“Amber did a great job watching over my cat and medicating him even though he’s a difficult cat to medicate. I’m very grateful she was able to help out while I was away.”

“Joanna did a wonderful job taking care of our Willow Jayne! The pictures and detailed doggie journal were amazing! We look forward to you checking in on Willow Jayne in the future.”

“Very attentive and intuitive to my dogs desires…whether she wamts a walk or would prefer anplay session on the couch. She doesn’t just “walk” her clients; she takes care of them in a personal way”

“Where do I start? By saying thank you, honestly. I'm not a fan if leaving my home and basically my kids to someone new, it's an ordeal. But having found Angela here had changed that. I can now go a travel without having to worry about my little ones, she went above and beyond with her care and services. Tremendous care, on time, true to her word, and above all she's super cool, and with her ffet in the ground. Book her and forget about the rest! Thank you!!!”

“Liberty was great. We needed help with our retrievers while we finished moving tasks. We asked for her help and she was there within a couple hours. Then she stayed past her hour while we searched for uhaul returns. So relieved she was there to help us. Would definitely recommend her and would use her services again.”

“Torii has been helping out with our dog for a while now and has been so great with her. She is incredibly responsive and patient with a pup that’s not always the friendliest. We just rescued a second dog and she was more than willing to take the time to get to know both of them together. We would recommend Torii to anyone!”
“This is the second visit Monica has taken on with my energetic pups. She is a great communicator and sends lots of pics. Chewy arrived while she was there and she provided treats all around :) the pups love her and I can’t say enough about how appreciative I am to have a reliable person to take care of the pups while I’m out!”

“Jessica is fantastic with my Frenchie, Cleo! I was away from home for longer than usual and needed a sitter to come several times during the week. Jessica was super reliable and friendly. She sent pictures and updates each time she came. My dog suffers from anxiety and does not take well to strangers so I was very relieved. My doggie can't wait to see Jessica again! Lol ☺️🐾”

“As a first-time Rover user, I was naturally a bit nervous about leaving my dog with someone new. Paul completely put my mind at ease from the start! He even explained how I would be able to see on the app where the walk happened and how it would notify me in real time. His communication was exceptional - he sent regular updates and pictures during the walks, which really helped calm my anxiety. It meant so much to see my dog happy and well cared for. Paul was also consistently punctual, which I really appreciated. If you’re looking for a reliable, communicative dog walker who truly cares about your pet (especially if you’re new to Rover), I can’t recommend Paul highly enough!”

About: I've always taken care of my family pets, and have dog-sat for family friends! I kept up with meds, food, play, and anything else the dogs needed or wanted. Anyone I've asked said that they were more than satisfied with my care. Over the summer, I'll be taking online classes and have a part-time job, so I'll be pretty flexible when it comes to stopping by or walking dogs! I unfortunately will not be able to offer services at my own home. I have dogs where that type of activity just wouldn't suite them.
About: I have walked, taken care of many pets, given baths and followed feeding schedules for 14 years and have a beautiful collie of my own. Anytime after 5pm on those days I am available, as well as anytime during the week that can be scheduled according to your needs! I have cared for many different types of dogs with requests from owners. I am happy to meet any concerns you have and follow any routines in place, I would take of your dog as if it were my own and give your dog plenty of attention!

About: I've grown up caring for family pets like dogs, fish, turtles, hamsters, and frogs. I've always enjoyed taking care of family and friends pet's while their away, including: cats, geckos, and horses. There's never been a time in my life where I didn't have at least two pets. I have four years experience working in the pet care industry. I started at a general practice veterinary clinic assisting with general veterinary procedures as well as caring for pets who were boarding at the facility. I also worked temporarily at an emergency veterinary clinic, monitoring patients and assisting with major procedures. I also worked at a boarding facility for cats and dogs for two years, caring for overnight guests and facilitating playtimes with different groups of dogs, including being a lifeguard to dogs in the doggy pool. I have a very attentive eye for any physical or emotional stressors that your pet may be going through from all this experience with pet care. Please contact me with any questions you may have, I'd be pleased to work with you! I work from home part time, so I have lots of time to spoil your babies! I am very flexible with location, pick up and drop off, and extra dog adventures including sniffspots, dog beach, pet friendly stores and restaurants, and other adventures tailored to you and your dog. I'm a huge believer of giving pets the physical and emotional enrichment they need. Every pet needs the quality attention and physical exercise they need everyday! I would love to be that person for you. DOGS: I enjoy exploring outdoors and would be thrilled to take your pet on an exploratory stroll around the neighborhood or in a local park! I grew up with beagles, so I understand the importance of just letting the pup sniff, it's good for their brain! I'm also thrilled to give your baby a fast-paced walk or long-distance walk if they have that extra energy! I'm pleased to cater to any of your dog's specific dietary, exercise, training, or play routines. I will always keep you updated as you please! CATS: No matter how your baby feels about a stranger in their home, I'm determined to make them as comfortable as possible while I'm there! I love giving kitties the extra TLC they deserve, weather that's engaging in their favorite toys, or giving them as many of their favorite treats that I'm allowed! I'm always happy to administer any medications and adhere to feeding, grooming, cleaning, etc. schedules.

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Holly Hill
Liberty was absolutely incredible with her direct and quick communication and responses, which I appreciate and value very much. She followed directions precisely and did exactly as hired. She is very trustworthy and for my first rover experience I couldn't have asked for a better experience! She sent a lot of pictures and played with my 5 cats after ensuring they were taken care of (like water, litterbox, food.) Really happy with the level of care and communication and she deserves 10 stars!
Lauren was great in taking care of my pet guinea pig Coco. She was very caring and did an amazing job to make sure she had enough food and water every visit. Also, went the extra mile in cleaning her area. Very much appreciated and highly recommend her. Thank you Lauren :)

Once again Randa did a great job caring for our 18+yr. old cat. We were hesitant to take a long planned week trip because of our cat's advanced age and declining health. Randa has a long proven track record of reliability and excellent communication interaction with us and that is what gave us the confidence to go. So, now we're back. Randa did a great job as usual and the old cat did fine. If you need a sitter, Randa is our recommendation.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Holly Hill. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
