About: I have always been around dogs since I was a kid. Between my own, family members and neighbors, I have cared for dogs of all breeds and sizes for many years and been able to adjust to each dog’s needs with no problem at all. I am great at tiring pups out with play or long walks or hanging with them if they are on the lazier side! I work part time in Concord so I’m looking to take care of dogs for fun and some extra cash! I am available differing days of the week depending on my schedule, but when I am free I will be able to tire out the pups with long walks or extended play sessions if they so desire! I will easily be able to navigate client homes and learn a dogs likes and dislikes quickly to make for a smooth and comfortable experience for the pups.

“Betsy was a HUGE help to us while we were away on vacation!! She made drop-in visits to check on our fur baby, and we couldn't have felt more at ease! Our dog is very skittish around strangers, but Betsy was able to put her right at ease. Our dog is rather picky and won't eat very well unless some is there. Betsy accommodated this need and sat with her while she ate each day. She also sent us picture and video updates throughout the time we were away to let us know our baby was doing great! About: Hello! I have taken care of my own, family, and friends' animals for over 15 years and those in the community going on five years. I've worked with most breeds and ages. Size does not matter whether your best friend is 5Ibs or 150Ibs! I have a flexible schedule and can work with you on times. Whether it's walking, visits and feeding or all of the above I'm happy to help. I have experience with senior dogs and their sometimes more complex needs, including medical. For all services I require a meet and greet first. For house sitting, I don't do over nights but can be there very early and/or late and happy to work from your home and give your dog(s) as much interaction and breaks they need. For daycare in my home, I require a meet and greet with my dogs, preferably on neutral ground such as a local park, or my yard if needed. Dogs are just like humans, sometimes they're best friends sometimes they aren't and my number one priority is the safety of all animals. Dogs need to be okay with kids. My children are very respectful and I've taught them from a young age how to interact with dogs and read their body language, and give them space. But I know not all dogs have had positive experiences with kids. Don't worry about size or puppy rambunctiousness- they are used to that! I have extra crates if needed or prefered. I don't do off leash, your dog may be great off leash and have awesome recall, but I'm a new person and your dog might be anxious or just not as focused with someone new. Again my priority is safety, after all this is your best friend and family member! I have ground tethers that give them a large range to free roam, explore and play. I also use 30ft leads for fun walks in woods or local hiking trails. Feel free to ask about cats too! I love cats and am first and foremost a crazy cat lady. I've sat for all ages and levels of feline pickiness. I've done meds, including injections for kitties too. I work from home and as a result have a flexible schedule. I take time out of my day regularily to walk, play and be with our dogs and yours, it's a great way for me to break up my day and get to know the great dogs in the community. When caring for your pets I take great care to be respectful of your space, only going where I need to for your animals. I make a point to clean any pet mess and ensure they are secure before leaving.
