“Kathy is amazing. I feel like she loves our dog as much as we do. We left Meli with her for a couple weeks while visiting family on the mainland. Kathy was great at sending us updates and we could tell Meli was having an awesome time. We can’t thank Kathy enough for the piece of mind she gave us while away.”

“Chelsea and her boyfriend, Josh, really helped me out when I was in a tight spot. They are communicative, reliable, and were available on short notice. They took very good care of my dog and he came home happy and healthy. I think my dog really enjoyed playing with their two dogs. I would certainly use their services again.”

About: I have been taking care of animals for as long as I can remember! I have experience with everything from horses and livestock, to birds, reptiles and fish. I am currently working very part time (3 hours a day) at a Kennel. I am usually always home by 11 am and am only away from home for a very short time. I have a large fenced yard, but will crate or kennel pets while unsupervised for a very short amount of time. I spend a majority of my time at home with my own pets and hanging out in the yard.
“Dale and Miyi were absolutely wonderful with my dog, Rio! From the moment we met, I felt confident leaving Rio in their care. They kept me updated with messages and photos, and I could tell Rio was having a great time going on hikes, playing at the beach and hanging with their sweet dog Malo. When I returned, Rio was happy, healthy, and clearly very well looked after. It’s such a relief to have someone I trust—I'll definitely be using their services again!”

About: Aloha pet parents! Your pets won't just be watched, they'll be spoiled. I'm dependable, experienced with all animals, and genuinely to be around them. I'll keep them safe, loved, on their routine, and send plenty of updates so you can relax while you're away. With a nursing, and military background you can trust your pets in safe & dependable hands. I only work one weekend a month, and so I’m home plenty of the time. I study online and am working on an advanced degree in healthcare. I love to be outdoors and active, which is why I love being with animals so much. I live on an acre with one friendly Australian Shepherd who loves to make new friends. There’s plenty of safe space for walks, playtime, and fresh air. I make sure pets are always supervised, comfortable, and sticking to their normal routines as closely as possible. I pay close attention to feeding schedules, medications, potty breaks, and any specific instructions from owners.
“This was my first experience using Rover and a pet sitter. Diane was incredible and took care of our Loki with such short notice. She and her husband, Jeff, we’re so kind, accommodating, and genuinely love animals. Diane kept me informed of Loki‘s daily activities and also sent pictures that assured us he was having a wonderful time. I would highly recommend her and her services to anyone in need of a sitter.”

About: Hello, I have cared for dogs for 6 years and love them to death. I have a lot of energy for your dog or I can chill and pet him all day... whatever your baby wants I'm down! I am very flexible with my schedule due to my work. I work part-time so scheduling with me won't be a problem. If your furry babies have specific times I would be able to do so. I will take care of your pets like they are my own! I will make sure I have detailed instructions so your babies get the same care they would have in your hands. I love walking dogs or chilling with him with cuddle and pets. I am comfortable crating your pet or letting it roam based on your desires whenever I am not present with your pet. I am also knowledgeable in particular behaviors or needs such as anxiety, medication, and old age.
About: I grew up on a farm with dogs and cats and horses and birds. I love animals and have trained many dogs throughout my life. I have a big fenced in yard and my 14 year old dog just passed away, crushing my soul. Until I ever feel ok again to get another dog, I thought I could love someone else’s dog while helping them out! I work from home and only leave the house for errands here and there. I spend the majority of my life on my property working and tinkering around. I have a big fenced in yard and no other dog currently on property. I do have a cat wandering around. I can continue to crate train and love on them all day.
About: I have had both cats and dogs since I was in Kindergarten. Friends and neighbors have trusted me with their pet care needs for years. I have been on Rover for over 3 years now and am a trusted and reliable sitter. I oftentimes watch senior dogs, some with medical needs. I am very attuned to what animals need and give them tons of love and attention. It is a reciprocal relationship where we both appreciate the company and cuddles. When boarding dogs, my mom also loves dogs and is able to provide them with much love and attention when I need to be at work. She lives in the house and enjoys helping out with our furry guests. Your pet will most likely not be alone for more than an hour. I am very active and enjoy taking dogs on long walks. I always adhere to the pup's acitivity level and age. I have also cared for a neglected pitbull terrier in my old neighborhood. The dog was chained all the time and not cared for. I asked the owners if I could walk him daily. I have removed ticks and groomed him in an effort to provide some much needed attention and TLC. I have sought out medical care for the dog and helped to build a better shelter. I have also worked to educate the family on what it means to be a dog owner and treat the pup like a family member. Dogs just yearn to protect and be close to thier pack (owners). I still walk him to this day even though I know longer live in the neighborhood. The dog can be aggressive with other people and animals but is always affectionate towards me. I had to train the dog how to walk on a leash as it had not been walked in years. At first, the dog was a bit wild and did not know what to do. Now, he can heel and listens to commands. He even sits for some treats! I know how to use caution and practice safety measures when walking the dog so that others and the aggressive dog are kept safe and unharmed. I have a bleeding heart for animals. I am great with animals of all ages, personalities, and fitness levels! I am a social worker and love to give pets as much attention as possible! I am sensitive to their needs and always make sure your pet is comfortable. I treat them as one of my own. I am available to dog-sit/ house-sit or board most dogs as long as they are house trained.
About: I have 5 years of hands-on experience caring for my own dog, a German Shepherd, who has been with me since he was a puppy. I currently work afternoon shifts from 2 pm to 10 pm, which means I’m fully available in the mornings for walks, drop-in visits, and quality time with your dog. My days off are usually Tuesdays and Wednesdays, when I have full availability and flexibility. I’m reliable, organized, and always plan my schedule carefully to make sure every dog gets the attention they deserve. I prioritize safety, trust, and clear communication at all times. I carefully follow each owner’s instructions regarding routines, feeding, walks, and house rules. I’m respectful in clients’ homes and always make sure dogs are secure, comfortable, and calm. I keep environments clean and controlled, and I treat every dog as if it were my own.
About: Aloha! I'm Shanon, a naturopathic physician who loves to take care of pets in people's homes. I began caring for my neighbor's cat when I was 10 years old, graduating to dog care in my teens. Since then I have done pet sits in many states and countries, seeing some pets through their lifetimes. My clients have included dogs, cats, bunnies, tortoises, snails, fish and birds. I have also cared for chickens and horses and am willing to look after small farm animals such as goats and sheep. If requested, I take care of gardens/plants, mail/packages and any other issues that may arise while you are gone. Want local or distance references? There are many. Please ask for them! I look forward to hearing from you. Aloha, Shanon Much of my work is online so that I can spend the maximum amount of time with your furry, feathered and scaled friends - I aim to be at home 75% of the time. I treat all pets as my own so they get the attention, love and care they deserve. My services can also include administering medication (pills, subcutaneous injections for cats, insulin shots etc). I strive for your home to be in the same, if not better condition than when you left, and for your pets to be as well-tended to when you are away as when you are home.
