I’ve helped my sister foster cats and dogs from the local shelter, many requiring meds and extra attention, so I’m very comfortable supporting pets with special needs. While Hawaii is home, I’ve also cared for animals all over the world: donkeys in Ireland, chickens in Hawaii, energetic dogs in Spain, and cats in Morocco. Growing up on farmland surrounded by dogs, cats, rabbits, and turtles taught me early on that every creature deserves love and respect. I specialize in longer-term sits (2 weeks to several months), offering consistency, companionship, and peace of mind while you’re away. Shardai took fantastic care of my furry friend and home. She followed my instructions to a tee and was capable of dealing with matters we had not discussed to my satisfaction. She would be welcomed back anytime.
Shardai was amazing and took care of our little darlings like they were her own. Our home was very clean when we returned.
Great for house/ pet sitting. Used her while I was 3000 miles and an ocean away for over 10 days. Used her for Christmas drop in to feed. Check in on the cats when I took dogs an hour away for two nights over Christmas. Swell communication. The animals love her! So do I!
Left 4 cats. One on meds and very prone to spraying. Plus two dogs. Various lanai orchids. Houseplants. Hanging yard plants for Her to care for. Sleep over. Stay at my house while I was on the Mainland ( live on Big Island). She recharged 3 collars. Kept up w pet messes. Yard. Cat boxes. Walks. Escaping lanai cat…. Feedings. Watering. And kept the crew content while I was gone! Amazing! Great job. I wish she lived downstairs! Great pet lover. No extra people over. Pictures. No calls in middle of night … responsible. Reliable. Follows instructions. School nurse. So can roll with the punches. Troubleshoots spa problems. No worry pet sitter!!!! HARD to find! I highly recommend her. Pleasant personality. Quick. Gets it!!!!

Highly recommend Shardai to tend your pets and home! She did a great job with our needy cats and our home was as clean (or maybe cleaner?) as we left it. Our cats missed her when she left- the true testament.

Programa
I work from 7:30am-2pm during the week, and am available for morning, afternoon and evening cares and quality time. On the weekends I love to get out in nature if your pet is adventurous or stay at home and snuggle up.
