About: Growing up as a country girl, I've always had a deep connection with animals and a passion for caring for them. My experience in pet care includes looking after a variety of pets, from cats and dogs to farm animals like horses and goats. I'm currently working for Uber part-time with open availability in the evening after 3pm Mon-Friday. Being self-employed not only allows me to make my own schedule, but I have a very reliable vehicle with lots of space. I've already been transporting dogs and cats with their owners for a couple of years now, and I've gotten wonderful feedback about the level of comfort their furry friends experience during transport! When your pet is in my care, they will be safe and well looked after. I keep a close eye on them and provide secure spaces for playing. I believe trust is important, so I communicate with pet owners to give them peace of mind. About: I've taken care of dogs, cats and rats for most of my life. I've done it for family, friends and neighbors. This has always been my way of having as many pets as I truly would love to have and keep my husband! I am currently working part-time and I can schedule my work around any pet care. I will never "short" any animal the time they deserve. I prefer to take care of pets in their own environment. I think they do better with someone coming into their home instead of bringing them into a strange home. I think care depends a lot on the pet involved. I have the time and love to give them as much or as little as they need and want.

About: Ever since I can remember, myself as well as my family have loved and enjoyed dogs and they have always been a part of our family. I got my first puppy when I was 12 years old. She was a rescue and I had her until I was 26 years old. Her name was Molly. We had many other dogs during that time. My sister's and I were who cared for them all. Although this is my first time running a business caring for dogs, I have taken care of dogs most of my life. Some people call themselves a "people person". I call myself a "dog person". If its house sitting then I would stay in your home. I will follow instructions on how you want me to take care of your pet, I know pets can get anxious and miss their family. About: From a very young age I learned to care for pets and farm animals. In 4-H I studied animal husbandry. As an adult, I have had many dogs and cats. I love them as my family. My last two rescue dogs (American Pit Bull Terriers) made it to almost 13 years old before they crossed the rainbow bridge over the last few years. I am not ready for my own new family member, but I still miss the companionship of animals. So it just seems right to take care of yours. I am semi-retired, so I am free on most weekdays except Wednesdays. I get up early and do chores around the house in the morning, then go outside for a bit in the afernoons unless it is too hot. I live on 40 acres in the countryside. It's not fenced but I can take your pups for a great walk around the property on a leash. I have 3 spare bedrooms if they need quiet space. Or I have a kennel in my bedroom if they like to be with someone.

After searching, begging, and panicking, I got a response for Shea who was on board with the work and timeframe! He was very communicative, sending me messages regularly and responding quickly. He kept in the loop about my pets (dog and hamsters). And, one of the most important factors for me, he was kind and enjoyed being with the animals. He has experience with dogs so knows how to work with them and my dog behaved well and listened to him. When we got back my dog was a little confused - this was the first time we had ever left her with another person so we knew that she would be and Shea hung out a few minutes and we talked about some of the many many things he does while we acclimated a bit. My dog has an abuse history but with Shea she wasn't jumpy at all, she was comfortable and felt safe - that alone was a huge sign to me - just seeing how she reacted after a week with him and she was happy, comfortable, and calm. Oh and he pointed out an owie she got while we were gone so we could get it taken care of. Thanks Shea! I highly recommend him to others looking for someone!”
