About: My experience caring for animals began in grade school, when I helped care for our horses, dogs, and neighbors’ animals. When our Labrador had her first litter shortly before my 10th birthday, I developed an even deeper connection with animals. I’ve always been drawn to their innocence, trust, and unconditional companionship. Caring for them feels less like a responsibility and more like an opportunity to offer the patience, kindness, and love they deserve. I have been a successful financial advisor on the island for 12+ years. Creating this account and becoming a part of this community is purely to give back to something that I truly believe in; quality pet care. Being single and childfree gives me the flexibility to make this happen. I make my work schedule so I am able to be flexible to animal and owner needs alike. I have had multiple friends and family members rely on me for personal pet care. The range of services I am offering would be anywhere from a quick dog walk on lunch break to overnight pet sitting. About: Aloha! 🌺 First off let me thank you for considering me as an option to care for your furry or not so furry friend! 🐾 I am from Illinois originally and have been living on the Big Island 3+ years. I like to spend my spare time in the water or on the trails. I love all animals and do exceptionally well with dogs & cats. I believe strongly in regular exercise, stimulative play, and a healthy diet for all animals. I am fast learning and willing to adapt to your pet's needs. I have many years of experience caring for dogs & cats in a personal capacity. I was a cat owner for 10 years until his passing a few years ago from cancer. About: I grew up with 2 Australian shepherds and I have shadowed a professional dog trainer. Although I have the most experience with Ausie’s, I am comfortable around all dogs that are friendly to humans :) I have also recently spent time getting to know cats and have fallen in love with them too! My schedule is not very set in stone right now. I have a lot of little jobs here and there but nothing full time. I will work to make myself available as much as possible. After September 21 I will start school but mostly online so I will still have free time. I am happy to accommodate to any specifications you have for taking care of your dog.
