“We highly recommend Molly. She took great care of our two dogs, she was flexible, cheerful and, most importantly, it was obvious that she really likes dogs! Molly came over for a meet and greet prior to her assignment, which put our minds at ease. Everything worked beautifully and Molly kept us informed about how our dogs were doing. Thank you, Molly!”

“Bri comes highly recommended! She made friends with our kitties day one, and us as well. Her years of experiance really shows. :) If you are looking for someone that you can trust to handle any situation, I would highly recommend Bri.”

“Kaylee is amazing!! Loving, caring, responsible and responsive, kind. She took such good care of our two kitties, gecko and our home for two weeks and is an absolute joy to work with.”

About: Aloha! I’m a tradesman by day and animal-lover 24/7. I’ve had animals since i was born and know they’re more than pets, they’re true ‘ohana. Taking care of your ‘ohana isn’t a job, it’s a connection. I’d be honored to take care of your ‘ohana. I’ve volunteered at various shelters across a couple states; from quick walks to multi-hour hikes, from playing fetch to administering medication, i will treat them as my own. Mahalo! I do have a full-time job, as a carpenter, so i am occupied Monday thru Friday, from 6am-4pm. Any animal that needs to be let outside will be taken care of every morning, every afternoon, and at lunchtime if possible. We can discuss what kind of schedule would make you (and your animal(s) the most comfortable! I believe there’s no better comfort for an animal than being in their home. I find it more tolerable for animals to get used to a new person rather than a new person AND a new habitat. My commitment is to making your time away from your animals as smooth as possible for you and them.
About: I’m equipped to care for all your pets needs and give them love and attention while you’re away! I have experience in cat sitting, dog sitting, Guinea pig/hamster/bird/reptiles etc. I love animals and care for all kinds. I work full-time with a consistent schedule, which allows me to plan my day around the pets I’m caring for. I make sure they get plenty of attention, exercise, potty breaks, and affection before and after work, and on my days off I have lots of extra time to spend with them. I’ll always be upfront if I think a pet’s needs are beyond what my schedule can provide. I care for every pet as if they were my own while respecting your home and your routine. I follow your pet’s schedule for feeding, walks, medications, playtime, and potty breaks, and I make sure they receive plenty of attention and affection. I keep your home clean, tidy up after your pet, and treat your space with the same care and respect I would my own. I’ll also send regular photo and video updates so you can relax knowing your pet is happy, safe, and well cared for while you’re away.
“Kayli was so amazing! I was out of town for the day and she did drop ins for my two dogs. She kept me updated with messages and pictures. I will definitely contact Kayli for future drop ins!”

About: Hi there! First off, I love dogs! I was raised with poodles once upon a time ago and I have had/have dogs ever since! Every dog I have ever had, whether it was my parents, siblings or my own, I have taught each and every one of them tricks and commands. I guess that comes to show I am really good with animals! I do have one pet already and her name is Kiwi. She is a five pound Maltese who loves everything and everyone! If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask! I look forward to watching your fur babies! I am a stay at home mom- our Kiwi, who is a Maltese just loves making new friends and my girls just love doggies! We Live in Kona and we would absolutely love to take care of your fur babies. I live in a beautiful condo complex that is gated and my personal lanai is fenced in. We have access to a beautiful garden behind our condo that has a lovely walking trail that I take our current doggy on and she just loves it and I know your fur baby would too!
About: I worked in a dog boarding and pet day care facility all through high school. Afterwards I did dog walking and pet sitting for those same families after I graduated and continued until recently when I moved. I grew up with lots of pets and I love every single one of them. Dogs hold a very special place in my heart. I have practice dispensing medication to animals due to my past job experience. I’m very active and love playing with dogs and taking them for walks. I also volunteered in my local animal shelter in the beginning of college. I’ve spent plenty of time around dogs, cats, and lots of other animals through out my life. Thank you for reading.(: I’m currently working from home part time while also taking my last few college classes online, so I have a lot of free time and flexibility to care for animals and make sure they’re getting the play time they deserve. I have lots of experience with high energy dogs and fostering a safe environment for them to get out the energy through fun play and runs.
“Great for house/ pet sitting. Used her while I was 3000 miles and an ocean away for over 10 days. Used her for Christmas drop in to feed. Check in on the cats when I took dogs an hour away for two nights over Christmas. Swell communication. The animals love her! So do I!”

“Callista was so warm and loving to my dog! She was on time, responsible, and focused on making my dog comfortable and happy, even asking for a brush to take out some burrs that got into his fur during their walk. I will definitely be asking Callista to sit again!”

“Wow! Kris and her daughters were great with my cat Nugget. He usually takes a couple days to warm up to people, but they had him playing by the end of the first visit. I had many schedule changes throughout Kris's visits, and she was always so accommodating. I'll definitely be using her the next time I go on a trip. Thank you Kris!”

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was young, from neighbors pets to family pets. Since moving to the island 5 years ago, I have deeply missed the companionship this brings therefore I am starting Rover! I can't wait to meet your fluffy friend soon! :) Thankfully I have a pretty flexible schedule, so this is a great fit for this type of job! I most always will be able to pop in for walks, feeding, etc at your requested time with no issues. Most of my work is remote, so if I am needing to be in your home for an extended period of time, this is also not an issue. I’m very detail-oriented when it comes to following instructions. Whether it's a special diet, medication, or specific routines, I will make sure to follow your dog's schedule just the way you would.
About: My experience assisting in training a future service dog through CCI allowed me to understand canine behavior and provide thoughtful care tailored to each dog. Pet care is a joyful part of my weekly routine! I’m available all day on weekends and weekdays after 3 pm, which gives me plenty of time to focus on your pets and give them the attention, play, and care they deserve. I treat every home and pet with respect, care, and attention. I follow your instructions closely, maintain routines, provide meals, playtime, walks, and lots of love. I’ll always keep your home tidy and secure, giving you peace of mind knowing both your pets and space are well cared for.
“I could not recommend Bailey more, she did an absolutely awesome job taking care of our kitty! Super communicative and went out of her way to make sure he was well taken care of. ☺️ Will definitely book again.”

About: I have experience with dogs and cats (also new born kittens), birds, rabbits, and fish. I have been dog sitting for years now, and I have been helping out with friends, neighbors’ pets and couple returning clients while they are away. I'm currently working remotely, so my schedule is flexible and just need wifi when I stay. I will be able to spend some quality time with your pets. We have a beautiful trail next to guys where we go on walks and meet with other babies. The house is pretty spacious for them to explore. I always make sure your buddies have a leash on at all time when we go out.

Leana did a great job! This is our second time having Leana care for our 3 dogs. We received updates and photos with every visit. Everything was perfect when we came home and our dogs were calm and not that excited to see us-which I see as a good thing! We will definitely call on Leana again and give her an enthusiastic recommendation.

We are so grateful to have found Leah! She did such a fantastic job feeding and taking care of our kitties while we were traveling. She was communicative, flexible, and always took the time to make sure all the care instructions were covered. It was a huge relief knowing our fur babies were in such great hands! Thank you, Leah!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
