About: Ever since I can remember, myself as well as my family have loved and enjoyed dogs and they have always been a part of our family. I got my first puppy when I was 12 years old. She was a rescue and I had her until I was 26 years old. Her name was Molly. We had many other dogs during that time. My sister's and I were who cared for them all. Although this is my first time running a business caring for dogs, I have taken care of dogs most of my life. Some people call themselves a "people person". I call myself a "dog person". I have always had a natural ability to connect with dogs. Dogs have always loved being with me. I care for them as if they were a child of mine. As I always have said, the more I get to know people; the more I love dogs! I'm currently a student at home so, I am available to give your pet my undivided attention. I treat all animals as if they are my own, like family. I love to spend quality time with animals. I also have good hygiene. I believe this is important because we all know how dirty animals can be. I am gentle and loving.

After searching, begging, and panicking, I got a response for Shea who was on board with the work and timeframe! He was very communicative, sending me messages regularly and responding quickly. He kept in the loop about my pets (dog and hamsters). And, one of the most important factors for me, he was kind and enjoyed being with the animals. He has experience with dogs so knows how to work with them and my dog behaved well and listened to him. When we got back my dog was a little confused - this was the first time we had ever left her with another person so we knew that she would be and Shea hung out a few minutes and we talked about some of the many many things he does while we acclimated a bit. My dog has an abuse history but with Shea she wasn't jumpy at all, she was comfortable and felt safe - that alone was a huge sign to me - just seeing how she reacted after a week with him and she was happy, comfortable, and calm.
