About: As a vegan, I care deeply for all animals. I’ve grown up around cats and dogs, have volunteered at sanctuaries, and have a sweet cat named Corny. I have many friends with dogs of all sizes and love them all as my own! I’m currently looking for part time/night time/weekend shifts, but am very open to discuss weekday availability. After reviewing different sitters we picked Yasmeen. She came over and had a trusting and pleasant energy. Had I not known my lab I would be nervous because he can be hyper initially. Yasmeen just put a treat directly into his mouth as if he was her dog! We were sold at that very moment. Our Maltese liked her immediately. She was willing to make all of us comfortable by fulfilling our requests. Keep in mind she had the keys to our entire home for a week while we were in another country! She did 3 drop ins per day. She sent cute, goofy pictures, potty info and events such as chasing bees for each visit. That relieved the little anxiety that was left while away. She even took our packages inside the house. We came home and they were happy to see us, but they also seemed to be at peace which we were thankful for. She also left us a little thank you note. We will 100% use her again!”

I’ve had pets basically my whole life that being said, I have experience with all kinds of animals, mainly dogs and cats and I currently have a cat named Lila. I do love going out for walks so having a great companion would make them even better! I also love sceneries so, if I happen to see a park I’m all for it. I currently do work until 4:30 on most days but after work my schedule is always open as well as on the weekends. Jason has been absolutely incredible. We needed someone to let our 2 pups out 3x a day and we were in a time crunch. This was my very first time using rover so I was a bit hesitant. I can’t thank Avalyn enough for the incredible care she provided to my beloved cat, Thomasina. Thomasina is very shy and not quick to trust, and for the first 7 days of my trip, she hid in the closet—nervous, withdrawn, and clearly missing her routine. But Avalyn never once rushed her. She made sure Thomasina had food, fresh water, and a clean litter box nearby, gently checking in on her while giving her the space she needed. Avalyn’s calm, compassionate attitude and genuine love for animals make her a standout cat sitter.
This is the second time using her services. I hope my feedback will provide her with even more clients. Yasmeen is super sweet, patient and gentle. Sometimes, I checked the pictures, and feedback.
