About: My experience caring for animals began in grade school, when I helped care for our horses, dogs, and neighbors’ animals. When our Labrador had her first litter shortly before my 10th birthday, I developed an even deeper connection with animals. I’ve always been drawn to their innocence, trust, and unconditional companionship. Caring for them feels less like a responsibility and more like an opportunity to offer the patience, kindness, and love they deserve. I have been a successful financial advisor on the island for 12+ years. Creating this account and becoming a part of this community is purely to give back to something that I truly believe in; quality pet care. Being single and childfree gives me the flexibility to make this happen. I make my work schedule so I am able to be flexible to animal and owner needs alike. I have had multiple friends and family members rely on me for personal pet care. The range of services I am offering would be anywhere from a quick dog walk on lunch break to overnight pet sitting. About: I grew up on a farm with dogs and cats and horses and birds. I love animals and have trained many dogs throughout my life. I have a big fenced in yard and my 14 year old dog just passed away, crushing my soul. Until I ever feel ok again to get another dog, I thought I could love someone else’s dog while helping them out! I work from home and only leave the house for errands here and there. I spend the majority of my life on my property working and tinkering around. I have a big fenced in yard and no other dog currently on property. I do have a cat wandering around. I can continue to crate train and love on them all day.
About: Aloha! I'm Shanon, a naturopathic physician who loves to take care of pets in people's homes. I began caring for my neighbor's cat when I was 10 years old, graduating to dog care in my teens. Since then I have done pet sits in many states and countries, seeing some pets through their lifetimes. My clients have included dogs, cats, bunnies, tortoises, snails, fish and birds. I have also cared for chickens and horses and am willing to look after small farm animals such as goats and sheep.
