I am a lifelong animal lover and have always had pets, (with the exception of the time I lived in barracks). I’ve had cats and dogs, including 5 cats and a dog at one time. I also have experience with smaller animals, as we’ve had our Guinea pig Jolene for about 5 years. Some of the pets I’ve cared for in the past have been more “high maintenance “ in that they had severe separation anxiety, were timid/nervous, or in the case of one very precious cat, came from a house of 44 other cats.
