“Nicole took great care of our dogs while we were away and helped one of our dogs with his recovery from a dental procedure. He needed special meds and she took care of it well, even in his grumpy mood! Great sitter!”

“Kataryna and Teddy took AMAZING care of our cat. They were great at communicating and went above and beyond to meet our needs. They gave our cats lots and lots of loving. They house sat for a few days and even agreed to extend the care as we had an emergency and went to the store to get cat food/litter when we ran out. Will most definitely book them again!! Thank you both so so much”

“An absolute dream! Stacey gives the peace of mind every pet parent is desperate for when leaving their babies. Amazing communication and attention to detail. She goes above and beyond. We highly recommend!”

About: Hi! I’m your pet’s new favorite human 🐾 I treat every fur baby like they’re my own—lots of love, attention, playtime, and snuggles (if they’re into that!). I’m super patient, reliable, and great at picking up on each pet’s unique personality and needs. I also have a background in childcare, working in multiple child care settings and holding a CDA (Child Development Associate), so I’m naturally nurturing, attentive, and big on routines and safety. Whether it’s a shy cat or an energetic pup, I make sure they feel comfortable, happy, and cared for while you’re away. Pet care fits easily into my routine! I only work about 3 days a week from 9–5, so I have plenty of flexibility and time to give pets the attention they deserve. I provide personalized care based on each pet’s routine and needs. In my home, pets enjoy a safe, clean space with a fenced yard for playtime, plus lots of love and attention. I also have a friendly 3-year-old Shih Tzu who loves other animals and makes a great companion. In a client’s home, I stick closely to your pet’s normal routine

“My dog Delila is shy and doesn't like strangers, but she loves Gwendolyn. I guess because she can sense how much love Gwendolyn has for animals. Thank you for taking such good care of my girl.”

“I was gone 4 days and needed someone urgently to watch my 2 cats. She promptly responded to my request on rover and took my call to discuss what was needed while I was gone. I booked her for the 1 hour session with my cats every day. She sent picture updates and did a great job. My cats were very happy when I got home. Thank you!”

“An amazing pet sitter! Cheryl is so amazing with all animals and has outstanding professionalism. I an always weary who I leave my fur babies with, but I have extreme confidence leaving them with Cheryl. She always leaves the sweetest rover cards and worked really well with one catto I have who is shy. Thank you, Cheryl! You are amazing!”

“Damian was great. He took care of our dogs like they were his own with just a couple days notice. He stayed much longer than asked which I am sure the dogs loved! He also brought in our trash can and fixed a couple of our security cameras that the dogs knocked down in the window sill. We would absolutely use him again!”

About: I have fostered and worked with rescues in Canada when I lived there. I have also been a cat and dog mom for the last 26 years. I have potty trained and fostered puppies and abused animals from different situations. I own my own home and can sit in my home or yours. I love to drive so I can also pick up or go to appointments if needed. I am retired and have all the time in the world right now to do what makes me smile! That means being an amazing loving dog and cat sitter. I get up every morning take the dogs to the dog park or a good walk We go to the beach and go on trails exploring After a fun day we usually chill out when it’s especially hot and then have a nightly walk before heading to bed. I treat my dogs like family and if in my home they will have the house as they feel comfortable. If I am in your home I will follow any instructions left to insure that they are comfortable and consistent. I own my own home and have 2 fur babies of my own. A 15 year old bichon and an 8 year old cockapoo. If your animals come to my home they will be treated just like my own family. I am available for 24 hour care as well if needed for long periods of time. I do not crate my dogs they have free run of my home and furniture.

“Kim was fantastic! She sent wonderful updates and is definitly someone you can trust to take care of your fur baby when you’re away. I will be using her again when necessary.”
About: I have always had a dog or two or three since I can remember. Most of my dogs have been rescues of various breeds and sizes but my most loved were pugs. I was a member of Pug Rescue of Florida where I fostered senior and disabled pugs until they found their forever homes or joined mine. I am happy to walk, play, love, snuggle and bath your pet while you are away. I am a retired math teacher so I have plenty of time to devote to caring for your pet. My schedule is flexible and I’m looking for a side job taking care of pets that lets me enjoy something I am passionate about. I will treat your home with respect and follow all directions to the letter because I know how important it is to have your pets safe and happy while you are away.
“This is the second visit Monica has taken on with my energetic pups. She is a great communicator and sends lots of pics. Chewy arrived while she was there and she provided treats all around :) the pups love her and I can’t say enough about how appreciative I am to have a reliable person to take care of the pups while I’m out!”

“She fed my four cats twice a day for 6 days and did awesome. Usually one of my cats hates visitors but she warmed up to her by the second day or so, so I’m amazed. I’ll be using her again! Thank you!”

About: Caring for pets isn’t just what we do—it’s who we are. With roots that stretch from the English countryside to the heart of the U.S., my husband and I have a deep, lifelong bond with animals. I grew up on a traditional farm in East Anglia, where animals were part of the family. My husband, while not raised on a farm, has hands-on experience managing one, giving him a unique perspective on animal care. During our time in England with the military, I had the privilege of dog-sitting for fellow military families, ensuring their pets felt at home while their owners were deployed or traveling. Together, we’ve also volunteered countless hours at a dog shelter, where we poured our hearts into every moment spent with those animals. Our approach to pet care is all about love, dedication, and making your pet feel like they’re part of our family. When your dog is with us, they’re not just being cared for—they’re being cherished. Let us be your pet’s home away from home. My husband is currently on terminal leave from the military for the next two months, allowing him to be home all day, every day. I’m also available full-time, as I’m taking this opportunity to focus on our new puppy. With both of us at home, we have plenty of time and attention to give, and we’d love to welcome another furry friend into our home to join in the fun! In our home, we provide a warm, welcoming environment where your pet will feel like part of our family. We believe in maintaining a routine that mirrors your pet’s usual schedule, including feeding times, walks, and playtime, to ensure they feel secure and comfortable. We keep a close eye on their behavior, ensuring they’re happy and healthy, and we offer plenty of love and attention throughout the day. Our home is clean, safe, and well-equipped with toys, comfortable spaces for rest, and a puppy-proofed area for added safety. When caring for pets in a client’s home, we bring the same level of dedication and attention to detail. We follow your instructions closely, ensuring that your pet’s routine is maintained while you’re away. We’re attentive to your pet’s needs and provide regular updates to keep you informed and at ease. Whether it’s walks, feeding, or just keeping them company, we treat your home and your pet with the utmost respect and care.

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Favoretta
Hannah was such a pleasure to meet. She was so good with my cat as well. My cat is very shy and typically dos not appear when sitters come to the house. While still not friendly, my cat did come greet Hannah and allow herself to be seen. I think she sensed that Hannah is a cat person. Would definitely book again.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
