experience for the pups.
“Alex is great! She took her time with the meet and greet even though the cats were a little shy and I swear by the time we got back from vacation they were sad it was us walking through the door and not her. The updates for the multiple drop in visits included pictures which is always appreciated when you are away! Alex is respectful and reliable and we will certainly use her again for our furbaby needs. Thank you Alex!”

“Ashley was a responsible and reliable sitter for our cat Monty. She was punctual to our schedule and communication was excellent. She clearly cares for the animals in her charge, and goes the extra mile to make sure they are well cared for.”

“Dalyce is professional and dependable and a very good communicator. Most importantly, she has a great disposition for both my anxious shephard and super mellow senior. Felt very comfortable knowing they were in her care.”

“So grateful to have found Caroline! She's taken care of my girls multiple times now and is always great at communicating and letting me know how they're doing. It feels great to not have to worry when we're away, Caroline is so wonderful and takes amazing care of our babies as if they're her cats. Thank you so much!!”

“We had such a relaxing vacation! We missed our kitties dearly but we never worried a moment about their well being. Heidi loves our cats and cares for them as if they were her own. Thank you Heidi!”

About: Animals have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I had a dog for most of my life, and for a few years fostered dogs at the same time, and had two dogs for a few years. I’ve fostered 10+ dogs of all sizes, ages, temperaments, and needs, including senior dogs and dogs with disabilities. I also have years of cat care experience and have volunteered at a local shelter and farm/sanctuary caring for dogs, cats, horses, rabbits, reptiles, and more. I’m comfortable caring for animals with all kinds of personalities and needs, and I bring patience, reliability, and genuine care to every pet I look after. I know how much trust it takes to leave your pets with someone, and I’m committed to making them feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. Pet care is a wonderful way for me to spend my time doing something I genuinely love. Right now I have availability on the weekends for pet care. Animals have always been a big part of my life, and I’m passionate about providing them with the same patience, attention, and care I would want for my own pets. I enjoy being active, spending time outdoors, and getting to know each animal’s unique personality. I understand that caring for someone’s pet also means caring for their home and respecting their space. I’m clean, responsible, and attentive to details, and I would treat your home with the same care and respect I would my own. I’m happy to keep things tidy, follow any household routines or instructions, bring in mail, water plants, and make sure everything is secure and in order while you’re away. Most importantly, I want you to come home knowing both your pets and your home were well cared for.
“Yurany was great. Wonderful communication! She took great care of our three cats, and provided great daily notes. Even fed our fish!! Thank you Yurany! Will definitely request again if ever needed!”

“Andrea was very nice and had excellency communication. On top of that she was able to get Tucker in last minute (the next day). For sure recommend using Andrea for your furry family.”

“Kimberlie was great with my two cats.. one of them is very shy usually, but loved her! She took care of them very well and followed my instructions. Felt very at ease that she came by 3 times a day. Would definitely use her services again!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was very young, starting with our family dogs as well as walking or sitting for family friends throughout the years. I tend to the individual dog’s needs to ensure a positive experience built on trust, respect and fun! I work from home and my schedule allows for flexibility. I have the availability to be free during week days. I am also an avid walker and love to go on walks to explore new places. I focus on the individual needs of that animal to meet them where they are at. I am able to understand animal body language and act accordingly.

Peter was the absolute best. It was my first experience having someone come into my home to take care of a pet and he made the experience so comfortable. While we were away it was so reassuring to see the constant updates and know that Echo was in such great hands. Thanks Peter!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
